Great place! La Raidd in Paris is a lively gay club with great music and a fun atmosphere. The venue is well-designed, though it can get quite crowded on weekends. Drink prices are reasonable, and the adult-only performances add a unique and entertaining touch to the experience. A solid choice for a night out in Paris.

Google
I love everything about this bar! They have the best "sex in the shower" cocktail the one that is known as "sex on the beach" drink, but that's what they call it there. Nice and friendly bartenders. My visit to Raidd bar was amazing!

Hristo “Itso” Minkov

Google
The bar/night club is too small, or they cram too many people in it on busy nights. You can't turn around, let alone get to the bar to get a drink or do any dancing. The sound system is bad, or they are not allowed to play it louder because of regulations. Either way it is not good. The staff was very friendly, the drinks were OK and a bit pricy. I was expecting a better and bigger gay club for the biggest gay venue in Paris.

Google
This place sucked! The music sucked. The drinks were weak. The shower show was the farthest thing from sexy. It was quite dégoûtant. Too small and way too packed to enjoy anything! If u like to dance, this isnt the place to go.

Khai Muse

Google
1) it's an American bar. The music is early 2000s. 2) if you like that, and also nudity, it's amazing. The set-up is new. The bartenders are nice. That's all we needed to enjoy ourselves.

Google
Unbeatable happy hour! 50% off everything from 18H to 22H (6-10pm). You can get a standard pour of wine for just 3€. Avoid the Espresso "Mankini." It's a pre-mixed, Smirnoff drink, served on ice; even during happy hour, you can do without. Very clean, limited outdoor seating. Service was friendly and we were able to order in English.

Jonas Montvidas

Google
The drinks are cheap but they also taste cheap. The male stripers are kinda hot, but also a bit too vulgar and too straightforward. The crowd was friendly and the music was okay.

Andrey Krasilnikov

Google
If you’re coming for the show, it’s NOT worth it. The bar gets so packed around midnight, there is a real danger of physical injury. The show is maybe 5 minutes tops and is 45 minutes late I do have to admit that had it not been for the excruciating pain from being pushed and shoved around, the music and drinks are pretty good. The staff was nice

Richard H.

Yelp
Cute people nice a beautiful lady passed around glow bracelets she either in the family or an ally so sweet Drinks are pricey compared to la for the strong % Expect a later show hahaha we like to be on time when you don't have to be hahaha

Mango T.

Yelp
Very rude doorman. I went saturday night, but left after 2 minutes. The place was super crowded. I went back sunday night when it was less crowded but doorman refused me entry since i was wearing addidas sportspants.

Tari O.

Yelp
Very fun gay bar in Paris. They have a drag show, a hot man dancing in a shower, and a good DJ. Clean and well kept place that stays late.

George A.

Yelp
Just boys having fun. Nice clean fun. Hell, there's even a shower. The only downside is that bachelorette parties full of squealing girls show up! They are annoying. Find your own place!

Joseph V.

Yelp
This is my first intro to a bar open till 5 am. I had a great time with my friends. Cute court yard. I'd recommend especially if you're into boys who take showers.

Christopher B.

Yelp
Beware - my friend and I got roofied here Tuesday night. Sketchy people just waiting around for tourists to Americans. DO NOT ORDER THE CHAMPAGNE VODKA!

Kim M.

Yelp
Friends of Dorothy. A fun place to grab a drink we missed the show. The drinks were good, the club was fun and inclusive to a group of girls just wanting to have fun!

Jerry A.

Yelp
So much fun great night out for couples or singles very welcoming to all! Hot bartenders nice staff and a great time what more could you ask for definitely recommend!!

Michael F.

Yelp
/À la vôtre! Nice little bar in Paris. My coworker brought me here on a layover and had a festive time. The servers are cute and very friendly. I'm not a bar hopper and don't like to drink alcohol beverages, but I like the vibe here and the crowd. I certainly had a fabulous time. rAccueil chaleureux je recommande vivement

Yelp
American here. Great spot in Le Marais. First time visiting and had such a good time at this club during my recent August trip to Paris. Went alone and still had a blast! The shower show was great and definitely a must-see. Definitely comparable to some of club experiences home in NYC. Everyone was great and dancing! Love to see that. Also got a few free shots while there from a few locals, which is always nice. Definitely will be visiting again on my next trip back.

Yelp
The Bar Men are all sexy muscle men. Dayum! :) Music, ambiance, shower show, two floors with a bar on each. More mellow downstairs, not sure if at a late late hour it changes. ;) There's a bedded area there. Our waiter was spectacular with a great/friendly attitude to match his perfect body.

Neb P.

