"For those looking for a laid-back yet high-end residential hotel experience in NYC, the quieter neighborhood and vibe of 33 Hotel fits the bill. The service is white-glove, the river and skyline views are spectacular, and the Italian food and wine is refined."

"Old World meets New York at this downtown hotel, complete with views of the Brooklyn Bridge, East River, and New York City skyline. The overall look here is contemporary elegance, and you’ll find plenty of it in the 66 well-sized rooms (with details like marble bathrooms, soft natural light, and plush textures). For some private outdoor space, book one of the Premier Seaport King Terrace or Premier Front Street King Terrace rooms, which are located on the sixth and seventh floors and have furnished verandas. The hotel is also home to recently opened Urban Cove Society & Kitchen, which faces the cobblestone-lined Peck Slip and offers a casual yet refined dining room, bar, and outdoor seasonal patio. Visit for dinner or weekend brunch for modern American cuisine with global twists, paying homage to the rich tapestry of cultures of downtown New York." - John Wogan, Nicole Schnitzler, CNT Editors, Sandra Ramani

"The constantly evolving Seaport District just got even cooler with the opening of Mr. C Seaport, the firstNew York City hotel from Maggio and Ignazio Cipriani. An intimate 66 rooms make up the seven-floor property, each one showcasing a rain shower, 50-inch interactive 4K television, and fine Italian linens by Casa Rovea. Timeless luxury is the goal here, evident in the rich textures, classic color schemes, and thoughtful collection of handmade Italian furniture. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted with an on-the-house Bellini, a gesture that pays homage to the classic cocktail created by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1948. It’s also a nod to the hotel’s restaurant Bellini, which offers an array of rustic Italian dishes (think lasagna Bolognese and bucatini cacio e pepe ). When guests feel like venturing beyond hotel limits, they have a couple of options for wheels: a fleet of 2018 Lincoln Navigators for rides within 15 blocks, and a custom collection of Mr. C Seaport bicycles by Fourth Floor Distribution."

"Why book? Old World meets New York at this downtown hotel, where modern European hospitality and refined Italian fare are served in a setting that’s unmistakably NYC—complete with views of the Brooklyn Bridge. Set the scene: Visitors who’d rather be somewhere neighborhood-y than touristy, the expense account set needing to be close to downtownm, and fans of the Cipriani brand—which oversees the Mr. C hotels—can all be found sipping their complimentary-upon-arrival Bellinis at this quiet hideaway in the Seaport area. As one of the few Leading Hotels of the World member hotels in New York City, the hotel also appeals to travelers looking for a five-star experience that’s a little more boutique and intimate than you might find at a bigger brand-name spot. The backstory: Conceptualized by Maggio and Ignazio Cipriani, the fourth generation of the noted restaurant and bar family, the Mr. C brand launched first in Beverly Hills before opening this outpost 2018; there’s now also a third hotel in Coconut Grove, Florida. At the time of this hotel’s opening, the historic Seaport district of downtown Manhattan was well into a planned (and still somewhat ongoing) revitalization, and the arrival of a high-end hotel—set in what was once a Best Western—was seen as further proof that the neighborhood was evolving. The rooms: The overall look here is modern Italian elegance, and you’ll find plenty of that in the 66 well-sized rooms, from the gleaming polished teak accents and sedate color palette to the La Bottega bath products and made-in-Italy linens and furniture. All also have 55-inch 4K HD TVs with Chromecast, so you can continue your latest binge watch, and many have views of the Brooklyn Bridge, East River, or Financial District skyscrapers. For some private outdoor space, book one of the Premier Peck Slip King Terrace or Premier Front Street King Terrace rooms, which are located on the sixth and seventh floors and have furnished verandas, or upgrade to a corner Signature Suite or the Mr. C Suite, both of which have expansive wrap-around terraces looking east to the river. Some rooms do get steady street noise, so bring that up at check-in if you’re a light sleeper. Food and drink: Sip Italian wine and spirits in the chic bar or the lobby lounge, which also serve light bites, or savor something more substantial at the signature Bellini restaurant, which focuses on Italian classics presented with a lighter touch. There’s a selection of crudo, shareable cheese-and-charcuterie boards, lunchtime sandwiches (including a burger), lots of seafood, and, of course, favorites like bucatini cacio e pepe. In-room dining is also available. The spa: There’s no spa, but the gym is stocked with the latest equipment from—what else?—Italian brand Technogym. The neighborhood/area: It’s a short walk to Pier 17, home of performance venues and a range of restaurants and bars, and to the Brooklyn Bridge, if you’re up for a stroll over to another borough. Or head west to find City Hall, the Financial District and—a bit further along—the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and Brookfield Place. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the nearest subway. The service: While the setting may feel formal, the service is more “white glove-with-warmth;” it’s definitely geared towards a refined clientele, but with less formality than you’d find at a grande dame hotel. For families: It pays to a be a kid here, as younger guests are treated to amenities from the Little C program. These include teddy bears, coloring books, bath and body products from The Honest Company and homemade cookies topped with Nutella. Accessibility: A wide range of accessibility features have been implemented in the ADA rooms, from roll-in showers and AV-equipped doorbells for the hearing impaired to widened doorways and lowered sinks.  Anything left to mention? Complimentary house cars are available on a first-come, first-served basis to ferry guests within 20 blocks of the hotel—a particularly welcome service on a windy or snowy day." - Sandra Ramani

