Best Vintage store in Seattle! Owners are amazing. High-end customer service! Beautiful collection of Clothing, Jewelry, Art, Decor and Vinyl Collection! I walked out with a new outfit, dress, purse, hat, sunglasses and jewelry! During Covid owner shipped all the way to San Francisco a cool top for me! Who goes this far for their clientele?! I recommend this place!!! From SF and Seattle won with Beats and Bohos! Miss you

Google
i have been visiting this store for a few years now and am a college student who loves vintage. unfortunately i am on a budget so i’m only able to buy from this store every once in a while, but i genuinely love coming in and seeing their excellent selection. however my love of this store pretty much stops there. the customer service from the majority of the workers there is some of the worst ive witnessed. despite having visited their store for years as both a customer and browser who has NEVER STOLEN ANYTHING, i am consistently treated with disrespect. i will probably continue going because their selection is great but i do not appreciate being talked down to and treated like a thief every time i come in. only giving over 1 star for their curation skills.

Google
Great store, love that they require masks. Interesting selection of vinyl, clothing, and some home goods. Well worth a visit!

Google
This is an AWESOME store, great selection of vintage in all sizes! Will be back soon! Don’t miss this place, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Google
Happened to stop by this shop because I love vintage clothing. Customer service was very rude, clothes were extremely overpriced. Never coming back.

Google
THIS IS THE MOST SPECIAL STORE EVER. My best friend and I both found not one, but a few perfect pieces! The music is great and this is our favorite vintage store in Seattle. The staff are super friendly. I wish I found Beats and Bohos sooner.

Google
I have been to this store many times since moving to Seattle. I have always loved the vintage selection and thought the store associates to have great taste. Today I went in with my friend and had a horrible experience. The two women working the shop were hawkish and incredibly rude while we shopped. I can empathize with a store that struggles with shoplifting, but they went out of their way to make us feel like criminals (with no cause) for the entirety of our time in the store. They griped at us any time we neared the dressing room, followed us around the store, and basically talked down to my friend who wanted to buy a beautiful vintage gown. The dress fit her perfectly, did they just not want a Korean woman buying it? Terrible customer experience. Be better.

Sophie Stypeck

Google
Without a doubt one of my happy places. They always have an incredible selection that is fairly priced. I don’t think I’ve ever successfully gone and not purchased something. Highly recommend if you’re looking for unique vintage clothing.

Yelp
I stumbled in here on a rainy day with my family. We were actually looking for another store and got confused but stayed to look around here anyway. So many vintage treasures! I had my toddler with me who was very excited to groove to the funky music in the store and the staff cheered her on and made us feel totally welcome. I got some great dresses here. I would definitely recommend beats and bohos to other thrifting enthusiasts.

Nicole P.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. Extremely rude. The prices are insanely high. Will not be returning.

Ken P.

Yelp
customer service is laughable. the front desk lady with a bob literally slammed the door & said "have a good f*** day" as we were leaving because we respectfully changed our mind on shopping due to their drink & mask policy. which we do not mind abiding to but we had just gotten fresh cups of coffee. owners should consider training & development for their employees. i will not be returning.

Yelp
This shop is great! From an amazing selection of records and cassettes to the perfect selection of vintage 1900s-y2k clothing and accessories! Friendly and helpful owners make it a must go to spot !

Yelp
One of the best things about Seattle without a doubt. Really nice people who put out awesome stuff at great prices. I can't even count the number of amazing records I've picked up here. Everyone from Otis Redding, to Leaf Hound, to Miles Davis, and Coltrane. Well curated, well priced, everything you could ask for!

celia c.

Yelp
I want to emphasize how clean, well curated and fairly priced everything is in this store. That doesn't mean that things are cheap; I was coveting a $495 Peter Max collectible in a display. But the clothes are in amazing condition as well as being clear examples of certain fashion eras. I walked away with a reasonably priced and immaculate dress from the 1990's that fit perfectly. If I lived locally, I would have pored over the records and looked for vinyl to bring home for sure; the records, like everything else in the store, were categorized clearly and in lovely condition. Both of the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful, and made cordial conversation at the front counter when I was checking out. The salesperson also made sure that I was aware of slight fraying on one item before I purchased it, which I thought was cool and honest. On one occasion I was leaving and the owner was at the door, and he made a point of thanking me for coming in. I will definitely be back to sift through their super cool rotating inventory the next time I am in town.

Kristi T.

Yelp
Amazing people who work there! They obviously love what they do! They make shopping fun! Highly recommend this shop especially in comparison to the neighboring consignment store! Night and day difference!

C. K.

Yelp
This is one of the best places to dig for records in town. Small but very well curated selection of all genres. BJ is a wonderful guy and I rarely leave this place without another record to spin. Don't hesitate stopping by this hidden gem.

Maureen O.

