A good restaurant to get a sip. The french fries here is really good to take with wonderful cocktails.

A delicious, very filling, final meal for us while in Chile. We ordered the Ossobucco and Pastel del Choclo and both were very good... maybe a bit heavy for the middle of summer but still very good. Service was also very friendly and welcoming.

Went for lunch and was surprised to find the place empty at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. As we settled in, other patrons started to come by. Apparently, during the week lunch doesn’t really get started for the working class until after 1, closer to 2. In any case we sat down and ordered our food. I had the fish sandwich with a side order of fries and a lemonade. I called my lunch of with a Pisco Sour.

Run, don't walk to Liguria. The quintessential Chilean restaurant, not a tourist trap. Utterly delicious food but the wine list takes many many more menu pages than food. An all-around fantastic experience!

Service for tourists is super bad. The place is nice for locals though. Each floor is a different theme. Lots of locals there catching up hanging out drinking. We came for some seafood and it wasn't that fresh.

Stopped in to have a glass of delicious Chilean wine after we had checked into our nearby hotel and before a first walk around the neighborhood. Friendly service, nice decor. Sat at the bar and we didn't eat so I can't speak to the food, but if you're looking for a lovely setting for a glass of wine, check out Liguria!

Can't say enough great things about this place - wide ranging wine list, excellent excellent steak sandwich - amazing chicken stew like thing as a side dish and fun decor. You need to go when you are in town!!!!!

Love the ambiance , decor and maybe the service . Food : took forever to come and also they didn't have a lot of the plates that they advertised. I had the Merluza which was dry and lack of flavor , somebody on my table got the lamb and it was super tough to eat. Also had the calamari which was too much breading . The bread was good and the butter that came with it . I will not come back to this restaurant for dinner but for cocktails yes !

Excellent service and great food! We came here for dinner but did not have reservations. The host accommodate us and found us sitting after 5 mins. Ordered grilled fish with quinoa and a bowl of corn soup. Everything was well prepared. Thank you!

It was our first day in Santiago and we wanted something close to out hotel, the Hotel Orly. We went in with 4 people on a Monday night about 7:30 pm and were seated immediately. We had heard that this was a lively place but that apparently doesn't apply on a Monday night though it did pick up later. Liguria has a nice pub feeling. They have a nice selection of beers, including some Chilean beers. We tried Guayacan Pale Ale (slightly bitter, not much happiness), Mestra Blonde Ale (very mild, not much flavor) and Quebrada Pale Ale (again not very hoppy but much smoother than the Guayacan and the table favorite). They gave us some nondescript bread with butter and salsa with our beers. We struggled a bit with the menu but luckily my son speaks enough Spanish to get us through. For appetizer, we got pan automatado con anchoa, ehich was in the Dailies section of the menu. This is bruschetta (toasted bread with a tomato topping) plus anchovies and capers. It was served with mayonnaise and finely chopped hot pepper. It was very good assuming that you like anchovies, which we do. It was a big order, 6 pieces with lots of topping. By this point, we were getting a little full so we decided to share a couple of entrees. At the waiters suggestion, we got two entrees. One was spaghetti with tomato sauce and meat (beef, I think) cooked in the sauce. It was very good. Our second entree came off the Dailies menu - congrio al a plancha with pure de zapallo. It was a light white fish, sautéed, with a purée of pumpkin or similar orange squash. The dish was all very bland but tasted ok, nothing special. For dessert, we ordered dulce de leche, which turned out to be chocolate ice cream, and a vanilla ice cream with mango. They were all very good. The whole meal, including 5 beers, came to about $110. It was a reasonable price for an enjoyable meal.

Ate here twice, and had drinks a third time. Fantastic service by super-friendly staff (it helps to be somewhat fluent in Spanish which I am). Good pisco sours and cocktails, nice beer and wine list. I came for seafood and was not disapointed...conger eel (not actually an eel if you care!) in a stew was delicious. Nice bread basket. Good salads. Chicken pil pil also recommended. Be sure to use the Mapucho spice merkin on your food. Nice ambiance. Sit outside if you can.

The drinks, service, environment are wonderful. Close to Cerro San cristobol. Recommend the Huaynito... So yummy!!! Rikkko! Maravillosa!

Well, I'm going to write this review in English for my chilean-visiting audience. We went for a late lunch. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of typical chilean dishes. Chileans usually eat lunch earlier, and we were there around 2-3pm so it was understandable. Still, the waiter was very attentive and gave us good suggestions. We had pisco sour and local craft beer (Guayacán) to start, and they brought out a selection of bread/butter and sopaipillas (which I think were a treat, since I told the waiter I hadn't been to Chile in almost 10 years). Of course I cried when I ate the bread, it was just so good. Afterwards we ordered and got delicious gnocci with "mechada" which is pulled roasted meat (similar to pulled pork) in a delicious tomato sauce. We also had the spinach and ricotta ravioli with a slightly different and still awesome tomato sauce. For dessert we ordered the traditional "torta mil hojas" (thousand layer cake) which was not super traditional (they blended the milk/caramel with cream, so it was creamier than I'm used to) but still tasty. Overall, we liked the ambiance, food and service. It was also reasonable, with 2 drinks, 2 entrees (with leftovers), bread, and dessert to share for $40 (US).

Perfect dinner at Liguria. Service five stars, food five stars, pisco cocktails five stars, ambiance five stars. We were seated immediately, even English speaking waiter was dispatched to our table to avoid any confusion with the menu. The pisco sour was a little bit too sweet to my taste yet beautifully strong. For appetizer we had the pink clams (machas) with parmesan, amazing dish we are experimenting with for the first time and I want to have it again. The other starter were the even more amazing fried empanadas with blood sausage, served with mayo and hot red sauce. Both starters are highly recommended to try if you are wandering in Santiago for the first time and in Liguria they were prepared perfectly. The mains were pretty good too: pork ribs with mashed potatoes that tasted like bacon and conger sautéed with garlic, served in a bowl. Second cocktail was the pisco mojito recommended by our waiter, yum, yum and really boozy. Happy evening indeed!

Overpriced basic meals come with poor service. The alfresco dining atmosphere would have been nice but for the chain smokers. No English speaking wait staff so have your translator ready.