We had an incredible pet friendly experience for a long weekend with our Golden Retriever in the Seaport. Great location with good access to the subway. The staff were all super helpful, friendly and accommodating. Tommy and Chris provided the absolute best bell service. The bar was very relaxing and had wonderful cocktails with superb bar staff which we enjoyed before dinner every evening. Our front street king was very clean with great amenities and good storage. We can't say enough great things about this hotel. Can't wait to go back!

Cute boutique spot! Staying so south in NYC can be limiting but it was nice to change it up. I was here in Seaport for an event and it was a good location. It was pretty unfortunate the AC wasn’t working in my room and in multiple rooms. Not a huge deal to me but I know multiple people complained I didn’t want to bother them. I did unfortunately receive feedback that the front desk staff was super dismissive of peoples AC issues so that’s unfortunate. I must say Chris the concierge is one of the most fantastic employees at a lodging place I have ever seen. Please give him a raise. He was so friendly and chatty and you’re just not used to it in NYC! He went above and beyond to help not just me but everyone I saw at the hotel. He made the rough experience with the AC completely ok to me and I would be willing to come back because of his service. If management reads this please give him a raise ;)

So much potential. Huge rooms for NYC. Lovely staff. Nice location. Terrible old, saggy mattress. Huge, yet poorly designed bathroom with 3” counter space and feet of wasted wall space that could have been a counter. Could have had cabinet or shelves under or next to sink. Not a single hook in the bathroom. I wanted to like this hotel so much but too many practical problems.

Super amazing hotel! We stayed for 4 nights and loved every second of it. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Chris and Isaiah, they made the trip very comfortable, greeted us everyday, and provided amazing recommendation for food spots. Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in the junior suite and had an amazing few of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline! Water pressure was amazing and super hot. Bathroom was beautiful. Bed was very comfortable. Overall, had a great time at 33 Hotel and already planning a trip back!

Wow, what an unforgettable stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality and the prime location. Our room was absolutely spectacular – it featured a huge patio with a breathtaking view of the East River and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the stunning cityscape. The area around the hotel is packed with things to do. We loved the convenience of having boat rides and ferries just a block away, making it easy to explore the city from a different perspective. Whether you're into sightseeing or just enjoying the waterfront, there's something for everyone. A special shoutout to Chris, who truly made our stay extra special. His polished, friendly, and genuine focus on ensuring guests have a great time was evident from the start. Chris went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to our every need with such grace and professionalism. Overall, our experience at the 33 Hotel was top-notch. We can’t wait to return and enjoy more of what this fantastic hotel and its wonderful staff have to offer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay in NYC!

Google
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 33 Hotel. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary, me finally graduating from college (Go Tigers!), and visiting relatives in Brooklyn and Harlem. The hotel is very close to the waterfront. We got to the hotel a little early and had to wait a little longer than usual to check in, which was no big deal for us. We had cocktails while we waited (espresso martini was excellent). Later, we were comped a bottle of champagne along with a note apologizing for the delay. It was very unexpected and a wonderful way to start off our vacation! The front desk and bar staff were great and always willing to help. Chris (concierge?) was especially friendly, went the extra mile to help, offered great suggestions about where to go, and was always in a good mood. The room was top-notch and and the views of the cityscape and Brooklyn Bridge were and there is a restaurant (Urban Cove Society & Kitchen ) adjacent to the hotel, which was very convenient to get quality room service offerings and a quick breakfast, lunch or late dinner. There are unlimited areas within walking distance for coffee, great pastries, restaurants, bars, and small businesses that sell unique products. Two places that were a pleasure to visit nearby were the Fulton Stall Market, Tin Building, and so many more. You could spend several days just walking around and finding hidden treasures within a few blocks of the hotel! Our stay was all that and more. Superb, wonderful, and relaxing are only a few adjectives that still do not do justice to the experience. We look forward to returning later this year and highly recommend this gem of a hotel for a very relaxing stay.

