"Within 10 minutes of being at this Notting Hill spot, you’ll smell fresh fish and mint and be taken to their vine-covered terrace that looks like the backyard of a villa from every episode of A Place In The Sun. The menu is made up of classic Greek dishes—flecks of orzo pasta covered in cheese, with tiger prawns thrown in, or light calamari with a strong hit of citrus mayo—that deserve a bottle of white wine for company. This Greek spot, just behind Notting Hill Gate station, has rustic wooden tables, faux shutters on the walls, and a charming outdoor terrace. It’s equally as perfect for dinner with the family, the most romantic date this side of Santorini, or a laid-back birthday involving a whole lot of tzatziki. If you can’t get a booking or are looking for something a little more casual, head to their sister, Suzi Tros, two doors up Hillgate Street. The upmarket Greek spot in Notting Hill has a lovely little white-walled patio space that screams a-bottle-too-many-but-who-cares.
