My husband and I ate here on our last night of our trip and it was the perfect way to end our time in Peru. Our server, Jhon, was so accommodating and passionate about the food. We could tell that the quality of our experience meant a lot to him, and he truly made our evening magical. All of the staff impressed us and were incredibly kind and genuine. The food was amazing and we were able to have a great sampling of traditional Peruvian flavors at their finest quality. We would highly recommend touring the museum before your reservation at Maps for a perfect evening in Cusco!

Wow if you want a unique experience with incredible, local, high end quinine in a glass box within a museum…need I say more? Lovely staff, outstanding service, the flavor combos were incredible, creative and perfectly cooked. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

People will miss this location or will not think good restaurant, however if you are looking some unique places this is it. We went after 7pm and this place were so quiet or felt little too dark. People won’t notice this place at all. Service stuff were amazing but 5 course menu were just ok. For the price we paid for 2 wish little better. Interesting place to visit and good service and good drinks so well it balances out, but needed little more lighting…if you are there at night you know. Overall okay place to visit!

The restaurant is situated in a courtyard within the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. The restaurant offers a three or a set five course menu. We opted for the three which came with a basket of bread, entree, main and dessert. A variety of options were available for each of the courses including vegetarian options. The food itself was fantastic - well presented and great flavours. We were not disappointed with any of our choices. The price is no doubt higher than many other options in town but if you are not on a tight budget then I would highly recommend MAP.

If you are visiting the museum you will walk right past this wonderful restaurant enclosed in glass in a beautiful open plaza. My guess is that this is one of the best restaurants in Cusco & it is not far from the busy center. If you are trying to figure it out via Google or a website/Instagram you are likely going to understand what people mean when they say it is a 'hidden gem.' When we arrived for our 7pm reservation (done via Whatsapp -- this is the way to go) there were only two other tables filled (lunch is likely booked more solidly as people are already there). I think this lack of busyness at dinner is because non-museum goers are confused on how to access the restaurant online and how to figure out what is offered. The restaurant currently offers a prix fixe 3 course and 5 course dinner menu with modern take on Peruvian cuisine. The 3 course (what we went with) has multiple options and the five course is set. Prices are bit more expensive than other restaurants, but is worth the splurge. We went with the three course and it was definitely enough food and delicious. The food was beautifully prepared and our server - John - was terrific, kindly helping us work on our Spanish (even though he also speaks English). Once this restaurant has a website with clear descriptions I predict it will be a Cusco hotspot!

Cusco Hidden Gem!! We tried this place for dinner tonight, and we are so happy we did. It’s a little hard to find- you have to walk inside the museum, but the setting is intimate and beautiful. You have the option of a 5 course meal or a 3 course dinner meal, with plenty of delicious choices to choose from. We ordered the ceviche, octopus, trout, beef tenderloin, and the El Limon and El Choclo for dessert. Everything tasted incredible, but the presentation was just as beautiful as the taste. This is a meal we will be talking about for a long time.

We had a 5 course culinary journey through Peru, from the coast to the highlands and the jungle, featuring many ingredients that I've never heard nor eaten before, like guinea pigs, cocona, camu camu, uchucuta, etc. Peru has over 4000 types of tubers and over 50 types of corn. Our server, John, described each dish with an eye to the ingredients, their importance to the Peruvian culture and economy, as well as the technique that the chef used to create it. It was definitely a feast for the tummy, the eyes and nose, and the mind.
