Nice hotel. Rooms get dark and have really comfortable beds. Personnel is not overly friendly. Breakfast was good especially the freshly squeezed orange juice! Would come back!

Rooms are small, poor wifi, unfriendly behaviour of the owners and waiters, they rudely tell you they don’t have time to respond your questions, the stairs to the top floors are small and hard to walk and dark, breakfast not exciting and very brief, the sliced fruits smell fridge, coffee wasn’t not good. free public parking but you have to be lucky in busy periods, very steep streets to walk , no access to any supermarket or shops, clean room though but not enough light I believe, if ppl walk or talk you easily hear at the room, too expensive for a very mediocre place

This hotel is very good. I cannot understand why it has any reviews other than 5 stars! Room was huge, well equipped, full mini bar, shiny clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental and all good quality, but the meal in the restaurant was exceptional. If you stay here, and you should, then eat here, you must . No complaints at all, everything just perfect. I will be back .

Incredible what they did to me. I agreed to book a room for 39 nights for 4500€. They asked me to make a bank transfer over 1000 or to pass. I told them that i d pass, but had a few issues to do so, but kept them informed and they still agreed. Today i travelled there and arrived, very tired. The ing Friendly guy at the counter didn't even greet... He just stared at me in a bizarre manner. When i told him to be willing to pay the advance, he replied that my room had been sold to someone else. I responded that the lady the day before had advised me to come, but he was indifferent. My god. I surely would have sent like 6000 or 7000€ there and that man treated me like that...

Maybe with arriving at the front desk, being greeted by a man, while the woman didn't say a word, not even hello, but shoved a registration form at my husband. Or maybe with paying 245€ for a room with a jacuzzi where there isn't even hand soap in the bathroom. I had to climb into the jacuzzi and go across all the way to the far wall to get soap to wash my hands, which I'm sure is good exercise but not really practical. Or maybe I should have mentioned the candle arrangement, a tribute to the honeymoon suite, in which every single tea light was burned out, so no candles. Or could it be the unsightly stained sofa on which I refused to sit down. Surely breakfast made up for everything else? Your can press fresh orange juice. That's a good point. Forget the rest, particularly if you arrive a half hour before closing the breakfast room. You will have slivers of cheese as the trays are not refilled. |As for dinner, it's half and half. The soup was good. My husband's salad was fine. My own dish was really not very good, tiny slivers of overcooked venison in a lot of brown sauce. l should have believed the reviews!

For my cycling trip of 3 days in Luxemburg I needed something centrally located. Esch seemed to be a good spot for that. Despite the mixed reviews decided to take my chances and book 2 nights.|Esch sur Sure is a tourist trap, and with only 2 hotels you haven't got much too choose from. The other has even worse reviews.|The room assigned, 17, is in a separate building next to the church with its bells ringing every 15', starting at 7 in the morning. You don't need to set your alarm... Good thing though that at 23:00 it is the last.|Reception; as mentioned by other reviewers: unpolite and unfriendly.|Breakfast: good with plenty of choice. |Diner: because of the other reviews we decided not te eat here.|Room: dated with a small bathroom, shower of| 1m2. Plus: spring water from the tap. |Beds: comfortable.|Staff: when the owners are unpolite, the staff is adjusting accordingly. Hence the title of this review. |Esch: only 3 places where you can have a coffee; this hotel: coffee is good! The other hotel: dirty terrace, so we went somewhere else. Third place only accepts cash...|Summary: too expensive for what you get. |Advice: only when you absolutely need to stay in Esch. |

The apart-hotel we’ve been in was very nice, clean and looked brand new. Big bathroom and nice kitchen: only downside here is the fact that it’s unfurnished and there’s no cutlery no dishes or basic to cook. Same in the bathroom, you have towels but no soap at all. You need to bring your own even if you are supposed to be in a 4stars hotel. For the price I would provide the basics. Breakfast is good

The hotel is ideally located on the top of the super beautiful village. It is quite old, but is has some kind of charm. ||Check in is at 14:00. However we arrived at 12:00 and asked if the room was available. The reaction from the woman at reception was very unfriendly and unpolite. Bad start... We came back at 1800 and we were welcomed by a much more friendly and older woman. A Cuban woman took us then to our room. She did a good job, as she made us forget the unfriendliness of the first person at the reception. Room was fine, although some refreshment is clearly needed. Silent at night is great, except for some unpolite guests that decided to play ping pong at two in the morning. This is clearly not allowed. I would suggest not leaving the balls available at night to avoid this kind if unpleasant situation. Breakfast was good, although tables were not well separated. I did not feel really safe. ||Check out was very bad. Nobody in the reception. A woman tells us to go to the bar. Nobody at the bar. I had to get into the kitchen to ask for checkout... really messy.||To finalized we were charged 5 euros for Covid measures...||There is a wonderful terrace but only available for the restaurant, and not for breakfast. ||I will not come back.
