This place is amazing. They put art in blending ingredients together, just gives the perfect blend of tastes. I wouldn’t trade their sandwiches with anything else. The coffee tastes great as well. The vibe is so nice. Prices are very affordable!

Absolutely excellent. Drinks, food and staff. The sandwiches, (served on a homemade soft bun that absolutely makes the overall experience), that we tried (chicken and short rib) were absolutely excellent. Also the side of yuka frita (first time we've had) were served piping hot and were just delicious! The next time we are thinking about popping out for lunch we are definitely heading to La Cubana on Roncesvalles.

This really is a experience that will make you feel that you travelled to Havana Cuba! We travelled from Niagara Region to a lovely afternoon in High Park yesterday and experienced an unforgettable dinner. My partner had the Cubano sandwich - him being from the latino culture he said it was fantastic! I had the braised beef plate and being a former chef that had worked in fine dining my taste buds were singing! You have to try the yuca frita so crispy and the sauce is the perfect match. We enjoyed it so much we got some rice and beans to take home for the next day! The next time we are in Toronto for date night we will be coming back! Thank you for the great service the manager and young lady serving us were so kind and accommodating with my lactose and gluten intolerance!

I had the Pressed Cubano sandwich, and it was incredible! The meat was packed with flavor, the cheese was perfectly melted, and every bite was just chef’s kiss. I could seriously eat one every week! The vibe in here is great too—warm, inviting, and the perfect spot to catch up with a friend over lunch. Highly recommend!

My partner and I have been dining at La Cubana since it first opened up on Roncessvales. Over the years it has maintained a consistent high level of quality in food and service, not to forget it’s always pleasant vibe. I think we have eaten everything that’s on the present menu and some that are no longer and always enjoyed their offerings. It is a friendly and open place for anyone who enjoys Cuban flavours. I highly recommend trying it out. You can see by the photos what we last dined on.

La Cubana is a fun and vibrant little spot that serves delicious food. The convenient location makes it very easy to get to by public transit at all hours of the day and night. Their cubano sandwich always hits the mark whether eaten in, taken out, or delivered.

I stopped in for dinner before a show at the theatre next door. The food is deliciously authentic and served in a modern diner ambiance, I almost forgot I was still in Toronto and not some trendy Miami cafe. Our waitress was so friendly and offered great recommendations. The Guava BBQ short rib was absolutely mouthwatering, and the yucca fries were that perfect balance of an extra crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Don't sleep on the cocktails either -- el Periodista paired perfectly with my meal. Will be back soon!

La Cubana is absolutely delicious. We started with the corn frituras, which were tasty and the perfect amount to share between two people. For my main course, I ordered the vegetarian plate, which includes a delicious black bean patty, slaw, rice and beans, tostada, avocado, Cuban cheese, and tomato. It's the perfect plate with a bit of everything. My friend ordered the guava BBQ short rib and couldn't stop raving about how flavorful it was. After our meal, our server recommended the key lime pie, which we decided to try, and it was scrumptious--perfectly sweet and tart, ending our dinner on a high note. The vibes, service, and food are outstanding, making La Cubana a restaurant I keep coming back to.

We've been this restaurant twice and had a wonderful time on both outings. The portions are generous, the food is delicious and tastes like home cooking. Moreover the service is prompt and speedy from start to finish. Often I find the very end of the experience (being asked if you're ready for the bill, receiving it, waiting for them to come back with the machine when you've already got your card ready) to be slow - but not here! Further, and this really shouldn't be a requirement to call out - but the food was warm! Since the pandemic I've noticed a lot of restaurants bringing out luke warm food, enough that we notice it when its the way it should be. All the little nit picks one might have about a dining experience do not exist here. La Cubana is fantastic, highly recommended. Go.

There's this 2014 movie called Chef starring Jon Favreau. If you haven't seen it, its pretty good. Long story short this chef loses his job, his restauraunt and almost his family, but slowly builds back his career by starting a food truck that serves - Cubano sandwiches! Ever since than I've always gone for the Cubano if somewhere sells it, and low and behold La Cubana, right within Toronto sells these. These sandwiches are made fresh and so are the yuca frites. The only reason I gave it 4/5 and not a perfect score is because compared to the Cubano's in Holquin or Havana, or even the ones in Miami these fall a bit short. Main differences; traditional cubano's have cuban loaf bread and swiss cheese, while these have a different type of bread and gruyere cheese. I know it makes these unique but I'm more a fan of the traditional style.

