Great place to stop in for breakfast/brunch. Visiting from Tennessee and glad we stopped in. I’m giving four stars because the biscuits and gravy were peppered down and the biscuits weren’t giving traditional southern biscuits and gravy. The potatoes were a bit over salted as well. Everything else was great. The pancakes were probably the best I’ve ever had.

I liked this place as soon as I smelled it. We got seated in a “moderately heated patio” which was an amazing temperature. There wasn’t a long wait but the chocolate chip pancakes were amazing. Apple juice made of real apple and not the fake stuff. Guy taking our order was nice also. I don’t know if I’ll be able to come back, but I really hope I will.

He made us feel welcomed and truly special, which added to the overall experience. While we encountered minor issues with our food, we easily overlooked them because The Rooster more than made up for it with its stylish ambiance and inviting decor. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, perfect for a celebratory breakfast. Overall, I highly recommend The Rooster for anyone looking for a memorable breakfast experience. With its delightful staff and vibrant vibe, it’s a must-visit when in St. Louis!

Cute setup but service was terrible! Alina H was our waitress. Someone else filled up our drinks and brought our food. The food came fast once we ordered but just a long wait for everything. If you come here just plan on being there for a while.

The Nutella crepe and boozy coffee I had were great. My friend got some kind of crazy burger and said it was one of the best. The rooster potatoes are good, too. So was her bloody mary !

I first heard about Rooster when in Chicago of all places. My friend learned I was moving to STL and said she was ready to drive to The Lou just to go to Rooster! And man was she right! It’s gotta be one of my favorite breakfast spots here. The slinger is incredible, so good I’m resolved to learn how to make it at home. Do give them a shot, you won’t regret it!

Walked in at 140p for brunch. They were definitely winding down for the day but we were seated immediately and our order taken. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious. I ordered the French toast with fresh berries and he ordered the stuffed French toast 🔥🔥. Will definitely return.. waaayyy before closing time next time.

I love that they seated us outside. I love that the flowers and atmosphere are wonderful and the staff is so accommodating. The slinger with andouille sausage was amazing. The coffee was great too. The mushroom crepe went uneaten. It was a mass of thick, gluten free dough with some mushrooms and onions only. I asked for bacon and although it was forgotten, there’s also no egg on it and I should have caught that on the menu. You can’t just eat that much dough with little inside to balance. The prices are a little high but I’ll definitely try again.
