Les Jardins d'Anaïs

In a world more & more populated by homogenised hotels, Les Jardins stands out as distinctively different in the best possible ways- With a sublime attention to detail, comfort, and exceptional service. This was a wonderful stay & I would recommend highly to anyone coming to Luxembourg for business or pleasure. Note: I dined one night in the restaurant and really enjoyed it. It was elegant, refined, and tasty. What you would expect.

Disappointing Restaurant This was our second visit to this restaurant. We were underwhelmed the first time but decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, this experience was even worse. The quality of the food was average at best — certainly not what one would expect from an establishment positioning itself as gastronomic. The presentation was equally uninspired, lacking any sense of finesse or creativity. What disappointed us most, however, was the service: indifferent, inattentive, and overall lacking warmth or professionalism. It felt like a take-it-or-leave-it attitude, which is simply unacceptable for a restaurant with such ambitions and price levels. Overall, we would rate our experience 2 out of 5. Sadly, we now understand why this restaurant lost its Michelin stars.

I thought this place was just OK - a little expensive for what it is, and I'd say my biggest complaint is that it's probably more convenient to stay somewhere in the centre of town. I tried to book Le Place d'Armes but it was fully booked on this occasion, I'd probably try that on a return visit. One nice plus is they do have a piano in great condition which they allow guests to play!

We went with high expectations and were unfortunately disappointed. Tasting menus can be expensive and totally worth it, but when the food is below average with very questionable ingredients the price becomes more of an insult. Nothing really had a gastronomical quality (other than small portions which is to be expected). One dish had a few pieces of simple boiled cabbage leaves as a side. My main dish was pork which to be fair tasted excellent, with a side of chopped oysters. I have never seen oysters served in a chopped heap. Assuming it was mushrooms or some similar side that would pair well with the meat I tried eating it together only to have the most upsetting taste combination in my mouth. It’s unbelievably confusing why anyone would serve oyster chopped up, or as a side for pork. The steak was also good but once again very sad sides, some steamed vegetables and a puree which was just a heavy sauce-like liquid. None of the dishes were explained while being served. Sommelier and staff were good and helpful but the place does not operate on the level it is advertised. Would never go again, 200 per person for a few bites of decent meat and a couple of glasses a wine is easily found elsewhere.

Very lovely, individual rooms. It's not all perfectly clean but with a lot of charm. The staff is extremely friendly and (this is really worth mentioning) incredibly attractive. All of them. It's like the most attractive people of the whole country all work in this hotel. Confusing but nice.

All I can say is “wow!” The service was impeccable, the outdoor space was so relaxing, and most of all the restaurant completely surpassed our expectations. We went to a Michelin star restaurant the next day, and it didn’t even come close to being as good as the course meal at the hotel. The rooms were well appointed and spacious, with an antique sort of feel to them. The location was great, a quick walk to the city center. The receptionist and staff were very friendly and helped us make reservations, let us check in a bit early, and were very welcoming. A+ experience overall!

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, with a special atmosphere. Also, the service is impeccable. After three visits, we unfortunately haven't been convinced by their cuisine though. Indeed, they have lost their Michelin star again, as the food is French gastronomy but lacks the surprise and excellence. We also found a hair in our dessert.

Had a superb lunch here during Resto Days. The service was attentive and friendly. Very professional. The food was flavorful and gorgeously plated. We had a three course meal and really enjoyed it. Downsize was I was hungry just 3 hours later. I would love a bit more with the serving sizes.