The location is perfect, right by the waterfront, offering a calm and scenic escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet still close to major attractions. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and beautifully designed. My room had a stylish, cozy vibe, with a great view of the Seaport district. The staff were attentive and welcoming, ensuring my stay was comfortable. Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay in NYC. Highly recommend!

This hotel is absolutely worth every penny! The views of the Brooklyn bridge are amazing, the rooms are update and very nice with comfortable beds and the rain showers are perfect after walking NYC all day! I can’t recommend this hotel enough! Worth every penny!!!

Yelp
Had a great experience at this hotel! Surprised the gf with a staycation night stay here. The room was clean with spacious bathroom with a nice Infiniti shower-head (nice touch). We got the king size bed and it was pretty comfy! Best about this hotel is the location in the seaport. So many restaurants and bars you can check out in seaport area! We had dinner right at the port (carne mare) which was 5 min walk. We washed it down with drinks at the hers down the block. Overall 5 stars for this hotel and location and the staff were very nice!

Yelp
Very fortunate for being invited here. Had a lovely trip! Extremely helpful front desk. Beautiful location and room, extremely modern and clean. Delicious food from the downstairs restaurant.

Yelp
Had a fabulous time at the Alcove restaurant with some friends, fantastic chef, food was outstanding, Ernesto and his crew were outstanding, we picked up the deal from Groupon for a get together encounter, we were grand fully surprised, we will come back for sure

Yelp
Stayed here this weekend. There was an awful mold problem in my room. It's a health hazard to guests and their pets in a "pet friendly" hotel. They try to charge you for the damage with no before and after pictures. Who takes pictures of a hotel room when they check in? Also this is clear mold and water damage; a health hazard. Don't stay here unless you expect to pay 2x your price in fees and false incidental claims while the GM doesn't even know how to answer guest questions.

Amber R.

Yelp
I stayed at Hotel 33 with my husband and son for three nights in July. We arrived early at 6 am and the staff promptly took our bags while we explored, and we were able to get early check-in at noon for $75. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and quiet and the room size was quite large for NYC standards - Queen sized beds!? The hotel is a short 10-minute walk to the nearest subway and the financial district. The location was great for dining, especially the Tin Building food hall. If you're comfortable being a bit removed from some of the more tourist-y locations, would definitely recommend.

Matthew S.

Yelp
Was a pleasant stay until they started blaming my pet for mold damage. They charged my card $400 and sent this picture saying my cat did it. All I see here is clear water damage with mold. That's a health hazard. I wouldn't stay here again unless you want this "pet friendly" hotel to try to blame their mold problem on your pet then charge you the cost of an entire night. I tried contacting their hotel by email and phone and they would not respond. Again, I wouldn't stay here again if they are going to blame pets for damage then send proof of a mold problem. You can see from the picture (that their own staff took) that the wallpaper has no scratch/bite marks and looks just like its peeled back to reveal mold. They already charge an extra $75/night for your pet but rest assured they will likely give you a mold infested one like this one to get you to pay for repairs to their hotel A very unprofessional managed hotel if they are going to reveal their own health-hazard mold damage then try to make you pay for the repairs.

Yelp
I was looking for a hotel close to where my Dad lives. I knew nothing about this hotel, I booked a room for 4 nights. Not only is it a cute boutique hotel, it's in a great location. South Street Seaport area is so nice, it's quiet and right next to the water and the Brooklyn Bridge, the hotel bar is great looking as well and I cannot say enough about the friendly staff. My room had the most amazing bathroom, it was huge and clean and bright. And I had a terrace with such a great view. I will stay at this hotel from now on when visiting NYC.

