Mixson Market

Mixed bag. Cute/simple store. The bagle sandwich was excellent, with God thick bacon and perfectly good looked eggs. The "everything bagel" was more of a whole grain than a true everything, but still tasty. The "nitro cold brew" had no foam and I was told "but it's definitely nitro" (and a dollar more than regular cold brew)... As you can see in the picture there is no nitro infused into the coffee. I think they think the nitro pressuring the tank to dispense it makes it nitro, but it doesn't. Nitro should have a good foam head similar to a beer. Store was very dusty and probably hasn't been truly cleaned in 3-6 months. The place has potential but they need to have a closer eye on maintenance and figure out what nitro should look and taste like. Start was also rather cold and disengaged.

We wanted a good cup of coffee and breakfast. I need gluten free and they had many options. In fact, they had some very good GF cookies. They also had a nice selection of beer and wine. There are nice sitting areas in the back that were very relaxing. We will be back.

This place has gone downhill fast. When I first came to the little market I fell in love. Everything was perfect. I’ve been a local there every week for over a year now. The quality has been terrible the last couple of months. The phones don’t work and for an entire week their payment system has been down. So I went in this morning and couldn’t order because of their own issues. Unacceptable. Just look at how pathetic a $8 avocado toast comes as. This morning was the straw that broke the camels back for me though. You have just lost a loyal customer who referred a lot of people to this great market. Update: it’s Sunday morning the 21st and have waited 23 minutes for a coffee. So minus another star I guess.

Michelle made our day! She was so incredibly sweet with my dog and took the time to make our visit special. Great staff and great eats.

I really want to like this place, especially since I live at Mixson and a cute coffee shop was supposed to be one of the perks of living here. And I do enjoy the food and coffee. But there is almost always something not working/ out of stock or just REALLY slow. Today the card reader wasn't working, which I didn't find out until after I stood in line and placed my order. A few weeks ago I ordered breakfast tacos - they come with avocado, but they were out, which they didn't tell me until after I had already paid and sat down with my coffee. And in general the service is slow, even when there's not a line. I've lived here over a year and there's always some issue that just makes it frustrating to even bother coming here, even though it's so convenient for me and the menu is actually decent. I really hope they can figure out improvements. Or at least put up a sign when they're out of ingredients or can't take payments!

An absolute gem in a charming little pocket of town. Wonderful locally-sourced creations make a stop well worth it. Just the right portion sizes with ingredients you can trust.

The food and coffee her are so good! The coffee is moderately priced and the food is priced pretty high, but is worth it. I wish I would have taken pictures, the sandwiches are so big.

Such a cute little spot to grab a coffee, a meal or even a little wine. The food was made fresh right in front of me!
