Nestled in Silver Lake, Night + Market Song serves up a vibrant array of spicy Northern Thai street food in a casual, kitschy setting that's always buzzing with energy.
"This West Hollywood original has become one of the most recognizable restaurants in the city with locations in both Silver Lake (Song) and Venice (Sahm). One could argue that the crispy rice salad and fried chicken sandwich are the signature dishes here - and they might be right - but the khao soi needs to be in the conversation. N+M actually has two versions on their menu, the mushroom and tofu-filled khao soi jay and the khao soi neaua, which comes with braised short rib. Both are excellent, but we prefer the khao soi jay as its umami flavor matches up perfectly with the dark and earthy broth. That said, go for the version with the tender braised short rib if you’re looking for something a bit more savory." - brant cox, nikko duren
"Night + Market, famous for its Thai street food, was another highlighted venue at The Bear’s premiere." - Ashok Selvam
"Night + Market Song is the second location for owner / chef Kris Yenbamroong. Different from their original WeHo spot, Song keeps their casual vibe but cooks up unapologetic spicy Northern Thai cuisine. A food adventure awaits here for Thai cuisine beginners and Thai food veterans. It's like fireworks for your mouth! (Lunch menu photo: Thai Boxing Chicken + Grapow Khai Dow)" - Presshaus LA
"Night + Market’s three locations (Silver Lake, Weho, and Venice) will all offer what they’re calling a Thai-Chinese-American Christmas Eve feast, that includes dim sum with salmon caviar, roast duck spring roll, pineapple shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, and more for $60 per person (minimum two). They’ve also got a vegan option. Order online for 12/24 pick-up." - brett keating
"The second location of the massively popular Thai restaurant might not have the part-time setting and beer towers like its original Sunset Strip locale, but its kitschy feel is the perfect match for Silver Lake. This is some of the finest Thai food in the city, in a casual setting suited for almost anything, just be sure to order the larb and plenty of natural wine to wash it all down." - brant cox, nikko duren, sylvio martins