Yelp
One of the best vintage stores in Seattle. Clothes, jewelry and more. They also have a great selection of vinyl and some home goods. It's located in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood and is just north of the zoo.

Tracey W.

Yelp
I have been going to Beats and Bohos for YEARS when I lived in Seattle and still have many gems from them in my travels. I have gotten immaculate vintage coats for way solid prices and very rare or hard to find records for less than other stores or discogs. BJ and Omaima are pillars in Greenwood and know everyone, they throw fun events and really care about the community. I've never had a bad time there and I hope they continue to stand strong and grow in a very changing city where a shop like BnB is much needed now more than ever. Don't sleep on them, they are a Seattle gem.

Lisa L.

Yelp
Visited for my first time and experienced microaggression from unfriendly, privileged owners (workers). Tried to see past it and make conversation at check-out, but still terrible service. Do not recommend to anyone.

Charisma D.

Yelp
The amount of classics this store has is so amazing. What I loved most what that everything was responsibly priced. I was able to pick up some classics I've been searching for (best of Teena Marie & Diana Ross greatest hits just to name a few) and was shocked to find them there. There were a few other records that I didn't know I wanted until I saw them here. I was pleasantly surprised to find one of my favorite artists, Gato Barbieri. They had one record I hadn't yet heard, and they were kind enough to put the record on so that I could hear it and determine if it was one I actually wanted. One of my greatest record store experiences and excellent customer service. Will definitely revisit this place the next time I'm in town.

Sara D.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Greenwood. So cute inside, beautiful clothes, local jewelry. Reasonable prices, good selection, and a dollar section full of gems. But most importantly: kind people who care about their work and the community. More than once, I've bought the record that was playing while I browsed, only to hear that they'd put it on because they thought I might like it. Where else does that happen anymore?! Recommend to the sky!!

Nicole C.

Yelp
My favorite store in Greenwood. Period. This store is everything. Come here to find a perfectly curated collection of all manner of vintage goods: Cool clothes galore, funky housewares, records, quirky art, furniture, you name it. You will find the unexpected here. Plus the added bonus of quality records playing while you shop. I have received so many compliments on the art pins I bought here. I have also found a host of really eclectic gifts for friends at this store. The owner is a delight as well. Love this place!

Brenna K.

Yelp
My first experience with Beats & Bohos was when I was brand new to Seattle. It was my first time being in a vintage space that I felt 100% welcome in -- even if I wasn't the most stylish cat on the block. The clothes are beautiful, there is variety in shapes & sizes & colors & eras, and the folks working are always attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the most obscure of clothing and music references. They utilize the space and promote tons of local artists via art shows, hanging pieces on the wall, and integrating live music into their tiny but open space. Much love to the people here! Thank you for integrating style and incredible music into the community in North Seattle.

Amirah E.

Yelp
You want a well curated vintage shop in a swell little neighborhood? LOOK NO FURTHER. The owners really care about what they place in their stock between the knick knacks, local goods, LPs, sick threads and furniture you could spend all day perusing. Really sweet atmosphere; it is truly a place run by a passion for relics of the past & community in a way that is very rare around Seattle these days.

Yelp
Good People. Great Vintage. I discovered Beats and Bohos over a year ago, when they were located in their Ballard location on 15th. Recently moved on up, literally, to their new Phinney Ridge location. Great view. And even better stuff inside. Vintage records to lure the music-phile, and amazing vintage clothing, with affordable price tags attached to them. I love the positive, laid back vibe of the owners/cashiers, and I love the people who shop there. Beats has always got some killer tunes spinning, and pretty much the best vintage in town. Come discover Phinneywood's best kept secret!

Laura B.

Yelp
What a wonderful place! This is a great location and I definitely want to spend more time here. This had a good selection of larger dresses... I usually wear a large or 12/14 and I was able to find some good options. The records take a central role in the store, with the clothes around the edges. This is a good place for me to shop while my husband looks for records. That sounds sexist but it is true for us.

Mike P.

Yelp
I live down the streets from Beats & Bohos, so I swing by fairly regularly to check out their vinyl. They don't necessarily have the largest selection in town, but more times than not I walk away having found something. And they're always adding new stuff -- often high quality, rarities. I've found everything '70s classic soul to '80s synth pop to '90s hip-hop, and always reasonably priced. This is a gem of a store!

Jessica W.