Yelp
We stayed for the weekend after being at a different hotel near Times Square. 33 Seaport definitely has a quiter vibe than the lively Times Square area, and it was a really nice change of pace for the weekend. We were warmly greeted right as we entered. Once we got to our room, it was clean and very spacious. There were some snacks at the mini bar and a nice pour over coffee setup. The bed was very comfortable and we definitely got a good nights sleep. We ordered room service for breakfast twice, which was good, although the second day we ordered the breakfast sandwich, they switched from brioche buns to regular sandwich bread. The muffins were all stuffed and were really good. The location is really close to the water, which we took advantage of for some nice photos at night. There are also quite a few restaurants within close walking distance, a bar across the street, and a pretty good pizza spot a couple blocks away. It's also about a 10-minute walk from the subway, so it's pretty convenient. I really liked this hotel and would definitely recommend staying here if you want a bit of quiet at night compared to the hustle and bustle of Times Square area.

G B.

Yelp
Great location, nice rooms with balconies. I would have left a better review but the night we stayed a group of twenty something's were partying until 2am and the hotel staff did little to nothing to stop them after repeatedly calling the front desk. As a paying guest I have the same rights as the person next door so it is the responsibility of the hotel to ensure the comfort of each room.

Natalie S.

Yelp
I just stayed at 33 Seaport Hotel for my anniversary and had the most amazing experience. I went to grab food and came back with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a lovely note. Our room was fantastic.

Yelp
Ever since 2022 when my son , daughter- in- law and new grandson moved within 2 blocks of 33 Seaport, we have enjoyed staying at the hotel 4 separate occassions. During each of those visits our entire family got to know Peter and his team to the point that "33 Seaport" has become our ," home away from home!!" So much so that when I decided to propose to my girlfriend, my first call was to Peter to help me devise a plan that would surprise her on our most recent trip to NYC. He suggested the suite with a picturesque nighttime view, plus he arranged rose petals leading down the hallway, throughout the room culminating into the shape of a heart on the bed made the perfect setting to ask her to marry me. Peter and the staff's attention to detail helped to create a cherished lifelong memory for us both. We truly appreciate the warm atmosphere, convenient location, delicious restaurant and the exceptional service provided by 33 Seaport. We eagerly anticipate our next visit along with new memories we'll create in this wonderful establishment. If you are looking for not just a place to stay, but a place to feel like you belong, this is it. - Ken B.

Yelp
January 2023 Early in the year, I stayed one night at the Hotel in a Superior Room. With Amex Platinum benefits, I received daily breakfast for 2, late checkout (2pm), a $100 dining credit, and a welcome drink at the bar (I did not use). *** Important FYI for Room Service/ Amex If you chose to use room service to take advantage of your dining credit, be aware that a 20% tip is automatically added. Location: I enjoy staying in FiDi and find this location to be great! Check-in / Room: Check-in was easy and the room was very appealing to a younger person like myself. Very romantic/ intimate vibe. See Photo Dining: I used my $100 dining credit for a room service dinner. The food was high quality and came quickly. See Photo I did have to call to ask for a menu to be brought to my room. Overall: My stay was brief but I enjoyed my time at the hotel. It gives a very boutique and 'sexy' feel. I would stay again.

John P.

Yelp
This is an amazing, small boutique hotel. Booked at the last minute and challenging NYC weather..... Miriam was really helpful and wonderful at the front desk, even giving me a room slightly early to accommodate a work call. The entire bar and restaurant staff were incredible too. Highly recommend.

Stewart L.

