"Pasta loving moms will appreciate the four-course meal developed by celebrity chef Scott Conant being offered from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Mother’s Day. Begin the meal with antipasti options of tuna tartare, burrata, or insalata verde follewed by dishes of spaghetti or duck and foie gras ravioli. The secondi piatti entrees include branzino, braised short rib, or chicken, followed by desserts that include strawberry and guava panna cotta, a mascarpone espresso fondant, or a Valrhona chocolate terrina. (Price: $85 for adults and $42.50 for children twelve and under.)" - Stacy A. Moya

"Italian Mixology in Miami Within Miami 's most famed Fontainebleau Hotel is an gastronomic superpower, but it's the mixology by bartender Hector Aceveda that really sets the eatery apart. Try some of the innovative cocktails using food products and specialty preparation. A great alternative to the pool bars and nightclubs."

"The spaghetti at Scarpetta is as simple as it sounds. The fresh made pasta, tomatoes, and basil are plated into a perfect pasta ball shape. The dish is brought to the table under a cloche, allowing it to steam and be piping hot as it is placed on the table. Pro tip: it’s featured on the Miami Spice menu every year." - Amber Love Bond

"Scott Conant's glossy Miami outpost of his well-known New York City Italian restaurant is just as fresh as it was when it opened in 2008. The big draw at brunch is probably the buffet, which consists of a raw bar brimming with oysters and stone crabs, a made-to-order frittata station, Italian meats and cheeses, just to get started. A la carte entrées include lobster Benedict, chicken parm, and filet mignon, plus tableside Scarpetta classics like tomato-basil spaghetti and foie gras ravioli. Desserts include cups of mini panna cotta and rice pudding with a toppings bar. If you want to feel like the party from Saturday night is continuing on into Sunday morning, this is the place." - Jennifer M. Wood, Sara Liss

I had a great experience! Everything was amazing. Polenta is the dish for what you want to come back for. Black pasta with lobster is one of the best in town. Our servant was super professional. So I definitely recommend this place!

Outstanding meal, outstanding service, outstanding experience. Gil, our server, was exceptionally friendly and professional, and made excellent suggestions throughout the meal. Some truly sublime bites were the scallops, the tuna foie gras, and the black cod, however, all items were of utmost quality. Portions were great for the quality, and cocktails were terrific, too. Well worth the cost, and then some, and looking forward to going back!

Excellent service and food. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we dined, a bit extra on lighting but everything else was fantastic. Our server was friendly, had great suggestions and wasn't pushy (as expected). We shared the tuna foie gras which was deliciousness all in one bite, would order this every time. We shared a bottlyof Bordeaux which was reasonably priced, and helped us enjoy the dinner even more. I got the black truffle risotto + a lobster side, and my partner got the steak. We both were very happy with our food. During our dinner, the fire alarm went off (the staff quickly told us everything was ok but still firefighters had to clear a few steps before the alarm would be turned off) and it created a somewhat unpleasant few minutes with loud noises and alarm sounds. Obviously this is necessary and had it been a true disaster, we would appreciate being alerted and leaving the premises. Our server brought a dessert for us on the house to finish our dinner on a sweet good note. I would definitely have dinner here once more if I visit the resort again.

By far one of my favorite restaurants when I visited Miami this past week. It’s a tad different than your typical Italian food. Our waiter who was an older gentleman was fantastic. Considering how much I hated waiters and waitresses in Miami (they get paid %18 for gratuity regardless of how good or bad they are) this place did not disappoint. To start, they serve freshly basked bread with salami in it which was fantastic. We ordered an octopus app which was grilled to perfection. The main course was a seafood pasta dish which I also enjoyed. Over all I have to give this restaurant top 5 stars for perfecting everything!

Party of 8, not a single plate had anything left from the main course, the service was impeccable, the manager, I think, checked in on each course. I had the filet, cooked to perfection, presented beautifully, the wine selection was so tasty I took a picture of the bottle, the coffee at the end of the meal did not disappoint also, hot, tasty and truly delicious, along with the picture dessert. This restaurant is definitely on the list, we had a great meal memorable time, you will too.

Best fine dining Italian in Miami Beach. Scarpetta sets the bar for every measure of a restaurant experience: ambiance, service, quality of food, & taste. Surprisingly for being in the Fontainebleau, its not as expensive as you'd expect. We spent $165 which comparable to most places in Miami Beach is a good deal for 2 in restaurant of this caliber. The decor inside is a relaxing upscale nautical theme, very pleasing to spend time enjoying the atmosphere. Our waiter Eddy made the experience honestly. He's clearly a seasoned professional and treated me and my partner like we were VIP guests. He was very kind, personable, charming, and not overly involved or hovering - exactly how you want your waiter to be. He was spot on in asking us questions, guiding us through the menu, and suggesting options that were responsive to our particular tastes, from cocktails, appetizer, entree, and finally the desert. First, be warned the bread with ham inside alone could be a meal - its that good. We stared by sharing the burrata - just so creamy and tasty - along with the braised short rib - a test of our manners as it exposed both our gluttony in wanting the last bite. I left a piece of my soul in my entree, the duck & foie gras ravioli, it was that good. The roasted chicken was perfection for such a traditionally simple dish. For desert, the chocolate cake topped us off and made us loosen our belts. I highly recommend & can't wait til we can return.

Very great service , great cocktails, thank you to Natalija, she did a really good job. However the starters were small portions not really taste , main course better but overall overpriced. As a dessert we had Tiramisu which was an ice cream, definitely not a tiramisu. Coffee served in a big mug , Italian never drink espresso in a big mug , that’s is American. We had To much expectations for the restaurant.
