Either way, it’s a very New Orleans destination, located near the upriver edge of the city. (It’s about a $15 cab ride from downtown.) After Katrina and a parting of the ways with his earlier landlord, the owner moved a few blocks down to this former paint store, installed new lanes, added a bigger stage, and hauled much of his original funky decor to the new spot. The Rock N Bowl in New Orleans is absolutely wonderful. There were 50 in our group, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The music was on point, the food was great, the place was clean and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Those who bowled had a great time. Some of us learned different line dances. Even our bus driver came in and joined the dances. I strongly recommend the Rock N Bowl for just about any type of event.

Love!!!!! Went here on a Thursday night because of a recommendation from a friend and was hesitant to pay $15 for a cover. But do it! because with the cover you get live music and dance lessons from the other bar goers. My friends and I had a blast here our first night in NOLA. Starting with dancing and then onto bowling once we got tired… PS. You don’t need to rent bowling shoes if you have close toed shoes. If you are wearing sandals you have to rent shoes and buy socks for $3

The lanes themselves were okay if you just want to bowl. Thought it was weird that they offer to bowl in your own shoes and don't really enforce the closed toed shoe policy (saw someone bowling in sandals...). The venue itself was more rock than bowl. They charged a $25 entry fee per person for an event that wasn't happening for another hour. That's on top of the $25 you have to pay to actually bowl on a Friday night. The bar was nice however and the drinks were pretty cheap.

This place is cool, just be ready to pay in cash or with an app to get in. Same with ordering food because you have to scan QR code and order from app. Live bands are good too. I have been on latin night and Zydeco night, The dance floor is always a good time.

This was my 1st time at this establishment and it was an amazing environment, full of excitement from the moment I walked in.I was visiting from out of state with family and we had a girl's night out ..Definitely a great time .I will definitely visit next time I'm in state.

It’s not like a real bowling alley, more like a music venue and the bowling setup is novelty. The balls are in absolutely horrible shape, lanes are short, and the floor where you bowl from is very slippery and honestly a little dangerous. Great staff though, and the atmosphere is cool. Looks like a great space for a party.

My Coworker setup our end of school year celebration at Rock N Bowl! The place had great bar, food and a live band playing! The employees was friendly and helpful! It great place to have laugh, sing and bowling my favorite thing to do! It was nice cool inside! I will go again with friends! There bathroom are very nice and cute!👍❤🎳
