Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I walked in and there was a small wait, but the hostess was accommodating and asked a gentleman that was waiting if I could take his place on a cushioned chair.
I ordered simple, only a Pain de Chocolat and a Cafe Con Leche. It was brought promptly, and it was quite good. The pastry was extremely airy, which was a tad disappointing because it felt like there was little substance to it, and the chocolate filling was crowded on one side, leaving 1/3 or so of the pastry without. However, the filling was dense and decadent, which was perfect with the coffee, which was strong and rich. I enjoyed it leisurely on the chair, enjoying the ambiance. When I asked for the bill, however, it was not brought, and I had to wait nearly 10 or so minutes for another waitress to pass by again to ask for it again. 2.50 euro in all, not bad!
Just before heading out I bought an extremely small raspberry tart to go (the gorgeous display case makes it impossible to leave without taking something for the run). I only wanted one, and the man behind the counter expressed his bewilderment at why I wanted only one 2-bite delicacy, but be warned: past the moderately priced breakfast pastries, things start to get crazy: it was 1.80 euro! Delicious, but not worth the price tag, they don't display prices in the case.
All in all, a great little place. Reasonable breakfast, great environment whether you're alone or with a small group, polite staff. Just make sure your wallet is full before you come!