I've been here twice, several years apart. The decor is fantastic. They've done an amazing job and thought of everything. But I don't find the food impressive and prices are extremely high. I had one empanada, some overcooked fries and it was $25 before tax and tip. I had water with that. And service was mediocre. I want to like this place but I can't justify returning. **Update: The server mixed up my bill with someone else's and I wasn't paying attention. My fries and empanada should have been $14, not $25. As mentioned.... service was sub-par. Noticeably not great.

I've always loved the decor of this place, and have long admired​ the decor from the outside. One day as we were passing, I finally decided to bite the bullet and try the place out. My friend and I both had the honey glazed pork belly sandwich. The pork belly wasn't overly fatty​ and was in perfect ratio with the meat. The slaw added a bit of acidity to the sandwich balancing it out perfectly. I can't speak to any of the other items but this one is truly delicious. The service was pleasant and the beer was adequate​. I'll definitely be back to try the other menu items.

I'd been to the Ossington location several months back and had the absolutely spectacular Pressed Cubano Sandwich, so when the Roncey outpost was suggested, I couldn't help but jump at the chance to sample their wares. We decided to start with the Corn Frituras, which I suppose is the Cuban version of hush puppies. Anyway, these are phenomenal. The texture is crispy on the outside and perfectly pillowy on the inside, while the filling is packed with delicious flavors. The included dipping sauce is a perfect accompaniment, too. For my main, I went with the Guava BBQ Beef Short Rib. This is a heck of a platter, and it comes with an stomach-bursting amount of food. The beef short rib, though perhaps a little too fatty, is unbelievably tender and the sauce is irresistible. The plate also comes with delectable rice and beans, an above-average purple cabbage salad, and a couple of deep-fried plantains. Really, really good. I was completely full but we inexplicably decided to order dessert, as well. We got the simply-named Donuts and they were, no surprise, amazing. They're presented as donut holes, essentially, and they were perfectly cooked and presented, while the accompanying cream-cheese-and-caramel dip is lick-the-container-until-it's-empty delicious. La Cubana seems to be flying under the radar a little bit in Toronto, and it's a shame given that it appears to be one of the very best and most consistent restaurants in the city.

I love this place. It's usually the first location that comes to mind whenever I'm at Roncy for a quick bite. It's not a fancy place but I love the authenticity of their food let alone the Cuban coffee. Totally reminds me of my trip to Cuba. I also recently found out that they have a little patio at the back for Summertime's. Honestly nothing to complain here. The Cuban. Breakfast with pulled pork is my fave. If you and a group of friends don't mind an older less posh atmosphere than give this place a try. Oh and don't forget to finish your meal with a white coffee.

Looking for lunch revealed this gem of a place. Both the inside and the patio in the back is lovely, with the friendly service moving around seamlessly between all the patrons happily munching down on brunch. The space is bright and cheery, with plenty of seating to accommodate different group sizes. I had the Traditional Medianoche, which is a large sandwich with pork, ham, gruyere, and a runny egg between a soft egg bun. The sides include a pile of red cabbage coleslaw, rice and beans and two large tostones, which means that there is more than enough food even for a hungry brunch meal. Corn frituras makes a good share item, the inside is soft and fluffy while the outside is well fried.

Firs time at a cuban place and I've been blown away. The bf and I came here before going to high park and we really enjoyed the cute retro vibes here. We ordered the chicken platter and the fish burger and both were phenomenal. The looks on our faces after we took our first bites said it all -- it was great. The fish was perfectly cooked, paired with avocado and the pineapple, made the sandwich so good. His chicken platter was also really flavorful and we could still see the steam and juices coming out of it as he attempted to cut it. It seemed to be a really popular place and other tables were ordering different things that I'd love to come back and try more stuff. The waitress was super nice and happy to explain/answer any questions we had since we didn't really know much of the menu.

This place has the best Cubano sandwich in the city. Hands down! If you have a craving for this, run to this place...it will remind you of late nights in Cuba...enjoy!

We're never disappointed when go for a meal. The atmosphere and comfortable surroundings make us feel nostalgic. The smells of fried plantains and corn frituras are in the air. Cubano coffee flowing,mmmm . We had French toast with bananas, Cubano sandwich with fried plantains and corn frituras. Great service and memories. Thank you La Cubano.