Yelp
This bar is an absolute fun!! I came here to see the shower show for my bday, and it was amazing! Dancers were hot, bartenders were cute and friendly. The drinks were fairly priced but wasn't strong enough tho. However , it got me buzzed after a few shots so i'd say it's still good. The only thing that I thought could be funner is the smoking area. The one they have downstairs were literally a closed room and everybody was just blowing smoke out of each other LOL! I wasn't sure if we have the privilege to go in and out of the bar to smoke without having to fall in line again to go back in so I decided to just stay downstairs. Music was good but could also be better if they put up some of the famous EDM and hip hop music on played more frequently. Other than that, we had a great weekend at this bar!

Dav I.

Yelp
Def overhyped, overpriced, and hardly alcohol in their drinks... a let down for me. Music wise it's pretty basic pop stuff Crowd wise, twinks, teens and horny elders

Jon W.

Yelp
This is most definitely my favorite boîte in all of Paris. The energy here is amazing every night of the week. I always come here at least a few times when I am in town. I have met very beautiful cool people here from all over the world. Si tu sors dans le Marais, il faut aller au Raidd!

Edmond T.

Yelp
Shower show was fun but as others commented, the space is extremely crowded (and young). Go, watch one show and move on. No lingering please. :-)

Ajae G.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS BAR! When I lived in France, I went there religiously. Staff are beautiful, drink prices are reasonable and the shower show is one of a kind! Favorite bar in Paris!!!

Von A.

Yelp
If i had to pay a cover charge - this place would get a 2 star rating... Raidd Bar is centrally located in the "gay section" of the Marais with easy access from the Hotel De Ville metro stop. One could easily go bar-hopping in this section of the Marais, and luckily enough - no cover charge made coming in and quickly going out a very easy game plan. The bartenders seemed friendly, and you don't necessarily need to make your way to the bar to get service. The bar has staff that roam around to take orders. Surprisingly enough they actually remember who you are despite the crowds that are there - especially on a Friday night. Tendering money is easy as the bartenders/staff present you a printed receipt for your drink order.

Alan L.

Yelp
Visiting from San Francisco. This place was fun. It was packed on a Wednesday. The shower show starts between 12-12:30. Definitely check it out if you're around. There was not enough bartenders as everyone was waiting for a drink. Dance floor is decently spacious. Vibe was good.

T D.

Yelp
We had a lot of fun here. Three American girls and one birthday, they were very sweet and welcoming. The shower was a great surprise, however I feel I have to say that the man looked a little too young to be in there, I would hope they had some older gents doing that. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five. Other than that, I'd def recommend this place again. Well done!

Chris R.

Yelp
Cute place but very crowded and the security guards are not nice. They stop you and will not let you out until they say so, which was awkward. The place definitely could use more room and nice security guards. Getting to the bathroom is like trying to navigate a meteor field--good luck!

Kenson K.

Yelp
I'd say its was a 2.5 star experience. It reminds of NYC's Splash with the shower show going on in the corner, but alas there was no show that night - but they did have a couple of "dancers", I dunno if I want to call them that, on stage next to the DJ. Its a cool bar with a lot of neon, and man it gets really packed on a Saturday night. I was a little disgusted when we ordered drinks though, The bartender used his hands to put the ice in our glasses. Ew honey, I don't know where them hands have been so please keep it outta my drink.

Shalini G.

Yelp
My very first gay bar experience in Paris! i was told to not act straight or they probably wouldn't let me in! so i made sure to walk in separate from my hubby =) no cover..yay! you enter on the upstairs level... bar scene...lively... downstairs has the bathrooms and various "den's" to kick it in. super cool! we had just one drink and moved on to the next bar...but i enjoyed hanging here.. definitely would come again. i hear that they have guys showering in public there for entertainment! RAUNCHY!!! ...we left before that happened though...maybe next time

Robert S.

Yelp
Went there on a Friday night and the place was packed....we got there around 10:30. Nice good looking crowd. Besides the main floor, they have a downstairs area with smaller intimate rooms. Music is very good, high energy, 80s, 90s, all types. The "shower" show was supposed to start around 11PM...we waited until about 11:30PM and no show...so we left for another bar.

Austin B.

