Restaurante El Dorado

A must if you're in Puerto Rico, you have to stop by this amazing restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. The view of the island is fantastic. I definitely recommend this restaurant. I can't express how beautiful the views are. The food tastes delicious, and it's traditional Puerto Rican food 😋. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Review of El Dorado Restaurant – Salinas, Puerto Rico El Dorado in Salinas is an absolute gem! Despite being packed with both locals and tourists, the wait time was impressively minimal. The restaurant offers a warm, family-friendly environment that makes you feel right at home. The food is nothing short of chef-quality—flavorful and perfectly executed. Every dish we tried was a testament to their culinary expertise, and the desserts were equally impressive. Sitting right on the marina, the setting is picture-perfect, providing stunning views that enhance the overall experience. This was our second visit, and once again, El Dorado did not disappoint. Its proximity to local beaches makes it an ideal spot to enjoy a fantastic meal after a day in the sun. If you’re in Salinas, this is a must-visit destination! Highly recommended.

Pleasantly surprised by this mildly upscale restaurant, why? Because of it's off the beaten path location...service was excellent (bilingual), meals were plentiful and tasty. So much to choose from, full bar and an extensive wine collection. The establishment is clean, spacious and enclosed (wind protection?)but the view is of the harbor and the modern fishing boats. Parking in their lot is tight, but better than the road. 😋👍

"The restaurant “EL DORADO” in Salinas is simply spectacular. From the freshness of the seafood to the creativity in the presentation of the dishes, this place definitely does not disappoint. The ambiance is cozy and the service is impeccable. I recommend trying their Mofongo Relleno. A gastronomic experience that you will surely remember! As expected! Worth the drive and wait to enjoy a great seafood platter! You cannot go wrong with the fish chicharrones, tostones rellenos de langosta, the mofongo relleno, and the fish muslitos . All main dishes can be accompanied with your favorite side dish -but the maduro mofongo is a must try. Best to arrive mid afternoon to avoid crowds and long wait. Parking on premises. All tables have a great view to the bay. AC dining areas for your comfort. You will not be disappointed: for the seafood lover in you!!!

An excellent waterfront ding restaurant. Dining with a great view. We enjoyed the food, it was really fresh and tasty. The waitress was quick in taking our order and was very attentive. We enjoyed our meal.

Friendly staff. Although it was full, service was fast. The location is a 2-story house with beautiful views. In a way, the second floor is inconvenient for those on wheelchair or with difficulties going up the stairs. The appetizers were great. In general, the food was seasoned right. However, my lobster and fish were overcooked, and it was disappointing. The restaurant was recommended as better than other restaurants nearby, but at least on that day it was not.