La Cubana is a fun retro Cuban diner. There is a charming feel about the 50s look of the diner. The restaurant is bright and inviting. It captures the essence of the Havana vibe. The service was attentive and friendly. The food is reasonably priced. To start, we had the corn frituras. The corn frituras were properly doughy deep-friend fritters that were soft on the inside. You can actually taste the corn. For the main, I ordered the Guava BBQ beef short rib was absolutely delicious. This dish will impress anyone who loves Caribbean food. The short ribs was tender and immensely flavourful. This is not a fancy or high-end restaurant, but it does not pretend to be. La Cubana know what it is and fully embrace its concept of a Cuban diner. I would highly recommend La Cubana.

My boyfriend and I came for date night at the Roncy location, and we haven't been blown away by food like we did here since we were in Japan back in April. The cubanos were so dang tasty - the buns, meats, sauces - everything was a flavour bomb. I loved how fresh and soft the buns were thag they used for the cubanos. Another highlight was the habanero honey glazed calamari, sweet and spicy and everything nice all in one. Wrapped up dinner with their coffee natila (Cuban pudding), really nice roasted flavour on top and rich coffee taste in the pudding. I can't wait to come back, especially it's so close to Revue cinema for some great film screenings

I've heard a lot of great things about this place but after going there last night I'm extremely disappointed with how my friends and I were treated despite how good the food was. We were suppose to be a group of 8. The server told my friend that they don't do separate bills above 6 people and there would be a gratuity added to our bill. We said fine. In the end there were exactly 6 of us with one person arriving late and literally ordering just a key lime pie. She still wouldn't break our bills. We did our best to pay what we owed but ended up going over $11. Something we honestly didn't care that much about. But the server, a slender, small young lady with glasses who was already kind of rude the entire night makes this big stink about it and tried to break the change and then snaps at us for going over and tells us to deal with it ourselves. We tell her it's not an issue and we didn't mind in the first place. She comes back after we removed the $11 grabs her cash and mumbles under her breathe "That was such a frustrating experience." Excuse me? Just tell us we're over, remove $11 and go on with your day lady. Or better yet? Keep the freaking money. It just rubbed all of us the wrong way. We came to your establishment, all of us purchased food and drinks and you're rude to us about it? If your servers can't do math or are angry at our lack of ability to separate bills between us how about you just give us separate bills to avoid the headache? Goodness! The food was delicious but that experience really soured the taste over all. Hoping the Ossington location is better because I'm never stepping at the Roncy location ever again! If you're planning to bring a crowd 6 or over I highly encourage you to pick a different place because if this is how they treat massive groups dropping good money I rather give my business to some place that will be accommodating and actually polite to us for a change.

Food: I had the steak and eggs and shared the buttermilk donuts with my friend. I left feeling super full and was not at all disappointed by my meal. Service: The service was fine. Nothing that stood out although it is a very small space so when my friend and I were waiting for a table we kept on being asked to stand at different ends of the breakfast bar. All the servers were efficient but no one overly friendly. Overall: I would visit La Cubana again but would be curious to check out their Ossington location

I love this place, but the service is always very... unique here. The servers aren't always very nice and it always feels like you're hassling them for some reason - maybe cause they're always busy? Of course, this place has the most charming interior - like every other restaurant on the block. After watching The Chef, I always have a huge hanker to go here and have the Cuban sandwich. It's good. Very good.

Fantastic aesthetic. Lovely ambiance. Service is friendly and considerate. The bathrooms are private. The patio is small and sweet. The food. Omg. The food is rich, decadent and fresh. I had a shrimp appetizer, some sort of rub on it. Made me want to become a mermaid to go find all the shrimp in the sea and take them to the chef here to make all the yummy for me forever. The pulled pork sandwich is huuugggeee like my butt is now from eating it. Worth it. The fresh made donuts. The order is huge. Order one order for three ppl. I ordered two thinking I'd share with my flock. Nope. Had enough for a small army. Price is accessible. Will be back everyday till they kick me out for wearing mermaid costumes in a Cuban restaurant.

Le Cubana on Roncy is a great place for some South American and Cuban themed food, with a cute diner vibe, friendly service, and outdoor seating. I'm not sure why there are mediocre reviews for Le Cubana - I went twice over the past month and both have been great experiences, and great value. The first was a dine-in with a friend - we had the grilled corn, the Pork Shoulder platter, and a vegetarian Medianoche sandwich. The pork shoulder platter was great, with sweet pan-fried plantains, flavourful pulled pork shoulder, and was quite filling with the rice and beans. The Medianoche sandwich came with queso fresco (fresh cheese, almost like something between a feta and a mozzarella), arugula, and tomato, between two fluffy buns. Service was attentive, friendly, and the prices were reasonable, so we left feeling happy and satisfied!