Yelp
I often like to split my New York visits between downtown and uptown hotels, and decided to try this newish hotel for this trip . It well located between the East River (South Street Seaport-adjacent, under the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge) and the Financial District. A major subway stop (Fulton St.) and the World Trade Center are easily walkable. Mr. C is a collection of 3 boutique hotels started by fourth generation members of the Cipriani family. Outward-facing rooms/suites face either Front St, (with higher-floor rooms getting views of the Brooklyn Bridge), or Peck Slip, a quaint cobblestone street with a wide pedestrian park-like swath down its middle. The least expensive rooms had "courtyard" views. My Peck Slip-view room was smallish and narrow, but nicely designed. The hotel uses a lot of lacquered teak veneer throughout its public rooms and guest rooms, evoking a nautical vibe. There were lots of fixings for cocktail-making and drinking, plus wine and branded souvenirs. Liked the electrical outlet and USB port availability and locations. The single window let in a lot of natural light. The bathroom had 2 sinks, an enclosed WC, and shower with rain and hand-holdable heads. I did not find the mattress particularly comfortable. There were some minor glitches with the telephone. Two complimentary Bellinis (a Cipriani signature cocktail) were delivered. The hotel's restaurant is also called Bellini. It has a smallish indoor dining room and intimate bar area, plus a nicely set up outdoor space along the sidewalk. I had dinner here one night. The indoor ambiance were great, as was the Mr. C cocktail. Service was attentive, although not everyone was familiar with the menu. The food was okay-- the breading on my Fritto di Gamberi was a little heavy, my Veal Piccatine a little tough, the accompanying rice pilaf undercooked. I also ordered breakfast twice from the restaurant; it is only available through In-Room Dining. The frittata was okay, but the French toast and Canadian bacon were good. I found it odd when ordering that my room number did not come up automatically on the phone, they had to ask for it. The restaurant staff is also does the room service delivery. There is a lobby lounge and another bar adjacent to the front desk. I don't know if drinks are nibbles are served here. It was closed for a noisy private event my first night (luckily ended by 11 pm) and not staffed my second night. Housekeeping and front desk service was great. Kudos to Mohammed at reception. Overall a pleasant stay. I found the location nicer than staying smack dab in the middle of the Financial District. South Street Seaport and the immediate vicinity have a lot of dining options, including Jean-Georges Vongerichten's The Fulton and David Chang's recently relocated Momofuku Ssam Bar.

Kevin H.

Yelp
I was extremely excited to stay at Mr. C Seaport because of its reputation. I booked through Amex's fine hotel + resorts so I received an abundance of benefits which included $200 of credit against the price of the room. After the credit, the price of the room was still over $200 for one night. The staff at Mr. C Seaport were nothing short of exceptional. Every employee I encountered during my stay was smiling and always ready to help. My room was also clean and comfortable. However, I believe these are the standards for hotels. I have received the same level of satisfaction with the staff and room at hotels at a fraction of the price Mr. C Seaport charges. From a luxury hotel at this price, I'd expect great amenities. The only amenity I was able to utilize was their gym and it was far from what you would expect at a luxury hotel. The gym was smaller than the size of my room. It only had 2 treadmills, an adjustable pulley machine, dumbells, and a few weighted exercise balls. Other than the lackluster gym, I was not aware of any other amenities. While the room I was given was comfortable, the view was subpar. I also dined at Bellini, the connected restaurant, and I will post a separate review for that. I would not recommend dining at Bellini. TLDR- Great staff and comfortable rooms. Great for experiencing the seaport of Manhattan. I would not recommend Mr. C Seaport because I do not believe the price justifies the experience.

Yelp
We went to a private event at 33 Hotel and the service and catering was exceptional. The food was perfect and creative. The room and view was amazing. Highly recommend for any events or just to stay at the hotel.

Natalie C.

Yelp
Classy, beautiful hotel with a fantastic view of the Brooklyn bridge. Great area (Seaport) that's close to many shops and restaurants. The gym was only big enough for one person (and if you're tall, don't bother. The ceiling is very low.). The staff was super kind and attentive as well. Very excited to come back!

Kelsey D.

Yelp
Had an amazing stay! Peter and Tommy were amazing, friendly, and accommodating (as were all of the other staff)! Nice hotel, great location, beautiful views! Exactly what I needed for a night away. Will definitely be back soon

Jessica T.

Yelp
I enjoyed the stay as it was in a great location. The hotel is close to the seaport, which has various activities in and of itself (i.e., the market, the Carne Marie restaurant, skating, walking, street vendors, etc.). The hotel is within walking distance from the NYC Ferry and the A train, in addition to other trains. The area is also busy so it is easy to find a cab that will come to you within five (5) minutes or less. As for the hotel, the view was great! My partner and I got accommodated on the seventh (7) floor, which is the last floor. We were able to get a view of the Brooklyn skyline near dumbo. The room was spacious with a lot of storage space if you are like me and like to unpack while traveling. The room was also very clean. However, the bathroom sink was clogged in my room upon arrival and the water pressure in the shower was not to my liking. The water pressure was very low. The hotel staff are friendly and respond rapidly. There is the option of dining in the hotel dining area or getting room service. I ordered room service for breakfast twice and received my food, coffee, and tea within 30 minutes of ordering. The food was fresh and the tea's natural. For food, I tried the steak, mushroom risotto, salmon Benedict, rib Benedict, and the 3 eggs bacon and muffin. I enjoyed their breakfast options more than their dinner options. As their breakfast was tasty while their dinner was either lacking in flavor or too salty. Also, some of their dinner options, such as the steak, did not come with any sides. It was just a steak on a plate and nothing else. I do not particularly enjoy eating solely meat as a meal. That's why breakfast was my preference! The hotel also has a fitness center. The fitness center is small but it has everything an athletic/health-conscious person would need for an impactful workout, such as a smith machine, treadmills, weights, and yoga mats. The fitness center also had complimentary towels and Lysol wipes to help keep the area and equipment sanitary. I would stay here again while in the downtown NYC area without a doubt!

