4.5/5 I think the overall experience was quite good, and the service was particularly polite. They arranged a very nice table for us. The steak tartare was quite tasty, although the rice crackers on top were a bit too hard, which made the texture slightly jarring. However, it was still acceptable overall, as the beef was fresh and had a nice chewiness.
The scallop prawn roll was also delicious—it was freshly fried, with plenty of prawns inside, which was very satisfying. The nasi goreng was quite good as well; although the prawn crackers on the side weren’t crispy, the fried rice itself had a nice texture. I think the prawn crackers could be improved next time since traditional prawn crackers should be crunchy.
The stir-fried water spinach was decent overall, but it got a bit salty toward the end. The sparkling lychee drink was very refreshing; although it was quite sweet, it was still much better than cocktails at other restaurants.
I think this restaurant stands out in terms of both flavor and service in Sydney's CBD. In recent years, the economy has been tough, and the quality of many CBD restaurants has declined significantly. However, we were very satisfied with our meal here today. I hope they maintain this standard and continue to improve.