La Cubana is definitely one of my go-to spots in Roncey - it has an old school diner vibe inside and a cute patio out back and unforgettable food. I've tried a variety of items from their lunch/dinner menu and haven't ever been disappointed. Some of my faves: - Corn Frituras ($7) - fluffy on the inside, crispy and salty on the outside, I could munch on these alllll night - Guava Beef Short rib Medianoche ($12) or on a plate with rice, beans, tostones ($18) - this short rib is soo flavourful, tender and juicy you really can't go wrong. And served with crispy onions and pickled jalapeno? Fuggetaboutit. - Grilled Fish Sandwich ($11) or on a plate ($17) - complemented perfectly by the pineapple *drool* - Donuts ($6) - little donut hole looking things coated in cinnamon sugar and served with icing (maybe cream cheese icing?) to dip in - so good They have 2 great house beers as well as cocktails and awesome coffee drinks. Get one of their Cuban plates and prepare to be really full at the end. The service has been attentive every single time. For the solid food and service, cool ambiance, and consistency I give them 5 stars!!

Nomz! Came here with some friends for a late lunch, and loved it. It's the perfect little Roncy lunch spot. Black cherry soda + fish sandwich + tostones... Perfect meal. I really have nothing bad to say about the food. The place was decked out in seafoam green tiles, white walls, and red leather seating. It looked like a diner from the 60's, which is probably a nod to Havana's Art Deco buildings that are still around today. Service was adequate, but nothing special.

Recently went for dinner and really enjoyed the food here. We got the grilled fish and the braised short ribs. The grilled fish was okay in my opinion, but the braised short ribs was amazing- the meat was tender and so juicy with flavours, mixed very well with the beans and the rice. Our server was very friendly and helpful - he gave us an introduction to the menu when he heard it was our first time there, and offered us samples of their delicious cuban beers.

Food was mediocre. Although someone in our party ordered their sandwich and shared more optimistic sentiments thereafter. Rice and plantains did not taste freshly made and chicken was not as warm as one would enjoy it.

La Cubana is usually one of my favourite restaurants on Roncy but the service has really been lacking lately. My boyfriend and I went for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary and while the food was excellent, I was very disappointed with the way we were treated. Firstly, the lady who took our order was very aggressive asking for ID when my boyfriend ordered a beer. While we understand why she asked, we really didn't appreciate the tone of voice she used and the way that she assumed we were under age. Furthermore, when she took our order she didn't send it to the kitchen. So, we were waiting for an extended period of time despite the restaurant being essentially empty. While we were waiting, she as well as a number of the other staff disappeared to the patio to take a break. When they returned it took them a significant period of time to recognize that we were still waiting on our food. While we were eating, I noticed that one of the chefs was snacking on something with their bare hands while cooking, a huge red flag to me. Finally, when we left, they didn't apologize for the mishap or take anything off of our bill. I would encourage the owner/manager at this restaurant to oversee their cooking and wait staff more closely in the future. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Went here for the first time after hearing the buzz about this restaurant. First impression was great! Drinks and service were amazing. Unfortunately the food was only just ok. The empanadas were tasty but I ordered the grilled fish plate and it was nothing special. My boyfriend ordered the sandwich and thought the Cuban bun was very dry but the filling was tasted. Overall this place has potential and I would be willing to give it another try.

We went today at 11:15am and was able to get a table outside in the back patio. The place was really cute. Nice and calming back patio. They have a white awning that can be rolled out so that you don't have to sit in the direct sunlight which is nice. Because of Pride weekend, it wasn't super busy either. For starters, the coffee that they have is espresso based. No drip coffee. My boyfriend and I go the Cuban Breakfast and the Chorizo Hash. I added our pictures. The Cuban Breakfast was ok. The Roast pork was nicely done and moist. The was good flavour in the chorizo hash, but I think it would be better if they increased the portion size of this a bit more. The eggs on both were nicely done (med with centre still runny). The fried plantains were a bit too overcooked? It was a bit hard and too dry. Rice with beans and the slaw was ok. Service was fine. There were 5 of us in our group. She was very nice to all of us. But when we asked for the bill, it was all on one bill. It would had been nice if she asked if we wanted separate bills.