Yelp
Good music nice bartenders clean bathrooms and overall vibe was good. Not too busy and enough room to dance even on a Wednesday. Expensive drinks - 21 euro for 2 well gin and tonics but that was our bad. Very tentative employees and they cleaned up a mess on floor without us having to ask. The shower show is definitely great but the second round was definitely ruined because of a bunch of people (heterosexual women) who had phones out with cameras. The dancer literally did the phone hand signal and shook his finger no, which is pretty universal / doesn't need to be translated, but these women were only focused on getting their social media material which is ANNOYING because this is clearly a GAY BAR which means they are a GUEST in our place of worship. I experienced first hand the epitome of what is wrong with heterosexual culture and their undying need to infiltrate our spaces and clubs because they are bored with their own - apparently heterosexual men can't have platonic female friends they go out drinking with? Le sigh. It shouldn't have ruined my night but I was being pushed out of the way while dancing and my view was being blocked because these stupid girls! The Club should make an announcement that cameras and phones need to be put away *end rant*

Yelp
Really good place for the prices and ambiance. Picks up when the Happy Hours at surrounding bars end and the people move on. A later night spot with hot bartenders and Loud music/dancing/entertainment (Live Semi-Nude showers take place in plexiglass stalls mounted high on the walls as the time gets later.) Very upbeat boisterous crowd..but always friendly. Bar staff exceptionally friendly and fast..as well as being eye candy. Mostly gay, but as always some STR8's as well which is cool--and usually the norm in Europe. Check it out! '(¿)

Arturo Gio F.

Yelp
One of the strangest bars I've ever been to - and I've lived in San Francisco. The crowd was slightly anti-social and the scene was totally anti-dancing. Drinkers would perch on tables and chairs to watch body-builders dance on an elevated stage. The two-step got boring quick. Raidd was Tiredd.

Esteban D.

Yelp
A very interesting and fun gay bar in the heart of the gay district. Our Recent trip to Raidd bar was very fun and despite actually finding this place on YELP and reading the review's, we decided to check it out and see what the true meaning of this place. I must admit, it did NOT disappoint. We checked it out on 2 different nights 7/17/15 - Friday, and 7/18/15 - Saturday First off: For those wondering... because I was... The dress code is casual and shorts, flip-flops or sneakers are acceptable. Note: most french are wearing jeans, shirts (long-sleeve or button down short sleeve) and shoes. If you want to "fit in" i suggest you go with that. Also there is NO COVER CHARGE (at least those nights we went) Space: The location is off in a nice district of Paris, you can take the Subway there and it leaves you 1.5 blocks from the spot. It is a very nice and easy walk. The place is divided into 2 spaces ... "Upstairs" which is the packed crammed area that everyone tends to linger in and has the infamous 'shower' bar and the gogo dancers. "Downstairs" is more loungy and more relaxing. *Bathrooms are downstairs so when you go its a trip and a half!*. The upstairs is crowded crammed and full of people - We got there at 10 so it was worse and 11 the following day and it was just as full. Eitherway, little A/C and lots of people is a good time but also a recipe for people stepping on each other and a few drunk patrons acting a fool. So if your not used to it, i suggest you stay away. Drinks: Selection is limited to what is available via the bar and the drink pourage is not what one expects in America or other countries. They do limit the drink pour to what is appropriate and accepted which is very limited to the equivalent of a shot (a small shot). They have liters for sodas which again limits their selection of mixers but none the less it gets the job done. They have beer and naturally, wine. Best bang for your buck? Order beer. Large beers are least expensive and get you more and you get your buzz on faster (if that is what you are looking for). Cost: Its about average but costly. 100 Euros goes fast there if you are paying for 2 people On average, we spent about 150-200 each night (we aren't heavy drinkers but we drink and were there for a while). Staff/People: What surprised me the most about most reviews here is that most knocked the place quickly about staff. Truthfully, i found it like any other place. If you TIP a bartender, they will help you out and be nice to you, remember you, serve you first, and tend to cater to you. If you, like most people we saw there, who just grabbed and left without even a "thank you" I can see why the staff was cold and cop an attitude with people. We tipped 1 Euro per drink (as our custom here in the states) and very quickly the bartenders were happy to assist and give us what we asked. Even when there was a packed line, we were acknowledged (since we were drinking the same thing) and quickly able to get our drinks and get back to what we were doing - so overall the Staff/People are very nice GoGo boys/Shower bar: For us who frequent the gay scene in the US, not having GOGO boy's is a sin at a gay bar, therefore, it must be a reward to the gay people in France. Most were oogling over it and they are very good looking, know they are good looking, and enjoy the attention. It is not consistent and it is not daily, HOWEVER it is nice to have someone PUMP up the crowd and provide a good dance routine to keep you on your toes. The shower bar is a shower, with a glass window, where a guy takes a sexy shower and you can view through the window. Again, for those who know the male nude revue's here in america or other places, you might just say "this is it? i've seen nude guys dancing in front of me" but this is what they do in France and again most know they are hot and enjoy the attention. Overall its a cool thing to see how it varies from our side. Final assessment: If your in Paris France, this is a must stop in bar and check it out. Very nice and very fun. We ended up both nights (after checking out several other gay bars) at Raidd and always closed down our night with the bar. Enjoyed the staff and the scene. We met some great people and anticipate to return when we go back.

