Dining at Oniku Karyu was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Chef Haruka-san was incredibly warm and personal, taking the time to explain each dish, the ingredients, and even the rich history behind the exquisite Wagyu we were served. His attention to detail and passion for his craft truly elevated the evening and made my birthday celebration feel incredibly special.
The staff were equally attentive and gracious, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout the night. The restaurant itself has an intimate and elegant setting, perfect for savoring each moment and each bite.
Every course was masterfully prepared, and the wine pairing complemented the flavors beautifully — each sip enhancing the depth and character of the dishes. The Wagyu was, without question, the best quality meat I’ve ever tasted — tender, rich, and presented with artistry and care.
Oniku Karyu is a true gem, a place I will return to every time I visit Japan. Highly recommended for anyone who values exceptional food, craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality.