We came here on a quiet Sunday afternoon after walking around at High Park. Make sure you come before 3pm as they close for an hour (3-4pm) to clean up and switch the menu from brunch to dinner. Luckily we stepped in at 2:45 and the staff were kind to let us in and order off the brunch menu, as they were starting to clean up and close for the hour. We tried the empanada - which came with purple cabbage drizzled with some chilli dressing, 2 poached eggs, rice and beans and a piece of fried plantain. This plate was delicious, we enjoyed the combination of everything - it went well together. We also ordered the grilled corn on the side, which was drizzled with mayo and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. This was just okay, we tried a better version of this is in New York.

Some of the best sandwiches in the city can be found here. I can't speak for most of the menu because I always order the short rib sandwich. It's awesome. A great spot to try something new and go on a culinary adventure.

Love everything about this place. The décor is so cute, makes you feel like you are in Cuba. The service was good, but it did take a little long to put our orders in, but it was a little busy, even at 5:30pm. They had a bunch of sandwiches and plates on their menu, basically anything you can get on a plate, you can get in a sandwich. The three of us decided to get 3 different plates to share. The pork shoulder, the braised short ribs and the fish. All were great, but the short ribs were particularly excellent. Highly recommend that. All the plates come with coleslaw, rice and beans and tostones (flattened plantain and fried up.. so delicious). Got an order of the donuts for dessert. They were good, but a little too cakey for my liking - but still good. They're hot and coated in a cinnamon sugar. Their coffees are yummy too!

I would consider this one of the hole in the wall places but definitely a great place to eat for an after church Sunday Lunch. We went in there and it had a diner feel then in back is a patio dining area that was pretty modern. I ordered them Cubano Sandwich and it was really good. It wasn't too oily or too greasy but right at the point. I also got the fries and those were greatly seasoned. Definitely would be going to this place again if I come back to the area.

Low key vibe with paper menus and old decor on the walls. It almost felt Cuban, excerpt it was -10 degrees outside! I ordered the Cuban sandwich and my friend ordered the grilled fish sandwich. Both were very good. I also liked the avocado salad (nice dressing). Only complaint is that the sandwiches don't come with fries, which is unusual. We got the tostones, which were supposed to be fried plantains, but were mostly just fried dough.

I've been to La Cubana a couple of times now and it's a pretty fantastic place! The overall 50s diner style is very charming, but I prefer sitting on their stellar patio. Although the corn is absolutely delicious, at $7 for a single cob cut is half it is a pretty big rip off. (I also noticed from the pictures of the menu posted here, that almost all their menu prices have gone up within the last year ... yikes!) Besides that, I have to say my vegetarian plate was absolutely delicious - SO much food! The highlights were the black bean burger and rice/beans. I definitely left stuffed after this meal. I've also previously tried the corn fritters and medianoche - both were great!

The environment was forgettable (goal was-old school Havana diner. Actuality-hospice with renovation plans accumulating dust) and then there was the waitress that was borderline despondent BUT the guava bbq short rib...JESÚS. When I say tender, it was like, let me drop to the floor and sing otis' try a little tenderness TENDER (it should be noted that this would be logistically impossible because the tables are so close together, salamanders couldn't squeeze between) and for that La Cubana receives 4 stars. Nothing else is worth mentioning. However, in the words (and vocal quality) of metallica's james hetfield, nothing else matters.

The staff was very genuine and passionate, something I don't encounter too often at most restaurants, and the food was outstanding. There was a short wait to get a seat but it was well well worth it. I'll be back...

Came here with my friend last week to this quick diner style joint. When we came in, we were seated immediately. Since it was our first time, the waitress is very kind and explained the menu thoroughly. Cuban food is kinda spicy haha. We decided to share 2 items as recommended by the waitress. We ordered the guava bbq beef short ribs. It came with slaw, rice, beans, and tostones for $15 and we also had the black bean soup ($6). We couldn't really taste the guava flavour but the shortribs were very tender. If you can't handle spice, be careful as there are peppers hiding in the slaw. Soup is not bad either; the white sauce in soup is a little spicy. Dinner is ok... Heard this place is better for breakfast so maybe I'll come back then!

