"The second location of one of LA’s best pasta spots, Pasta Sisters in Culver City might be even better than the original—mainly because it’s the one where you can drink wine on a patio. Most of the bowls are build-your-own, meaning you get to choose the type of pasta and sauce (except for the clams and garlic, which they’ll only serve with spaghetti). Our favorites are the pesto with tagliatelle and bolognese with pappardelle, but when you’ve got freshly made pasta and sauces this good, you really can’t go wrong." - jess basser sanders, brant cox, sylvio martins, arden shore
"Can West Adams claim one of the best pasta shops in Los Angeles? You'll have to visit to decide for yourself! Pasta Sisters is a family-run operation that opened its doors in 2015...and yes, there are actual sisters involved. You can pick from a variety of fresh-made pasta and choose your favorite authentic Italian sauce to customize a plate, or simply go with one of their daily specials. Either way, you won’t be disappointed. There’s also a small deli with baked sweets, and cheeses and cold cuts shipped in from across the regions of Italy." - Ben Loiz Studio
"Famous for its pasta dishes, frequently visited by Elina Shatkin." - Eater Staff
"Pasta Sisters’ second location in Culver City is similar to the original in that you have to order at the counter - but this place is pretty different otherwise. The space is massive (with two separate dining rooms and patios), there’s an expanded menu (you’re going to want that beef stew with polenta), and they even have a liquor license. That last bit may be especially important right now, since you’re about to see your ninth superhero film of the year and the first eight didn’t entertain you." - brant cox
"With locations in Pico-Arlington near the 10 and Culver City near the 405, there’s a good chance that wherever you are, you’re not too far from Pasta Sisters. Which is a very good thing, because no matter what kind of sauce and pasta you’re in the mood for you - spaghetti, linguini, pappardelle, Bolognese, arrabiata, tomato and basil - they serve it, and most likely for under $14. Eating this pasta is like curling up in a blanket and watching your favorite Parks & Rec episode, which, conveniently enough, you can do while you wait for delivery." - brett keating
