The shop Is very nice and full of beautiful items from Mexico. The owner was annoyed and rude not putting the guest at ease. Maybe it was just a bad mood' day but that's not the way to treat a client.

I love this store. My mom’s chihuahua past away this year so I went to look for an alebrije for her and the owner was very helpful in finding the perfect one. She also helped me find a beautiful bracelet as well. I will definitely go back.

I wanted to shop here and was excited to see the Frida artwork. I was about to enter the shop when a man comes out the door and starts telling me to go away or come in and that I cannot stand outside his store. He starts going off on me, telling me (raising his voice) the street is not a piazza and several other things like that. It was really surprising. I let him know that I no longer wanted to come in (I actually feared he may be unstable and that I may be in danger). Regardless, the man/owner was very rude. I cannot comment about his merchandise as I never entered the shop.

A wonderful shop in the center of Rome with a lot of beautiful items. I noticed that some reviews said that the owner is rude, but my experience is the opposite. I met a very kind man that told me that if I need help, I call him. While I walked around in the shop he did his own thing, which was very comfortable and relaxing. When I needed some help/buy some lovely items he was very helpful and friendly. I recommend this shop!

Bel negozietto di originale artigianato di importazione messicano. Ha due piani, di cui uno interrato che viene usato anche per mostre. Ci sono articoli di varia qualità e anche medio consumo, come magliette e ninnoli. Nelle varia foto gli sposi muoiono a se stessi e risorgono a vita nuova! 😃 😃 😃 Metaforicamente esprime la rinascita mostrando ciò che è rimasto di quello che erano: ossa. Ora sono una carne sola. 🙂 Può sembrare una contraddizione associare l’immagine dello scheletro, quindi del decadimento e della morte, alla primavera o alla vita, come in altre immagini qui caricate e soprattutto recandovi nel negozio, ma non è così. Nella cultura messicana in particolare, è chiaro da un certo punto di vista il concetto che non c’è vita senza morte, non c’è rinascita senza un processo di decadimento. Dissertazione scontata ovunque, la morte rinnova ogni istante della nostra vita. In ogni momento noi moriamo a noi stessi per produrre molto frutto (parafrasi biblica), ecco perché la primavera è anche il trionfo della morte che ha permesso il nuovo, in tutte le sue declinazioni, personali e collettive. Come ho scritto, gli sposi non di rado per esempio vengono raffigurati come due scheletri: muoiono alla vita vecchia per risorgere in una nuova carne, in una virtuosa essenza. In tale senso San Paolo sosteneva che il coniuge per l’altro può essere la vita o la morte: rigenerazione virtuosa o fallimento esistenziale, da cui a sua volta risorgere. Cristo è molto esplicito: ‘I morti seppelliscano i morti’. Mai guardare nella tomba di ciò che è muore nella nostra vita, se non per rigenerarlo in modo nuovo, mai desiderare ciò che non è o non è mai stato.

Un luogo unico! Siamo stati accolti con un grande sorriso, gentilezza e disponibilità. La casa di Frida è diventata ormai anche la nostra casa! Viva la vida 🍉