Yelp
OUTSTANDING customer service! We checked in about 15 minutes after the kitchen closed (9:15pm.) While asking the front desk, where we could get something to eat at this time of night, Executive Chef Milan, came out and asked us what we wanted to eat. He said he's cool is what ever we'd like. I asked him what the easiest thing for him to make and he said "what ever you'd like." I asked if they had grill chicken and he replied with, "got it!" A little bit later, the front desk knocked on my door and presented me with a grilled chicken sandwich, mashed potatoes, and other little things. The food was amazing! And the eagerness to accommodate us (guest,) was top notch! To add to it, it was Chef Milan's first day at the hotel. He didn't let that stop him. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! And let's not talk about breakfast! Great service and awesome food!

Yelp
The reviews regarding customer service and especially the reviews mentioning mold are concerning. I hope NYC health inspectors can verify if guests can safely stay there and not get sick.

Angelina B.

Yelp
If you are comfortable having items stolen out of your guest room with management not taking this theft by an employee seriously then this is the hotel for you. The mini bar employee quit directly after the theft of my fine jewelry. He was seen on camera going into my guest room. The GM appeared concerned at the beginning so I made a claim with the hotel insurance company but after a month of waiting, the insurance adjuster and Gary DeSoiza (Hotel GM) are ignoring my emails. There are many other options for accommodation in NYC where your belongings will not get stolen.

Akash J.

Yelp
While the Seaport location is wonderful and the rooms are quite cozy, I was left woefully disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I had booked travel using the American Express Fine Hotel program. Normally, breakfast and an experience credit are provided, but unfortunately after being told there would be croissants and coffee available for pickup, they were unable to offer any breakfast as the restaurant was changing management. The front desk staff was highly variable, but overall the management was poor and difficult to deal with. I was told this was due to the hotel changing ownership, which occurred mid-stay and without prior notice. Having spent over a grand for a three day stay on my anniversary, I was extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend staying here in the future.

N C.

Yelp
Lovely staycation to celebrate a big birthday. William at the front desk is not only a gem of a human being but will ensure you are taken care of from arrival to departure. Huge, huge fan of the customer service here. We did before dinner cocktails that we brought up to sip on our balcony --- highly recommend you ask the bartender for a spin on your favorite, in our case it was an old fashion with a twist. We also did room service breakfast and recommend the well-sized cappuccino and strawberry smoothie to get your day going.

Yelp
This adorable hotel was well-appointed and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, with Aveda toiletries, personal care kit, robes and slippers. The view of the Hudson and Brooklyn Bridge was great, and there were lots of restaurants and shops nearby. They now have their liquor license, so fully up and running! We will definitely stay again.

Yelp
Super cute boutique hotel!! We booked our room on hotels.com as a one night getaway and it was great. The location is GREAT!! It was right off the FDR and they have valet parking which was really convenient. It's surrounded by restaurants and walking distance to ground zero and Century 21 and the shops. The ONLY cons were the ceiling height and the view. My husband is 6"6' and he wasn't too far from the ceiling. The views were of surrounding buildings - no view at all. My guess is the standard rooms dont have views. The hotel itself is gorgeous, very modern inside LOVE the furniture and finishes. I would definitely go back but maybe splurge for a suite!

Yelp
Great for location and restaurant attached (Bellini) is great. Front desk and all staff are incredibly nice. I'd say not worth it for quality. My hallway reeked of smoke (6th floor), noise carried, random uncleanly marks around room and water fountain pressure in gym doesn't work but don't worry.. you can go to your room for $11 water bottle!

Yelp
Joanne has terrible customer service. Very rude and not accommodating. I made a reservation and she claimed the rooms were full although the app says other wise. I will definitely take this to corporate. She does not need to work in an atmosphere that has customer service. She is nasty distasteful and bald and miserable. Please hire new staff. I have traveled and visited Mr. C on many locations and have never been met with such horrid service !!!!!