Richard T.

Yelp
Gay Nightlife in Paris is generally pretty awful. Went to this bar a couple times last summer and to compare it to some of the bars in the states, you might think of it as being the Paris version of Los Angeles's MJ's (without the dancefloor) or San Francisco's Badlands (without the dancefloor) --- The two times I was here dancing wasn't happening. Just a bunch of awkward stares. Get it together Paris!

James C.

Yelp
Gogo dancers and live shower shows. But nothing else. The shows quickly become boring and the alcohol is very overpriced. I paid €7.60 for 0.5l beer, I dread to think about what spirits might cost. Ok venue for a quick nosey then move on.

Michael E.

Yelp
Pack but I'm from Chicago so I'm use to it, great service and the shower show is pretty hot. I would def come here again

Richard R.

Yelp
The music was too loud - dang when did I become the old man that says that? But really, when you don't speak the language very well it's hard enough to communicate without blaring music in your ear. Screaming doesn't help cuz everything is lost in translation anyhow... I would like to give this place 2.5 stars but alas I can't seem to muster up the strength to go up to 3 stars. Perhaps it's my total aversion to the "club" scene and hanging out at "the place to go just because it's the place to go." That said, I was less than impressed with Raidd. Would I go back? Sure, but I would be wasted before setting foot inside. I really did like the bi-level set up with clean bathrooms in the basement and lots of standing room upstairs. However, when everyone just hangs around with mouths agape, staring at the "shower show" I wonder if this is a bar or a strip joint. Maybe it's my Denver upbringing but this isn't my idea of a night on the town. Drinks were pricey which is never a good thing. But at least it was easy to belly up to the bar. Also, unlike other bars this one was VERY easy to find. I would say stop in just to say you did and then bounce to the next spot. There are a ton in this neighborhood.

Andrea G.

Yelp
My friend ordered a drink that the moronic bartender did not make properly. We told him it was the wrong drink and he argued that it wasn't. A manager then came down and continued to argue with us. (My friend ordered a vodka drink and the liqueur he poured was sambuca...we were completely in the right). Next thing we know my friend is put into a choke hold from behind by one of the bouncers and dragged up the stairs. I was then also grabbed by the bouncer by the throat and was being strangled, dragged upstairs, thrown aggressively against a car outside and then thrown down to the ground in the middle of the street (I'm a woman by the way). As this is happening my friend is being punched repeatedly in the head by the bouncer against another parked car. He was then thrown to the ground and covered in blood. This was the worst bar I have ever been to. I can understand aggressive behaviour from bouncers when needed, but we were simply having a disagreement about a drink that escalated very quickly into pure violence from the bouncers. Besides that the bar itself is nothing special. Overcrowded, over priced and overrated by anyone who gives it over a two star rating on here! I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Ericka M.

Yelp
Oh Raidd, words cannot adequately express what a FANTASTIC place this is. Raidd is more than a bar, it is an experience all on its own. I was here every other night. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. The crowd is yes granted 95% gay men, but what else are you expecting? I do not know if it is because of my Latina looks, but everyone is extremely friendly, and NOT pretentious. I met soo many outgoing people. The energy, the music, and of course the "showers". Yes, expect to get a drink or two spilled on you, but that's because everyone is dancing and not pressed up against the wall. AMAZING, I cannot rave enough about this place. *LADIES: if you are trying to go alone here, as I did on a Thursday night, tell the bouncer that yes you are in fact aware it is a gay club, otherwise they might try to discourage you. Also, it is a 1 girl per guy policy.

Christopher T.

Yelp
The bitchy drag queen, is there any other kind, asked me where i was from and i told her NYC. She went on to act all superior over me. I had to tell this Romanian gypsy transplant who was running what. Walk up to me with your chocolate candy and a mic and think i am going to be cute with you. This is New York - Anyways, the beer is cheap and the men are sleazy. There is a shower and somehow Splash rises above them, still. I digress..they're the only place to really go on a Monday or Tuesday.

Marck N.

Yelp
Fun bar to go to. Maybe there was a coat check, but I couldn't find it. The crowd was mixed with locals and tourist. Drinks were average price but lacked in taste. The bartender who mixed my drink, added ice with his bare hands which was kind of disconcerning (sanitary reasons).

Matt S.

Yelp
Insanely crowded.

John K.

