"Mapacho Craft Beer Restaurant Though better known for its high-quality, wide-ranging craft beer menu, Mapacho, in Aguas Calientes, merits culinary attention, too, regional suds or no. Lunch and dinner choices are varied and delicious with choices like trout ceviche and osso buco, as well as a wide selection of Peruvian favorites like lomo saltado (a Peruvian beef stir-fry). The atmosphere is casual; service top-notch. Arrive early or late to snag a coveted river-view table."

We were lead to Mapacho Craft Beer Restaurant by Roger, our Gate1 guide, who highly recommended eating here. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious. The appearance and presentation were beautiful! Our guide preordered for all of us, so there was no wait at all. Service was excellent. It's located in the heart of Aguas Calientes with the river on one side and the train tracks on the other. Awesome view of the raging river below. Very cool hearing it roaring below. We definitely can recommend eating here.

Food was delicious! Our server Roxana was very attentive and suggested us the plates we would enjoy as locals along with something that suited my husband's picky stomach. The view of the river is gorgeous and you get to enjoy the sound, the nature, and at times when the train drives through as well. An amazing experience. Came here for my husband's birthday after descending machu picchu. Perfect and amazing food.

We are really sceptic about touristic places, so we wemt a little bit from main street. We wanted to go to the restaurant near by but than we changed our mind. And wow but really for a long time we haven’t try such a delicious food and apart our waiter Joseph was really polite, friendly and he didn’t hesitate to explain about the traditional food dishes so now we have also for the further more information. Really as a owner of tapas bar I think everybody sould have a personal like he is. The cheviche, salad and alpaca in peper souce were excelent. Top 10

I came here after a day in Machu Pichu. This place was recommended by a tour guide and it was delicious! Evelin, my server, was great! She helped me pick out the trout ceviche which was my fav.

Vanessa was amazing! The food was great. The service professional and friendly. I would highly recommend checking this place out. The Pisco Sours were made perfectly. The steak was cooked to the requested temperature. And the lasagna was some of the nest I've had around the world, much to my extreme surprise! We will be back. Thank you! Muchisimos gracias!

Great experience. Surprise performance of traditional Peruvian music with instruments and singing. All our party’s food was fantastic except for my crunchy cuy dish. It wasn’t terrible, I just couldn’t get much meat from it. Collectively would for sure eat here again!

The Food was the best I’ve had in Aguas Calientes! Def recommend going before or after going to Matchu Picchu. The sea food fried rice was amazing and the Passion fruit Pisco Sour. Rumi our waiter was so nice and gave great recommendations and took amazing picture of our group next to the river! 10/10 recommend

AMAZING!!!! Michael our server was absolutely amazing and gave us great suggestions for food. Every single dish was a hit, even with our kids. We had the Cuy, Alapaca con Salsa de Guindones, Arroz Chaufa de Pollo, and the Ceviche de Trucha for appetizer. Everything was delicious!!! Our adult beverages were also amazing. Just the best I’ve had!
