Excellent location with a great view of the roofs of Zürich's industrial harbor district. Very cohesive and modern design with a wide variety of drinks to chose from. The staff is attentive and you will rarely find yourself left with an empty glass for more than a minute

Small and modern bar with a great panorama view. Still a secret place which makes it a good after work drink place. If you're lucky there will be a concert downstairs at moods or even a theater play to visit.

A mediocre bar. The drinks are expensive and bad, but the view of the city at night is gorgeous! The bar is in a glass container that sees through. A convenient place to visit if you are already in Schiffbau checking out a concert at Moods or a theater piece with the Zürcher Schauspiel Haus. I’d recommend this place if you don’t care what you drink, as long as it’s alcohol.

Located in the heart of trendy Zurich West, the Nietturm Bar sits on top of the Schiffbau building (with the fancy La Salle restaurant). Although it has two levels, the bar is relatively small, so it will look and feel packed very fast. Service is mediocre, prices high - taking advantage of the location. The view disappointed me: I had expected to see more of the city. The audience reveals that this is not a really trendy place (any more): mostly young, mixed, some agglo folks. Nevertheless, this can be a nice step as you drink your way through the neighborhood. Just don't expect it will be the highlight of the night.
