Missouri Botanical Garden

We are blessed to have such an amazing Botanical Garden here in STL. My wife and I have stopped in at around 5 other botanical gardens in major cities and definitely have one of the best. This place is great for a date, a family trip, or some much needed peace for an individual. The national exhibits that come through as well as the holiday displays are absolutely amazing.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ additional for Hot Chocolate!!! Visiting the Garden Glow this year was an enchanting experience! The dazzling display of lights transformed the Botanical Gardens into a winter wonderland. Each pathway was beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere that felt like stepping into a festive fairy tale. The creativity and artistry of the light installations were truly remarkable, making it a must-see for anyone looking to get into the holiday spirit. However, the highlight of my evening had to be the *Cozy Caroler*, a special hot chocolate that I simply can't stop raving about! This drink was not just delicious but also delightfully spiked in a way that added an unexpected twist to the classic cozy beverage. I’m still unsure what exact concoction made it so special, but it brought me an indescribable joy. As I sipped on the *Cozy Caroler*, I found myself erupting in fits of laughter that came in waves. It was like experiencing the best kind of high—pure bliss! There were moments I laughed so hard I could barely breathe, and I even worried I might pull a muscle from all the giggling! It was a fantastic blend of warmth, sweetness, and holiday cheer that I’ll cherish long after the lights have dimmed. For anyone planning a visit, make sure to savor a cup of that *Cozy Caroler*. Trust me, it will enhance your Garden Glow experience!

We went to the garden glow here with our family and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend and be sure to book your time and get tickets in advance. We were happily surprised that there was available parking even when they were so busy. With pre purchased tickets we scanned and went right in. It was beautiful, easy to navigate without much waiting or anything. The staff here was incredible and offered assistance even taking a few pictures of our family for us. Excellent refreshment stops along the way as you work through the path. So many beautiful photo opportunities, great music , and holiday cheer. Will be back again for sure.

Went for the Garden Lights, and it was so beautiful. I recommend going through the house if you can. However, we ate at the restaurant, and that place was 2/5. The food was barely warm and cooked horribly. Hard as rock chicken fingers, room temp wings, and a rice bowl that was more like a soup with how much oil was in it. Oh, and the sodas don't have enough syrup. All 3 different sodas tasted off. $18 for adults and $9 for kids. Go for the Glow but please avoid the restaurant for it.

The Garden is beautiful even snow covered in the winter. I wish I had time to see the night time Glow event, even in the day the set up looked really cool. The Climatron is always beautiful and it was awesome to see there were still pieces of art from Chihuly exhibition years ago.

What a beautiful place to visit. Had the chance to stop here while roadtrippin and what a nice surprise. The air outside was cold so walking into the bio-dome/conservatory was a great way to dodge the cold. Such a cool spot and even cooler varieties of plants and trees. The place was well maintained and a pleasure to walk through.

What a beautiful place. Spent 2 hours walking around and didn’t get to see everything before we had to head out of town. It was mid October so end of the growing season and winterizing was starting but there was still plenty to see, especially the indoor gardens. Definitely recommend blocking out 2-3 hours for this place.

Went for their Christmas lights! It was amazing as always! So many times just stopped and stared at the lighting shows and watched in awe. Worth the trip in the cold. Had hot coco stands that you could add a little 'adult Christmas spirit' to, and warm yourself up. It's a beautiful night, although parking is always a nightmare.
