When you're ready to order, you can go up to the register and place your order. There are plenty of registers to take multiple orders. There are two different lines, one for a to-go order and the other to eat inside the restaurant. We opted to eat inside Phil's BBQ. The team member had asked if it was our first time at the restaurant. When we told the team member it was, she provided us with Phil's BBQ stickers!
We had ordered the following
Baby Back Rib Dinner (Full Rib Dinner 10 to 12 Bones) with the two small sides of Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad.
Giant Pretzel, served with cheese and ranch sauce.
Colossal Onion Rings (7)
After we placed the order, the team member provided us with a puck. You can choose your own table to sit at. There are certain booths reserved for a minimum party size of 6.
There are a few self-service soda fountain machines inside Phil's BBQ. After we selected our seat, we filled up our drinks and waited for our order. A team member provided us with two plates for the meal.
After waiting about 20 minutes, the buzzer went off. We went up to the register and picked up our order!
I was so excited to eat the baby back ribs. It's been awhile since I've had baby back ribs! When I took the first bite, I could taste the pepper on the meat and the sweet BBQ sauce, however, the food was cold! I was surprised that all of the baby back ribs were cold. I'm not sure if the food was waiting for the Pretzel and the Onion rings to finish cooking and was on the plate.
The Onion rings were amazing! The beer batter was scrumptious! This was the best dish at Phil's BBQ. The onions stayed inside the Fried batter after you took each bite!
I would not order the Pretzel again. It lacked salt. The Pretzel was also bland and slightly overcooked.
The price wasn't too expensive for all of the food, less than $60.00. If I stopped by Phil's BBQ again, I would try out one of their sandwiches or their BBQ chicken.
