"You'd know a Papier Tigre notebook (or envelope or calendar or day planner) if you saw one. They're all distinctly colorful and geometric and always totally utilitarian. Another bonus of buying paper goods in bulk to hand out to friends back home? They don't take up much suitcase space at all, and they make recipients giddy with glee. "

My wife and I visited in March of 2025. This is both shop and workroom decorated in modern retail style, where we bought gifts for our would-be artist grandaughter and some unique notebooks for ourselves. Wonderful staff who tolerated my poor french with humor and grace 🙂. Not too far from the Picasso Museum, so easy to visit if you're there. Recommended!

A delightful spot offering a range of French and Japanese paperware. Items such as pens, booklets, notebooks, postcards and many many more stationary stuff are yours to discover at the Papier Tigre. They have an in-house atelier that produces some articles too, but I’m not sure which those are.

Beautiful store with lots of paper offerings... I love notebooks and paper so I selected many items for myself but also some to make beautiful gifts. The souvenir items have more subtle representations of Paris and I love that. The attendant was helpful and even wrapped my gift selections. Check it out if you love to write - or if you need a calendar, notebooks, writing tools, or lists! MERCI beaucoup!

Yelp
this was my absolute fave gift/stationary shop in all of Paris. Just recently saw some of their items at Anthropologie in the states- I hope they don't get too big as they are perfect just the way they are now. Lots of really clean design, pricepoints are manageable, staff seems ultra cool but not in a snobby way.

Yelp
We were walking down one of Paris' many streets and we stumbled upon Papier Tigre. Not much to look at from the outside, but on the inside is a stationery person's dream. There are all these little cute binders, notebooks, pins, pens, desk lamps. Although a small store, I could have spent at least 30-45 min in there just perusing their goods. I ended up getting a beautiful journal with a "pen band" to hold the pens I would use with the journal. I also got a rotating calendar that shows the fruits and vegetables that are in season at the time. There was a beautiful desk lamp in the shape of a book that turns on when you open it and turns off when it's closed. So beautiful. Their products remind me of similar things you might find in a Japanese stationery store. You want to know what the best part was? They gave us a reusable bag after our purchase to carry our items!

Yelp
I only knew of this shop over on a photo sharing app and never got around to finding out where this shop was located. I just really loved seeing all the adorable stationery they uploaded and was quite satisfied at that. One day as I was walking along rue des Filles du Calvaire with a colleague, I recognized their tiger mascot and had an "ah hah!" moment. It didn't take me 2 blinks to consider going inside. I was just looking for some gifts for birthday presents and this shop was perfect. Obviously stationery is their specialty but they also had chic soaps, scent pouches and cheeky patches. I did find some things for my friends but I admit, most of my purchases was for me. 90 Euros later.... And this was after I edited items out of my clutches. I'm already itching to go back to satisfy my love for notebooks, notecards, and such.

Yelp
Located on a little side street...and easy to miss as you walk by. Featuring well designed paper (and related) goods, you'll want to go over everything they have. It's like a group of young, hip, design students decided to open a shop. Great for gifts, good prices. You will be back.

Yelp
I bookmarked this place based off of Anne Ditmeyer's 24 Hours in Paris guide. Our Airbnb was within walking distance so we set off in this general location upon arriving. First off, I LOVE stationary. I walked around Paris with a Midori Travelers Notebook, always looking for cool papers to stick in it. Papier Tigre did not disappoint! My sister got a constellation wall hanging and I got some really great smelling satchets. So no stationary. But, I did get a cool business card to stick into my travel journal. It's a cool store to stop by if you're in the area (the area is really cool btw).