Yelp
The best Vintage clothing in Seattle! I discovered Beats and Bohos walking along Phinney Ridge one day. Immediately I was drawn inside by its illustrious, alluringly beautiful store front window display. Not only is the vintage clothing topnotch, but also their array of collectable, one of a kind, original antiques is incredibly impressive. Mod glassware, animal trinkets, collectors books, it's all wonderful! To top it off, their selection of vinyl is super awesome! Whenever I peruse theses records, without fail I will always find a totally unique, amazingly great album! Just like the good old vintage music shops of Early Seattle, the feel of Beats and Bohos is warm and welcoming. Always there's good music playing, friendly smiles, and a great energy of lovely creativity and sheer enjoyment. Clearly, the people taking care of this shop care a lot about their work; they believe in their business and they have a ton of heart. I highly recommended checking out Beats and Bohos! Some of the best vintage pieces I've ever seen come from this beautiful store (Burberry slacks, original 1960s mod dresses, Christian Dior scarves)...Honestly, I could go on and on about the endlessly blissful virtues of this super cool, amazingly awesome vintage clothing and record store! Check it out; Beats and Bohos is Seattle's hidden and gorgeous vintage gem!

Domenica C.

Yelp
Beats & Bohos is one of my very favorite stores ever. I am both a huge music fan and a vintage clothing fan, so this place is heaven to me. Everything is beautifully laid out and presented, and it is obvious the owners have a good eye for clothes and home decor pieces. Also, everything is reasonably priced! Beats & Bohos feels like an artistic haven in an increasingly bland cityscape. It is just the bees knees.

B. N.

Yelp
Friendly folks, cozy place, amazing selection, especially for the size, and prices so good that if I didn't no any better I'd think it was a front for something

Lana R.

Yelp
This shop rocks! A fixture in the Greenwood community. The coolest denim, dresses, t's, records, and furniture. Unique, eclectic vibes and run by knowledgeable kind folks! Love this place. Got my favorite pair of high-rise dark wash jeans here!

Debbie F.

Yelp
The ladies working here will go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. Really great customer service and super cool clothing!

Lesley D.

Yelp
I love the selection of vintage goodies in this shop! It's so fun to peruse the clothes, accessories, and housewares. Oh, it's a record shop too if you need to pick up some tunes. Follow in Insta or Facebook to stay tuned for fun shows!!

Sonya P.

Yelp
This is a gem of a store!!!! A true find. They always have new stuff, and almost every item in the store is worth a look. I'm a record collector, and I absolutely recommend a stop to see these guys if you're in the mood for some rare and unique finds. To top it all off, they might be some of the kindest store owners I've ever met.

Caitlin A.

Yelp
Wonderfully curated selection of unusual (and well-priced records). A lot of record stores have predictable genre sections and most of the $1-$8 records are mediocre, but here I found myself flipping through nearly every section...I'm certainly no record guru, not even close, but it was really a joy to see so many unfamiliar but undoubtably quality options. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill location. Nice lookin and equally as unique clothes, accessory, and shoe options as well.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Very cool place with a nice selection of records front and center and vintage clothes around the store. I didn't see any clothes I thought were too great but I'm sure there are some gems in there. It's a little difficult to sort through in packed clothes racks like most sendhand places. But I love the vibe in here, and they had these sweet jackets hand-painted with different musicians on the back by a local artist.

Klark V.

Yelp
Great selection of records at the right (read, not Bop St.) prices! The new arrivals section is always stocked with fantastic titles. Also, outstanding selection of vintage clothing, furniture and housewares - AWESOME STORE!!!

Sam D.

Yelp
One of the gems of seattle thrifting. I've found some really great clothes in great condition and have bought presents here that were really cherished by those I gave them to.

Vendela V.

Yelp
Such a great store in the fun & funky Phinney neighborhood with a good selection of vintage clothing, records, books, jewelry, furniture, art and all kinds of hidden treasures. I wish I had endless amounts of funds so I could go more often as there are always new & different things I would love to buy. The owners really know their stuff and are always happy to help with finding what you are looking for.

Ilysia V.

Yelp
Beats & Bohos is a staple for the vintage and record lover! I have been shopping here for two years and counting and have found so many of my favorite pieces from here. The duo that runs this shop are both super friendly and knowledgeable and truly love helping you find something you're hunting for, or something you didn't even know you were hunting for ;). I always appreciate the wide variety of styles in the shop at any given time, and especially love that I can usually find curvier sized pieces, too! On top of it all, the prices are super reasonable which keeps me coming back. If you love vintage and records, don't miss this gem!

Jessica S.

Yelp
Love this shop! Well curated with a great selection of clothing , records, and furniture. Found some amazing coats and dresses here!

B B.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I LOVE this store, but customer service could be improved a bit. I've shopped here numerous times since the store opened (and almost always buy something), but the owner/staff don't seem very friendly. I hate to even write that, but it's happened to me enough times stopping by there that I feel like it's worth mentioning because a few smiles and a friendly greeting would easily catapult this spot to 5 stars for me. I've had great luck shopping their vintage clothing and their record selection is great too. It's rare that I shop here without buying something, so if you like to peruse vintage clothing (sorted by the decade, YAY!) and vinyl records then this shop is SO your jam. (Side note, they often have live music in the store for art walk/special events which is pretty neat!)

