"Taking inspiration from Paris’s largest flea market, located about a 10-minute walk away, the eclectic Mob Hotel is awash in boho chic and bursting with creative energy. The experience starts at reception, which doubles as a shop stocking everything from snacks and stylish accessories to the odd guitar, and continues out to the backyard, where the restaurant’s terrace overlooks a garden that hosts al fresco movies in the summer, and turns into an ice skating rink in the winter." - Sandra Ramani, Lindsey Tramuta

"Saint Ouen Billed as Paris’s original lifestyle hotel—and the brainchild of entrepreneur Cyril Aouizerate, co-founder of the popular Mama Shelter group—there’s lots to appeal to younger guests at this quirky spot right by the city’s legendary flea market, Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen. In the charming courtyard garden, you’ll find ping-pong tables and plenty of space for kids to run around and blow off steam, while films are screened on the giant projector after dark. The design-led rooms are delightfully spacious and filled with curious knick-knacks, from Chinese shadow puppets to musical instruments. Every month there’s a different kids’ workshop on offer, where little ones can get crafty with cardboard and papier maché, and they go all out for events like Halloween, with face painting, games, and sweet hunts. What’s more, kids under six eat free in the restaurant, and there’s a daily gouter bio for children held in the lobby between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., where little ones are treated to an organic snack and a hot drink." - Luciana Bellini

"How did it strike you on arrival?Taking inspiration from Paris’s largest flea market, located about a 10-minute walk away, the eclectic Mob Hotel is awash in boho chic and bursting with creative energy. The experience starts at reception, which doubles as a shop stocking everything from snacks and stylish accessories to the odd guitar, and continues out to the backyard, where the restaurant’s terrace overlooks a garden that hosts al fresco movies in the summer, and turns into an ice skating rink in the winter. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Billed as a “movement,” the Mob concept is all about engagement, so you’ll find a steady stream of locals joining guests for regularly scheduled classes (from yoga to hip-hop), events, designer pop-ups, DJ sessions, and live music featuring buzzed-about emerging talent. The location in a northern suburb appeals to travelers who are happy to grab a Metro pass and become part of the community. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Rooms pack a lot of breezy, Nordic style into small spaces, accented by quirky touches like a display of Russian nesting dolls, or tasseled red velvet theater curtains framing the bed. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? Some rooms have a small terrace with enough space for a couple of chairs and a gnome-shaped table, while others might have a couch, rocking chair, vinyl record player, or room to blow-up the complimentary air mattress. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Bathrooms are a tight squeeze, but come with decent showers and full-sized organic bath products. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Hide away in the cozy library, or be social at the always-lively restaurant, which serves up organic, seasonal menus, shareable plates, and potent cocktails to hotel guests and local regulars. Bottom line: worth it, and why?As long as you're prepared for the suburban location, Mob grants you affordable style and access to a vibrant, welcoming community." - Sandra Ramani

I stayed at Mob Hotel Paris Les Puces with my children and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The area felt unsafe in the evenings, with drunk individuals lingering around, which was unsettling, especially with kids. The check-in process was a nightmare, taking nearly 40 minutes due to an inexperienced and unprofessional receptionist. The restaurant was another drawback, filled with heavy cigarette smoke, making it unpleasant to dine with the family though the food was surprisingly good, which was the only positive aspect. The location also felt rundown. Additionally, the standard of the rooms was very low, and the room we stayed in did not resemble the pictures shown, which was misleading. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families or anyone seeking a comfortable and secure stay in Paris.

It was a cozy room. You'd need to walk to complete other side to wash your hands after using the toilet 😅. Never the less, its a very small room. Bed were very comfy and very clean.

The hotel is really safe but it just stays in a too dangerous zone. If you use public transportation as a main method and travelled a lot until sun is down, it would be scary for u to walk from metro(13) to the hotel. And if u need to use metro(14), I would highly recommend u to avoid it. I lost my phone on the first day going to France at the entrance of that station. And police there can't help us much. If u lost things here, it is almost impossible for u to get it back. The room is pretty small for 2 ppl. There is just 1 bathroom and 1 hair dryer. (No fridge, no closet) And be sure that when u go out from room, u really close the door properly bc I saw many rooms didn't close it properly and someone without card can go in easily.

This was our second stay at Mob Hotel. First as two singles pre Covid and now with a toddler in tow. Overall we enjoyed both stays. This time we were unfortunately rather ill as a family on our stay and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Including being very understanding when we needed to get an extra clean and/or change our booking. Staff were consistently lovely and helpful. Sometimes the restaurant service could be a little chaotic, forgetting items or bringing them out with long gaps, so you can’t eat your main and side as one, but always charming. The pizzas are by far the best food option, but unfortunately aren’t available consistently. The other food is very samey, as if they have a handful of pre-made sauces and use the same combos for everything and pretty expensive when you consider the quality. Breakfast is ok, but really doesn’t represent good value when you consider the price and selection when compared to other Paris hotels with a continental breakfast.

Great location once you find it, but terrible experience finding the parking. Website doesnt explain parking is on site and reception were less than helpful initially. |We spent 30 mins trying to find the parking, to discover, it was on the hotel complex, throught the entrance and on the right, under ground. ||Overall the experience was 'interesting' - The beds were 2 singles pushed together with a sheet over the top so they kept separating when we tried to cuddle. You could hear all noises from the bathrooms as this was in the same room as the bed. This may be the 'in thing' but its not for me.||Bewary of how you pay and check the amounts before you do. A gentleman took our payment of around 270 euros on our arrival and then when we went to leave, another lady requested a further 22 euros as the first gentleman hadnt included the tourist tax. This is turn, left me with 2 credit card charges as all payments have to be on a credit card so be prepared for a further charge from your provider. ||The hotel was in a great location to the Tram station so we could go into central Paris on multiple occasions during our stay. The bakery just round the corner was also fantastic, highly reccommend a vist. ||Overall, we had a good few days once we had sorted our issues but I won't return as I never felt 100% safe in the location and surrounding areas.

We're currently staying in this Hotel. We were told it had parking but there wasn't any, so they said we could park in their other hotel which we did but they charged us 53 euros. The sink in the room is broken which we told them about, they said someone would fix it. After waiting all day, we asked again and they said nothing would be done about it.

Yelp
This spot is trend-bending dining in Saint Ouen near the famous flea marché. A modern Buddha bar without the warm colours or the Buddha but I'm being reductive. The decor wants to be too many things but it makes you look. Bibliothèque is game room is terrasse, meets sofa seating with dining tables in a mostly neutral palette with random ish. The service is serviceable. The food is very good and varied. Fresh, seasoned, and good portion size. Salad nicoise, margarita pizza, hummus and couscous all excellent. More memorable than the food were Yasin Bey and blue eyed black dude from CSI at the next table. For such a swanky spot it's very reasonably priced. Compliments on the accessibility warranted.

Yelp
A family friendly (dogs included) hotel, that has the best hotel bar and staff. This is our go-to everytime we visit Paris.
