We had a really great time here. The outdoor bars have gorgeous views and excellent cocktails. The dining room is well laid out so everyone can enjoy the view. The food & wine are excellent and staff service very professional.

It was a very pleasant experience eating on the terrace of La Perla, a posh looking restaurant right on San Sebastián’s waterfront, and a rare one at that. It felt like a tourist trap, but it’s not, go with confidence. However, be careful in your meal selection. The jamon Iberico was top notch, excellent quality. The aragula salad also had the same jamon with fresh tasting and peppery aragula. Pretty straight forward dish. The standout dish of this lunch was the scallops : fresh, distinctive taste, the scallops are elevated by a savant mix of vegetables that makes it explode in your mouth. Highly recommended. However, the Cesar salad is to avoided. It simply is not a Caesar salad in the most commonly know version of the dish. What we thought (from afar) were croutons, we’re actually breaded chicken nuggets. There is nothing wrong with chicken nuggets, it just was not specified on the menu, so it was not a welcome surprise. Not catastrophic, not what we expected. Croutons are not home made. Service was minimal. Had to wave down the service staff a few times to get their attention. Different people take orders and serve dishes, made for a somewhat impersonal experience. The pintxos we tasted were delicious, we just wished there were more choices. Only 2 available at the start of lunch service. Overall, we recommend La Perla. The location is obviously the star of the show. Service is slow and impersonal, but the food is generally very good. Go Here!!! Fantastic, casual place overlooking the bay with great views (on the patio). Good prices and food with self-service. Had the burger and pasta salad and both were great. Excellent beer, sangria and mixed drinks. Bartenders were very nice too.

Amazing location and delicious food. I recommend: - Scrambled eggs topped with potato, truffle and garlic, - Turbot loin served with shredded potato and traditional sauce, and - Caramelised toasted bread served with Bulgarian yoghurt ice cream. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

We reserved a table and did not know that they have 3 different seating areas with different menus. We finally settled in the one in the middle which have good menu. The food quality and taste generally was good. The cheeks stake yummy and milt in your mouth. Fish selection was good. The tenderloin steak was not made medium as requested and parts cooked medium and part well which makes it not nice. Service can improve as some staff are so good and some have attitude. View and location are superior.

Great value. For just over a hundred euro each we got two hour access to the aqua circuit, a 25min massage and then a tasting menu including a delicious bottle of wine. Sometimes tasting menus can leave you a little meh-ish and not full - this was not one of them. Everything was delicious and we were full at the end of it.

Excellent location! Really good quality of food and drinks! We had a capuccino and a salmon bread for breakfast. The prices where as expected and would recommend this place for sure. The only difficulty for me as a tourist was that none of the people who were serving the food outside was able to either speak or understand English. I do not mind it as I was enjoying myself completely at such a place, but good to have in mind!

The view is lovely but the service is not friendly. We ordered drinks, they got that wrong, the lady at the next table had the same experience. Staff walked past and did not remove empty plates or empty glasses or asked if we needed anything else. We would have ordered more food and wine but it was difficult to get service, so we paid, left and went elsewhere.