K Z.

Yelp
A fantastic store of incredible vintage clothing for both men and women at very reasonable prices...and I have purchased some of my favorite records there as well. So many great rercords spanning many genres. The last record I grabbed there was a near mint copy of the Saints 2nd record "Eternally Yours"!!! This store is a MUST SEE if you are visiting Seattle and if you're a local, get over there and check it out.

West K.

Yelp
I usually love this place. The records are really well curated: great old punk, hardcore, avant-garde, and cassettes. The prices seem a little high at times. Once, I did have a disappointing experience where the clerk seemed really put out by my having a toddler in the store. Seems like that would be really common on Phinney Ridge?

Ozma L.

Yelp
I love Beats 'n Bohos! Cute little vintage collective shop with a selection of men and women's clothing and and VINYL. I've found rare finds, and so many great post punk/ new wave LPs. I'm also very much into mid century furniture and knick nacks which they also have! Every time I make a trip down to this shop, I come back with an arm full of stuff. Too good!

James C.

Yelp
Great little record and vintage store! Picked up a handful of records at great prices and the ol' lady got some sweet blue leather boots. Everyone was happy!

Andrew E.

Yelp
excellent curation of threads, homewares and vinyl run by super-friendly people. every time i go record shopping there, i come away with something i was wowed to find at a fair price, plus the proprietor was super sweet entertaining my daughter w/ flamenco lessons while I dug through records. wish i could get in there more often!

Callie C.

Yelp
Beats and Bohos is hands down my favorite place to shop. Their pieces are always cool and affordable, owners are friendly, and events are fun. I've gotten a ton of cute clothing and rare vinyl there. It's the best!

Catie B.

Yelp
I'm so happy to have such a great source of vintage clothing and records right in my neighborhood!

Dylan W.

Yelp
The first time I visited Seattle i met BJay and Omaima, the owners of this shop. They are the sweetest most wonderful people of all time! Welcoming and helpful. They are always stocked with amazing music, the best vintage clothes and just have outstanding taste. Their prices are so solid and i was lucky enough to find one of my favorite albums for a steal. They are seriously encyclopedias in regards to music and can recommend wonderful things. For anything vintage come here, they can help you find anything!

Mika B.

Yelp
Back in the day, Seattle was teeming with rad vintage stores that had a great selection of vinyl as well. Now all but a few are gone and the best one is right here: BEATS & BOHOS. They are amazing curators of fashion, style and great music in LP and 45. Rarities, obscure and just plain forgotten greats are available here in prog, psych, experimental, groove, funk, hip hop, motown, punk, metal, noise, new wave, electronica etc. The fashions are all one-of-a-kind beauties from the 20's to the 90's as well as some solid modern takes by talented local artists. Jewelry (both vintage and modern designs), shoes and boots, hats, purses, belts, lamps, chairs - you know, everything one needs to lead a stylish life! They used to have great live music and they still have wonderful art openings. Keep your eye on Beats & Bohos.

Darlene N.

Yelp
Beats and Bohos is my go to shop for vintage dresses and vinyl. The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. The vintage dresses are in excellent condition and are reasonably priced. When I recently lost one earring of a pair I bought there Omaima was able to contact the maker to get me a new earring. Beats and Bohos is the best!

Sole D.

Yelp
I visited Beats and Bohos during a summer trip to Seattle. Every vintage item is undoubtedly hand-picked which makes the shopping experience such a pleasure! The shop owner creates darling front window displays (I've been watching the postings as an Instagram follower) and truly enjoys helping her customers find treasures - an easy task with all the fantastic vintage items and records in the store! I also love how she plays the records while you shop! Check out their events, too, by adding Beats n Bohos to your Instagram feed!

Jeff B.

Yelp
Shops like these are becoming rare, great live music and a collection of unique items make this a must stop for those visiting Seattle

W.V. B.

Yelp
Great prices on vinyl! Not a big selection, but good for some odds and ends while crate digging.

Erin B.

Yelp
I stumbled into here thinking it was a different thrift shop, but I was very pleasantly surprised! Great cute selection of vintage clothing to peruse, all in great quality. I found a lovely leather purse, reasonably priced and in awesome condition. I'm not a vinyl user sadly but a quick glance at their selection showed a solid and fairly varied selection there, too. Would love to come back someday again!

Duck B.

Yelp
I ALWAYS find something amazing here. My last visit got me a breezy blue nylon shirt AND UK pressings of the first two Chameleons albums. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND THE CHAMELEONS FIRST TWO ALBUMS? I brought my mom and sister here. They visiting from NYC and they were thoroughly impressed. The store gives off that high-end consignment vibe, but the prices don't reflect that at all. So refreshing considering the rediculous mark-ups of similar shops in the area.