Yelp
I stayed there with my toddler in April. Staff was nice, but the room had the worst view ever, it was terrible, especially for the price that you pay there! I emailed and asked in advance for the photos of the room but they said they did not have it. Very disappointing, NONE of the pictures that they have on the website show that view !! I was expecting a room at least with a street view or something , because thats what it showed.

Yelp
Known as Bellini restaurant revieFrom the minute we walked in to the minute we left this super cozy elegant experience was amazing we ordered the Crudo excellent lasagna fabulous veal scallopini perfectly cooked Tiarmasu one of the best wines fantastic service spectacular for a place only been open a week worth every penny and you spend plenty of them .. if you don't order the truffle pasta you're crazy.

Yelp
Absolutely 5 star, no question! Quality, luxury, and impressive service. Waterfront with amazing views. An Oasis in lower Manhattan

Yelp
Boutique hotel with excellent service and very good Italian food, better than most restaurants I've been to. I like the extensive minibar! The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are also very clean.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel filled with friendly staff, prompt room service and mouth-watering bellinis. Definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else if you're prioritizing quality and comfort.

Yelp
I stayed with my wife for her 30th birthday for a weekend. Our stay has been absolutely phenomenal. Peter, the Front Office Supervisor, upgraded us to a room with a terrace. We are extremely thankful for their hospitality and service. The view was spectacular and they even sent us a slice of cake as a service to our delight along with a personalized letter. The little things like that made our stay so special and welcome. We also ate the food at Bellini for lunch and it was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and hope to be back soon. All the workers were so friendly and accommodating. The room had everything we needed and we were very pleased. We could not ask for a better stay.

Yelp
Truly an exceptional experience. The front desk attendant, Mohammad, catered to every question and request. The room was gorgeous and so were the grounds. Room service was delicious for breakfast. Shower was huge. Perfect staycation in the city.

Yelp
Me and my husband stayed on 06/24 @ Mr Seaport for my birthday Upon late check in arrival we were greeted by large roach @ hotel lobby on their logo carpet ( pic attached) When we told the receptionist she did not seem to care and called someone housekeeping by the time the person came roach ran away. For the high end boutique hotel where room cost $400 + per night it's unacceptable that they don't do anything to address roach infestation.

Yelp
It's okay. I like the rooms and quality of furniture - but it's far away from lower east side and places I like in Manhattan. It doesn't feel like manhattan. I like the layout of rooms and quality but I am a fine hotels & resorts member & get $60 breakfast credit but breakfast is super expensive and mediocre. A cappuccino is $10 for instance and 2 egg scramble is $18. Recommended if you need to be in seaport area or going to Brooklyn.

Yelp
Super cute hotel down by the seaport! My boyfriend and I had a staycation down here and it was perfect. This place is chic but also has a design that fits right into downtown Manhattan. This is also random, but the AC in the room actually worked and changed when I wanted to make it cooler in the room. I find in so many hotels that the temp. is pre set and gets pushed back to whatever it was set at. Also love that they have a restaurant and also a piano bar in the actual hotel itself. Would deff recommend this place to anyone!

Yelp
My stay: 3 nights Room: queen size bed (end of hallway with no view but that was okay for me). What I loved: - furniture in entryway/lobby (Italian- high end designer- well done) - peach Bellini greeting - furniture in room and layout (well utilized) - velvet carpeting (felt so nice when my feet touched the carpet). - slippers on both side of bed on towel - full bar available in room + mini bar (love the options). - fantastic room service dinner (20% is already included which they never told me and I never got reimbursed for the additional 20% I paid on top of that once I realized they already charged me for it and never told me when I saw the check... this should be moved to "what I didn't like"). - bed was comfortable -bathroom amenities and lay out / / private toilet not connected to the shower or sink. - lighting - I've stayed at 4-5 stars in NY for the same price and got a lot less... didn't feel as fancy or luxurious. So for anyone who is curious about this place vs others. This place def is luxurious. The main concern thus shouldn't be price but if you want to be in the Seaport area. - elegant charm Cons: - my breakfast bill didn't add up to what was on menu. I have a pet peeve about this since I do large project budgets for a living and never forget a cost once I read it - they however honored it by waiving the mispriced item off the bill entirely (pro). - taxis and Uber's can add up even with free Lincoln (which is always in use due to traffic ) so I discovered Via which would take me to upper east side for less than $8. Or Greenwich village for $4.95 in a Mercedes black van. If you want to check out service you can get $10 off using my promo on VIA app: andrea8y8 Anyway- once I used Via the cost of traveling and sight seeing wasn't too bad. There is a subway nearby too. - the elevator was super slow between 10-4pm that I had to use the stairs (no service elevator) that was annoying - I'm Expedia VIP Gold and I didn't get a free upgrade or any extra perk (not sure if the staff is educated on what that means, ie: I booked over $7k on hotels + over 30 hotel night stays in 5 months on Expedia to maintain good status - I mentioned it but they didn't seem to know what I was talking about). Because the hotel room was super nice I didn't complain. But typically I get upgraded right away or a free VIP amenity if some sort.

