Les Jardins d'Anaïs

All I can say is “wow!” The service was impeccable, the outdoor space was so relaxing, and most of all the restaurant completely surpassed our expectations. We went to a Michelin star restaurant the next day, and it didn’t even come close to being as good as the course meal at the hotel. The rooms were well appointed and spacious, with an antique sort of feel to them. The location was great, a quick walk to the city center. The receptionist and staff were very friendly and helped us make reservations, let us check in a bit early, and were very welcoming. A+ experience overall!

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, with a special atmosphere. Also, the service is impeccable. After three visits, we unfortunately haven't been convinced by their cuisine though. Indeed, they have lost their Michelin star again, as the food is French gastronomy but lacks the surprise and excellence. We also found a hair in our dessert.

Third time diner there. Food is still very good, dessert always excellent and the highlight. Service was friendly however long, absentmindedly and quite inattentive this time. Have they not been advised to scan the room to see if a guest tries to get their attention, to order or ask for something.

True, our experience was not what we expected, but what was exceptional was the follow up by the owner to make it right. She contacted us, tried to understand every piece of concern, explained her philosophy and how she is going to bring the feedback back to her staff to make them live up to what she wants Les jardins d’Anaïs to be. A place where you truly remember the evening you have spent there. A rare commitment of a leader in the restaurant business these days. Don’t waste your money! Was expecting a lot better for what we paid €291 not including breakfast. Room was clean on the surface but I found dust on curtain rails, window sills and skirting boards. Rooms are noisy due to slamming doors, church bells and a flight path! Broken blind and naff toiletries. Worst complaint for that money you did not even get a free bottle of water!! Small glass bottle from mini bar was €6. Feel completely ripped off. Breakfast at €22 was also very disappointing. We went there from the Novotel Suites… now they are worth the money! Couldn’t fault them so stay there instead.

Had a superb lunch here during Resto Days. The service was attentive and friendly. Very professional. The food was flavorful and gorgeously plated. We had a three course meal and really enjoyed it. Downsize was I was hungry just 3 hours later. I would love a bit more with the serving sizes.

Beautiful space, calming vibe. The food rose to the occasion. Where presentation was phenomenal, yet taste still exceeded all expectations set by my eyes. The service was top notch and I would recommend this place over and over again.

I dined at the restaurant with my family, 5 of us. We had 2 of the set menus. Menu Jardins (vegetarian) and menu Anais. We had to all choose from 1 menu, but because we wanted vegetarian we could have 2 menus. I was allowed to replace out the main course with the chefs signature dish for an extra 40 Euro. I was expecting to be impressed from the cost, but all 5 of us were far from impressed. The vegetarian dishes were all basic and acidic biased. The meat menu dishes looked ok, but the taste balance was not there. For example, one dish was pate and a little wagyu beef, but the beef was too chilled which made the fat hard. I had another course in a pastry shell and the pastry was hard. The signature dish is a blue lobster tale sat on the most basic blood sausage. This restaurant is not Michelin star and is charging Michelin star money… Courses were small too, so I ate the loaf they provided. Service from the staff is good.
