We genuinely enjoyed many aspects of our stay at this hotel — the setting, the facilities, and the overall atmosphere were all in line with what you’d expect from a 5‑star property. Unfortunately, the way issues were handled let the experience down.
There were several issues during our stay which, on their own, wouldn’t have been a problem. However, each time we raised something, the response from staff was dismissive rather than helpful. This attitude was consistent from the reception team right through to the response we eventually received from the GM.
At no point did staff take genuine accountability or acknowledge how these situations were managed. Even after raising concerns directly with management, the response lacked sincerity and failed to address the core issue: the consistent lack of customer care.
While the hotel itself has a lot to offer, the handling of issues left us feeling more frustrated than valued — something that should never be the case at this level.
