The rooms, corridors, shared kitchen, and bathrooms are consistently clean and well-maintained. Fresh linens, spotless communal areas, and a general sense of order make the stay genuinely comfortable. The beds are surprisingly cozy for a hostel — supportive mattresses, soft pillows, and quality duvets ensure a restful sleep after a long day of exploring. The staff here truly elevate the experience. They are warm, cheerful, and always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or small requests. Their friendliness feels genuine, and guests often mention how welcome and at ease they feel upon arrival. In terms of comfort, the hostel offers spacious dorms and private rooms, along with a practical shared kitchen that’s equipped with everything needed for quick meals. Little touches like provided towels and 24/7 access to coffee and tea add to the convenience. If there is one gentle note, it’s that the bathrooms can occasionally get busy during peak hours — but this is a minor issue considering the overall quality and popularity of the place. Firstly, I have to give a massive thank you to Hajni. She is an absolute star — incredibly warm, full of energy, and bursting with amazing tips about local attractions, food, and hidden gems. I arrived with my itinerary ready, and she not only walked me through everything on the map, but also pointed me toward the most authentic restaurants, showed me how to dodge tourist traps, and patiently answered every single question I had about Prague. She genuinely made my trip better. And the hostel? Honestly, I love how they pay attention to details: different outlets on the wall for virtually every type of plug you may have independently of where you're from. There's a chocolate on the bed with your towel, and so on. The building itself is beautiful and in a very nice location. I'd definitely stay there again!

Literally one of best hostels I stayed at, very nice location in mid-town, very well equipped kitchen, clean room and most importantly a good stuff especially Dodo 🦤, we went out on an event and it was a blast. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

The Maverick is a stone's throw to the Erzsebeth bridge and right beside bus/tram/metro stops. Located in the back of large building, one must go through 3 larges doors (2 with a code, sent with confirmation email a few days before arrival) to reach the office.||It's a hostel, so you have the kitchen with communal fridge, microwave and complete stove. Plates and utensils aplenty but not a large selection of pots and pans. Also a living room and a luggage room. No laudryroom but the hostel offers a cleaning service. Otherwise you can go to a laudrymat in the neighbourhood. Good wifi everywhere.||My private room came with a queen bed & lots of pillows, desk & chair, tv and bathroom with shower (plenty of hot water!). Towels and soap were provided. Hairdryer available. Everything was clean and comfortable. Old buildings are however echoish and tend to have thin walls. The large fan running just outside my window was also a tad annoying at night. Earplugs necessary.||Small Lidt supermarket next door but always crowded and very small selection. Better to go at Aldi, 5 minutes down the street.||This is a good hostel, well situated for visiting the city. Lots of restaurants and stores around. All train stations are 2.5 km - or more- away (ex: Keleti station is 8 minutes by bus). Staff was polite and helpful.

Horrible!! Smells like stinky feet and there was a person on my assigned bed! Reception worker had horrible customer service and did not upgrade me to a ground level bed, he switched me to a top bunk bed in a tiny room....Do NOT come...Their are better and cleaner ones..

All the beds don't have privacy. No curtains, no dividers. Snoring inhabitant. Main light wakes everyone up as no personal lights installed. Fairly good shower cabins,but 1 had very old leaking shower head, no soap in the shower and broaken hairdryer. However, towels had been provided for free. Staff was really friendly. Bottom line. If you don't care about facilities and roommates but valuing location ---that's your place.

the location is excellent .. you have connections to anything you want .. central .. to the airport etc ... I had no problems, but I understand that there were guests who had problems !! as for the experience everything is very good value for money. The bathroom and shower were very clean and the staff very friendly. I travel frequently and I can say that I would return with pleasure.
