"This restaurant located in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district draws diners in with a chic, minimalist decor and exciting cuisine. In his Levantine-inspired creations, owner Gal Ben Moshe gives a nod to his Israeli roots as well as to modern European standards. Made from excellent ingredients, his interesting dishes are replete with contrasts in flavour. Beyond the fantastic gastronomic diversity on display, what really impresses here is the sense of a highly personal touch that you won't find anywhere else. To complete the picture, first-rate wines as recommended by Jacqueline Lorenz, a much-lauded sommelier and the extremely friendly lady of the house. Among the 530 wines, there are fine wines from Israel, Syria and Lebanon to be found. All wines are also available by the glass." - Michelin Inspector

"Gal Ben Moshe’s brand new venture picks up where his former restaurant, the celebrated Glass, left off. The concept is still European-meets-Levantine fine dining, but the game has been raised yet further with a more seductive—dark-toned walls, leather chairs, and low-key lighting—which allows space for the food to shine. As before, guests can choose from six, seven, or eight courses, including a wine-matching option for each; expect a series of immaculately presented taste explosions that include foie gras frozen in nitrous oxide, dukkah pulpo foul with chickpeas, and lamb served with eggplant and sour cherries. We recommend you save room for dessert."

"The menu at Prism is upscale Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food - think squash-bundled crab on wild rice or white fish with dates and labneh. There’s also an over-200-bottle wine list with options from Syria, Lebanon, and Israel, all of which are available by the glass and a surprising number of which cost around $12. There are plenty of places in the city for special occasions but Prism is the best and offers the most value for your money whether you choose the six, seven, or eight-course meal or the Prism Social, where you can share the full eight-course menu between two people." - Barbara Woolsey

We decided to try Prism due to the Levantine menu and wine from the regions. We've been to plenty Michelins and for some reason for the price point it seemed a little bit overpriced for the tastings we received. With that said, each plate was delicious and well presented. We got the wine pairing. There were 3 categories and we went with the middle category. The wines were definitely the super stars. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious but I thought the price was a little bit over which is why I gave 4 stars. I've never had veal tongue and it was welcomed surprise among other dishes. It's worth checking out for sure.

Perfectly well-thought out meal with many surprises before, between and after the meal. Lots of small bites were given and not specifically mentioned in the menu which were the surprises. The small bites were also done with much finesse and effort. The mains were all fantastic using ingredients from various parts of the world and in perfect harmony with each mouthful. Definitely deserves that One star, maybe even more.

We had one of the most incredible Heilige Abend meals here in Berlin. Besides the absolutely delectable food, the wine pairings from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan & Israel were enlightening (I only learned yesterday that Jordan produces wine) and the Sommelier's knowledge covered not only the vintification, but also the creative ways that the winemakers have continued their art & traditions through disruptions caused by war, fleeing homelands and other political strife. There were even selections from Israeli female winemakers. Their dedication to selecting wines with soul, history and a story was truly the best part of the evening. Truly one of the most mindful meals we have had a probably one of my top 3 meals, ever. Much better than recent 2 & 3 star meals we have had, for sure. I have never wanted to lick a plate more in my life. The struggle was real. I also loved the music that was played. Modern & definitely helped transport you to the scenes of the cuisines. They allow dogs, accept credit cards (even Amex) and you can tip via card. We made reservations super-easily via the Fork app, which is free & English friendly.
