"Best Falafel in Prenzlauer Berg While the neighborhoods south of the River Spree are more famous for their Turkish and Arabic foods, in Berlin you can find falafel fast food & shawarma stands all over town. In Prenzlauer Berg, the small restaurant Salsabil serves the best deal on the tastiest falafel. Located just off Helmholtzplatz, this small eatery is great for a quick bite to eat. Consider ordering a take-away sandwich and strolling through the weekend markets at nearby Kollwitzplatz."

Best teller in Berlin!! Visited for the first time in 2021 and now living in Berlin I eat here almost every week. There is no better combination of amazing food quality, friendly service, cozy atmosphere, at a reasonable price. My favorite is the Salsabil teller, pictured here 🤩

Best Shawarma in Berlin! If you like good food and perfect atmosphere then you must come here. The genius who made my Shawarma was very friendly and welcoming.

Had the Shawarma teller and a soda for dinner. The quality of the food exceeded expectations. Very cozy, very yummy. Will definitely be back. Edit I went back twice. Changed my rating from 5 down to 4 stars. I think the potatoes and the lamb don’t rise to the level of quality of their felafel and schawarma. My opinion, the potatoes and lamb are bland and should be improved or removed from the menu. Edit 2: Living in the neighborhood I’d the option of choosing from maybe 6 schawarma places. Salsabil 2 was easily my favorite. (I just avoided the potatoes and lamb hehe)

Food is pricey for the quality — I got burnt black stones of meat in shawarma. The person takes cash and then prepares food with dirty hands which is disgusting.

The kebab was too good to wait to eat it in order to take a photo. True shawarmas in a cute and calm Avenue in the heart of prenzlauerberg. The staff is super nice and available, they also offered us a typical tee

That's what you get for 8€ each when you order it for "take away"... Seriously? Incomparable to the normal portion on a plate

Google
Very good and attentive service, great atmosphere! Everything is fresh but for me too bland food. Shawarma for 3/5

Super tasty falafel sandwiches, friendly staff and fair prices. Good for a quick take-away at night.

Yelp
Salsabil2 is a hidden gem in the Kollwitzplatz area - you probably wouldn't expect one of the best Shawarma places in Prenzlauer Berg just here, but it is! What makes it great is the value and quality - for 3 Euro (typical Berlin price for a Shawarma) you not just get a pita bread full of chicken meat, lettuce, tomato, onions, and a hint of mayo, you'll actually get a hand-size wrap, almost like tortilla the Mexicans use for their burrito. That said, you'll get a LOT OF shawarma. Which is great as other places I've tried are a bit stingy (looking at you, Adonis and Esra in Mitte). This is definitely my new to-go spot for my daily Shawarma cravings.

Yelp
I have been to here more than the times, and have just tried Falafel. I can't say it is bad, but it is not also good. If you don't have other options, you can give it a try.

Yelp
crap crap and nochmal crap. 6.50€ for a small plate of halumi with iceberg lettuce, over-salty pickle, a blah hummus. I've been here twice and each time quite disappointed. avoid, avoid, und nochmal avoid

Yelp
I like the sandwiches here but one particular staff member was a bit sneaky. I ordered the omelette sandwich which was tasty and as he was putting it together, he told me that he likes to put lots and lots of hummus on his sandwich and asked if I wanted it like that too, I said ok, then he quietly added that it'll cost 50 cents extra to which I agreed as it'd be "lots" in my mind. My sandwich arrived with less than a spoonful of hummus (which was average at best). Of course it's fine to pay some extra for hummus but I felt awkward to say no to the hummus when he suggested I put it in my sandwich but did not appreciate being told it would be lots of hummus when it was less than a spoonful. The whole event just put a sour taste in my mouth because I prefer restaurants handle customers with integrity and honesty. Anyway, I would recommend this place still, but just know what you're ordering and how much it'll cost. The plus side is, they give free tea.
