Hofheimer Building

I was hired as a Balloon Artist to decorate for a 50th birthday event At Hofheimer this past weekend. At first, it was stressful because we found out the night before the event that the Do,inion Parade was happening at the same time, but... I got there early and was lucky enough to find parking right out front! This building was awesome, you would never know what's inside by looking at it. When you first walk in , there's a dining and bar area. Then up on the second floor is the event space, The room I set up in was the Library. I put the balloon garland up against one of the wall bookcases and the client loved it. I have got to make time to come back as a patron and experience the place.

I am not sure what happened, but the communication is terrible when trying to book an event here. I took a tour of the space for a birthday party, everything seemed to go well, but as soon as I tried to secure the space, the communication with the event manager, Morgan started dwindling. It took her 2-3 days to follow up with basic questions and then about 10 days out from my event, she completely ghosted me. I was about to sign the contract and pay them too. I guess I dodged a bullet there! I am a fairly understanding person, and I appreciate any transparency, so if the space was already booked, or there were issues, etc., just tell me so! I had to scramble and find another space about week before the party. It was completely unprofessional! I do not recommend them!

We celebrated a friends birthday, and had a reservation on the roof. It rained, and they were so kind to have us moved into the library. The drinks were great, the bartenders were fun, and Todd and Lenny directed us to where we needed to go, and answered all of our questions! We are so appreciative of the thought that went into curating the experience, and can’t wait to come back! Thanks again, Todd, Lenny, and everyone else!

My business Divine Decorating Services LLC decorated for a birthday party there. Wedding Coordinator Gabby was awesome. The hall is well kept. This venue has 3 levels with elevator access. The first floor is a restaurant sports bar. Second level event hall 2 separate rooms. The third level is rooftop. The downside is they do not have parking. Parking is on your own very inconvenient. Also small food prep area. No on site cooking in the event hall and no ice machine

We recently staged a production of Hamlet at the Hof in their Loft space and I could not be any happier with our experience. The space, their staff, everything was amazing. I believe that our production was the first piece of theatre that has been staged in the space but you wouldn't know it from the way they anticipated all our unique needs. The level of professionalism and preparation throughout was so impressive. They thought of everything, including a dozen things we hadn't even considered ourselves. Everyone was so helpful and so flexible with all our last-minute minutiae. Bobby and Gaby were prompt with all our communications and excited about helping us put on our show; Leigh was so welcoming and accommodating with helping us get set up when we arrived; the bartender Daniel was so kind and helped us out with a fun audience-participation moment in our show. I cannot recommend this space highly enough for any and all kinds of events. Prior to staging our show there, I have been to lots of various events here, from classical music concerts, to storytelling events, to fashion shows, and they were always wonderful, which is why I chose to host my own event there.

I recently had my son’s rehearsal dinner at the Hofheimer building, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! Morgan, the event planner, was so accommodating to all of my needs… she helped guide me in selecting a dinner menu, beverage choices for the open bar, and even put beautiful linens and tea candles on all of the tables for me! The venue with all of it rich historic architecture was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend this space for any of your upcoming events! I wish I could do it all over again!!

Parking aside LOL this place was fantastic! Attended a BNI Dream Team networking event. The service was fast and helpful. Lots of space. We'll be back!

We hosted a company team building event in the Loft at the Hof and it was a dream. The space was awesome and allowed our team to feel Richmond-y and fun but also have the space to be productive and thoughtful. The Hof team was also super accommodating and kind. 10/10 recommend! We'll be back!