Yelp
Eh. I've been here soooo many times. I'm a tourist and everyone I'm with wants to see the shower boys. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but that's all there is. Drinks are expensive and the bar is right at the shower so takes a while to fight the crowd. Go once and you're good. If the basement's open, it's not bad down there.

Qype User (paris-…)

Yelp
Bar with a Shower for Gogo boys. From 5pm, a warmed terrace welcomes customers for a nice drink. Around 10pm, the bar become more intimate, the music more loud and about once an hour, beautiful gogos come and shower near the bar. Rest of the time the hot and sexy staff, usually bare-chested, is enough for your eyes pleasure! Don't pay too much attention for the few snobbish stars of the staff, the others are sweet enough. Crowded with good and loud music by live DJs every night.

Qype User (dante…)

Yelp
Crowded trendy bar in the heart of Le Marais, anecdotally it seems popular with the anglophone crowd-- as I was making my way to the bar I heard conversations in English in UK, American & Canadian accents. It seems that the French people that go are regulars. They have a happy hour if you go early enough, before 9 I believe.

Andrew H.

Yelp
Paris can be a tough town...This place is one of those pleasant exceptions. The service is good, the music mix is fun, and it stays open very late/early :). I've been here on several occasions with colleagues, and friends. We had a nice time. Raidd can be very busy, and it's a lot fun on the weekends; when all of Europe/the world comes together right here :).

Tony P.

Yelp
this is by far my FAVORITE Paris bar! the staff is friendly, the drinks are mighty tasty and the music is awesome. you MUST visit this bar at least once if you are traveling thru Paris. ps, you can't be shy in order to visit this bar. there are two showers where men do some wet dancing and show their stuff and i do mean they show it ALL. (something we're not used to in the states). it is usually packed, which does not leave a lot of room to dance, but still worth it. there is also a downstairs portion of the bar, where the restrooms are located.

Damian E.

Yelp
I came here a second time. A bartender dropped a glass of red wine on me, spilling wine over all of my pants and shirt. He said "sorry" then handed me a bill for my drink demanding I pay for it despite having ruined $300 worth of clothes. I am shocked by this extraordinarily rude experience. I will never come back again!

Sunrise B.

Yelp
One of my least favorite of the trendy bars in the Marais. Feels like a bad version of Splash NYC or Micky's/ Revolver/ MJ's in LA. The crowd was not that friendly, the 'show' is kind of lame and the music is quite mainstream pop (the night I was there). Went one night and never went back after finding better options in the area.

Paola M.

Yelp
Loud, crowded, grimey and dancey. If that's your thing then RAIDD BAR IS YOUR PLACE! Reminds me of Rage or MJs or that other dancey West Hollywood gay bar. I do hate crowds so that part I didn't like very much, but the shower show is a "must-see" I guess. Lots of other bars in the area you can check out afterwards as well.

Dwayne H.

Yelp
The bar has potential...but probably the rudest clientele I've experienced at any bar. When not crowded, the bar is ok. Couple of dancers with extremely nice bodies. Had a shower show though the showeree wasn't my type--they do broadcast it to basement bar area. Once crowded, people turn extremely pushy--REALLY pushy....and extremely rude--as though you're not standing there. As we're walking out, two guys are in front of us and they stop right in front of the exit--blocking the entry/exit...didn't even move for an "Pardon"...they moved though after my firm shove. There has got to be better places in Paris.

Qype User (Plasti…)

Yelp
If you are visiting the capital and want to dive into the wild Parisian nights before dancing in clubs, the raidd bar will be must-go for you. The cocktails are good but not amazing, the bartenders are not necessarily pleasant or smiling and the clientele is almost entirely composed of tourists on the lookout for clichés about gay men. Note: every evening around 23h a man take a shower in a cubicle for this purpose. Very overrated.

Maximum P.

Yelp
The Entire staff that works Friday Saturday and Sunday helped my dreams come true. Paris france is called the city of dreams for a reason. I'll never forget this part of paris and will be back. Thank you. Special shout out to stef!!!!! Xoxo. Guaranteed a good time. Check it out if your down! :-)

Bob H.

Yelp
i must admit, one of the worse places to go for a drink. i love paris, i love the atmosphere, the people, the culture and this bar has somehow transported itself far away from paris...sigh. over priced drinks, not sure if the bartenders were rude or not because i couldn't hear them or anyone else for that matter. i don't have needs to be seen and certainly i don't have a need to be seen there again, i wouldn't want to embarrass myself

Eleroy R.

Yelp
Love bar had a great time and actually met some very influential people here. I started my evening here every night then moved on to the next bar. Will be back in May.
