Rosamunde Sausage Grill

Sausage. Easy protein rich meal that makes me happy! I order without a bun to make it as gf as I can. This makes it easy to eat 2 sausages in one seating! I love the game sausages. I love the hot dogs. I wish the sausages had more fat. I love greasy sausages! Even better? I wish they would make boudin. They'd be an easy Bay Area dress down eats pack leader! Imagine it. Meats, rice, and spices in casing. A complete hand held meal. Ohhhhh I wish I wish! Go. Eat so much sausage. Meat is good.

I got a impossible brat w/ grilled onions, an order of pretzel sticks, and a Boylen's rootbeer and it all came out to ~$28. Overall, I'm a bit unimpressed with the meal, especially for the price! The brat was plain and the grilled onions weren't seasoned, so they ended up tasting a bit sweet, which really threw off the flavor of the brat. Also, I couldn't see the brat under all of the onions so I'm wondering why I payed so much for it ☹️ The pretzel order only came with 3 pretzel sticks, a cup of mustard and a cup of cheese. The cheese was bland as well, so we had to compensate with a lot of mustard. They had a variety that I enjoyed but I can't justify spending $30 on a meal that needs that much mustard... 😅 the rootbeer was delicious, and I'm really picky about my rootbeer.. but I'll find a corner store that sells it and save myself $25.

The beyond sausage was fantastic. The owner is very nice and helpful with the menu. Definitely going to come back again.

Best hot dogs I've ever eaten in my life. Rosamunde Sausage Grill is a genius, his recipe is pretty simple but SO good. There's usually a long line especially after 2am but it goes fast and is well worth it!

This place is all sorts of rad! They have an awesome sausage selection with a bunch of fun fixings to pair with them. I like that they have a specialty sausage of the month too. They have vegan options as well, which is very unique but also very San Francisco. Another fun fact about this place is that you can order your sausages and get them "to go" and take them next door to Toronado. You not only get amazing sausages but then you can pair them with awesome beer as well!

I was so excited to try this place because everyone raved about it -- "and they even have great vegan sausages!" But then I got there and found that the vegan sausages aren't even the restaurant's own; they're just Field Roast brand sausages. I can (and do) make those for myself at home! This is a sausage specialty place. The least they could do is make their own sausages. That said, it's a good snack if you're out drinking after work and realize you haven't eaten dinner!