Not bad.... It is not authentic Cuban food. I do not recommend the drinks to anybody, the drinks are expensive and you don't even get a full glass. Plus, the drinks took forever to arrive to the table!!! The food is something else. The rice & beans is not Cuban, it doesn't have that delicious Cuban taste. I asked for a toast to eat the eggs with, and they just said no because they need the bread to make sandwiches! I am paying, just bring me the bread!!! The service is horrible! It looks like they just don't care, I know the place is new, but at least they should know about customer service! We were a group of 4 Cuban girls, and never coming back!

I've been slowly going through the menu at Cubana. Everything here is a hit - no misses. Today, i had the chorizo empanada with poached eggs and pickled raisins from their brunch menu. A wonderful combination of spice, savoury and sweetness. A humble place that really delivers on flavour.

Came for brunch on a Saturday right when it opened -- not crowded. Walked into the door -- everything was beautiful. Ordered the Cuban breakfast -- incredible. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. My group also ordered the chorizo hash and steak and eggs, both of which were also so so great. The colors and decor of the restaurant are really pleasant and set me up for a great day.

I visited this establishment with group of women of color (12 in total) at night. We had a nice time and the food was good. One thing to note is that we were told that they couldn't do separate bills and that an 18% gratuity would be charged. We accepted those terms. Towards the end of the night we asked the waitress, Alana, to take a picture of us when we noticed that a white male sitting at the bar was taking pictures of us without our consent on his personal phobe. We felt really uncomfortable and one of the members of our group asked him why was he taking pictures of us. The waitress, Alana, said on his behalf, that he was taking pictures of her not of us. However, one of the members of our group asked him to show us the pictures. The man had taken 9 pictures of us, not the waitress, without our consent. Our friend deleted the pictures, while the man complained and made nasty comments to us. The staff did nothing about this. This is a matter of safety for women. Photographing people without consent is not only illegal, but dangerous. Particularly if the establishment does not consider this type of harassment an issue. And if the staff "protects" these people. I would recommend women to be very careful when going to this establishment, since you won't necessarily be safe and the staff will not do much to guarantee your safety.

Solid brunch option. I read a few reviews that complained about the service; I thought it was great! Not overly fake-friendly, just the perfect amount of attention and professionalism. We had the corn frituras to start which were delicious: moist on the inside and crisp on the outside. I then had the breakfast sandwich and my friend had the chorizo hash. Both were great choices full of flavour and colours! I think what I liked the most was the unpretentiousness of the place and the coffee.

The only reason for this rating is the incredibly bad service. There were 3 tables with people and we had to wait 10 minutes waving our hands like crazies until someone came up to tell us that he was off duty trying to learn his lines for an upcoming audition, but he will "do us a favour and take our order" The food and ambiance were extremely good, but the terrible service, 4 waiters later left us no choice but to give you a bad rating. I will come back for the food, but next time I'll sit at the bar

Looking for a unique breakfast? This is the place to go. Come early because a line up starts forming by 10:30. A quaint little restaurant with a old school ambiance. The Cuban breakfast includes tender shredded pork. The chorizo hash is a crunchy and tasty combo. The best, however, is the pork belly, perfect sear and great seasoning.

Soy enamorado con La Cubana, although I have never been there. La Cubana reminds you of a 50's diner with warm color scheme, fixtures, fares and vibes! Keep in mind this place doesn't take reservations, but the wait nonethless is worth it! Just be sure to give them your tel# and they'll text you once your table is ready. Since the front of the restaurant was jam packed with patrons waiting for the their tables, we decided to walk along Roncesvalles and check out the neighborhood. I ordered their Cuban Beer Pilsner with a twist of lime and a glass of water! no need for a jug this time :( For the food fare we ordered two apps: -Chorizo empanada: not your traditional, looked like a tart pie, topped off with raisins..quite a delight -Tostones Rellenos with Beef Picadillo, this was delish, lots of stuffing, perfect crust on the outside. Main!! I had their Guava bbq beef short ribs with rice/ beans and ensalada on the side, presentation was beautiful, colorful, taste was bang on! the meat was tender, and overall perfect melody of flavors. Their portions were satisfying, and the prices were quite reasonable. If you're in Roncesvalle and happen to get the Cuban travel bug, or looking for something different, check this place out. buen trabaja!

Get a taste of Cuba. I haven't seen so many Cuban restaurant that could also replicate a Cuban environment. The patio is pretty cool and the food is good. Tried their chicken and shrimp main dish. Both tasted great.