Yelp
I came here with my family and a few of their best friends. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The front desk was very helpful and sweet to us. The check-in process was smooth, and as others have mentioned, they offer a delicious complimentary peach Bellini. The hotel is beautifully decorated -- with lots of pastel velvet furniture, dark wood, and marble. The bar and lounge area are particularly cute and well-designed. The hotel room was small but served me very well during the 4-day stay. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was bright with big mirrors and white marble, and the room was quiet. My only dislike was that they use European style toilets (this is my pet peeve)... but I hear they're more energy & water efficient so I can't complain too much. The room service menu is somewhat limited, but they have a delicious restaurant downstairs (try the truffle pasta!) and plenty of restaurants nearby. For breakfast, I walked across the street to "Made Fresh Daily" (if I recall correctly) and had a tasty egg white omelette. The location is right near the Brooklyn bridge, which makes trips to Brooklyn a breeze. There's also a subway station a few blocks away (~10 min walk). Highly recommend Mr C Seaport!

Yelp
We paid for a suite with a view and they put us in a small alleyway room stating it was the suite we paid for. We spent the next hour and a half arguing, literally arguing with the front desk, about what room we paid for and what was available. They tried to show us other, smaller rooms and even a gave us a room that was occupied! This was by far the worst check-in I've ever experienced. Over-booking is definitely an issue at this hotel so buyer beware! They offer a complimentary Bellini upon check-in and several other people were sipping their Bellini's for just as long as we were while the front desk sorted out their issues. I recommend booking elsewhere until management figures out how to either a) advertise their rooms correctly or b) stops overbooking. Then housekeeping knocked on our door at 10pm to ask if we wanted turndown service after we had been gone for 9 hours all day... truly ridiculous.

Yelp
My best friend and I came here for a girls weekend. This place is fantastic. All the staff are top notch and so helpful. The complimentary peach bellini's were so refreshing. It's a great location as well. We were so impressed and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Recommended this hotel to my super picky brother for his weekend visit, so I finally got to check out this boutique hotel. Elegant & sophisticated, Mr C Seaport is a standout hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The hotel provides free driver service which is pretty cool. We also enjoyed Bellini's restaurant for breakfast. Wish I could go back!

Yelp
Just got home from our NYC trip & I keep thinking about this hotel! I saw some reviews that were not flattering, so I was a bit worried. But it was all for nothing! The hotel is beautiful & sleek. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Our room was very large by NYC standards, we also had a view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The Seaport area is filled with cafes, shops & restaurants- at every price range. But it is very relaxed & comfortable Co suffering just s few blogs is away is the hustle bustle you are used to in NY. We walked to Ground Zero, Wall St & Battery Park. Very easy to get around in this area Will definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Big love for this wonderful hotel and their restaurant Bellini. We go any time we need a staycation in the city and got engaged their this Valentines weekend. A huge thank you to Max and the team for making it so special.

Yelp
This hotel was so awesome that I almost want to go to Beverly Hills just to stay at another location! The rooms... impeccable clean! The staff... phenomenal and sweet! The lounge and restaurant... all the YES! Delicious and the drinks were fab. I like their signature peach bellini the most. Idk where you may be looking to stay in NY... but get your butt to Seaport and enjoy Mr C!!!!

Yelp
Very very impressive. The service here is spectacular! We came in for Thanksgiving week and took a chance on this new boutique hotel....so glad we did! The place is spotless and so chic! The decor is beautiful and so classy! Room service was extraordinary! I really felt like royalty! Perhaps it's because it's a new hotel and the staff is on pins and needles? Whatever it is.....I don't mind it. More of it please! Book here and you won't be disappointed!
