Great hotel in the center of the city, steps away from La Parroquia and Jardin de Allende. The room was very spacious with nice modern amenities within a historic building. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the street. The restaurant food and breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. The staff was very helpful, and they all were very nice and became friends with our dog, whom we brought with us. The hotel also had beautiful decorations up for Dia de Los Muertos celebrations and had nice live music downstairs at the restaurant for the festivities.

An exceptional stay! Our room was beautifully appointed and very clean, as was the the entire hotel property. The bed was beyond comfortable and we loved having fireplace and outdoor bathtub. The staff is friendly and helpful. We found the location to be ideal for our first visit to SMA directly in the Historic Center but off the main streets so not too noisy in the evening. Our booking included breakfast which was delicious every day.

Small boutique hotel with 22 rooms. Our room was very comfortable with lots of space and very comfy king size bed with high quality linens. Quiet place and loved lounging by pool. Came with amazing breakfast, coffee, fresh juice, pastries and hot dish made to order. The staff was super helpful and friendly cleaning our room everyday with nightly turn down leaving chocolates! Would highly recommend and would stay here again as it’s very close to Zocolo and many restaurants

Casa Arca was the perfect place for us to stay for our friend’s wedding. The staff were amazing and extremely attentive. They helped book us transport to and from the airport, answered any questions we had and were more attentive and friendly than any property I’ve stayed at in recent years. The hotel location is perfect for exploring the city and walking pretty much everywhere. The food at the hotel was fantastic. We had many meals in San Miguel and the breakfast and dinner options at the hotel were up there in quality, presentation, and portion size. We loved everything we ate. The last thing to cover are the beds. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so well every night. I think their bed tops any high end hotel bed we’ve experienced. I would highly recommend staying at this property and we will not hesitate to book again if we are in San Miguel De Allende!

Pros: the rooms are very clean, comfortable, chic. Amenities are amazing and the room is very sound proof due to double sound proofing doors. Great location in the center.||Cons: the 'standard' rooms are all on the main floor and their windows only face a small courtyard so felt (to me) a bit claustrophobic and not worth the money. Also, if staying there and wanting to use the pool you have to trek through the restaurant to reach it. If you can afford one of the rooms on the upper level I would definitely recommend that-and try to avoid one looking onto the pool with little privacy. The pool and restaurant were very sleepy, and it wasn't always easy to get service by the pool. When asking to change my room on the first floor I waited for an hour to go through the back and forth of finally getting a nicer room with a window (which was kind-though I felt like I was on the phone with Comcast-the longer you stay on the line the better the deal!) When I checked back online that next morning, the room I was in was now actually listed for the same price as the room I was originally booked in. For the money, I would have gone elsewhere!

This is a wonderful place to stay, Excellent location. A historic factory converted to a gorgeous hotel with a rich history. The rooms are large and well appointed with 500 thread count cotton sheets. the staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has delicious offerings. I opted for the breakfast included option which I highly recommend.

From the arrival to the tremendous free breakfast every morning to the luxurious rooms, this hotel is one of the best we’ve stayed at in San Miguel. The staff was so polite and helpful and location can’t be beat…. This is a hotel will make you return over and over again to this majestic town !!

This hotel is fantastic, the staff is fantastic, the attention to detail in every aspect is unparalleled. The rooms are fashionable, comfortable, spacious, and up to date. The sheets are so soft, and the little extra's the treats by your bed, the lip balm, the complimentary coconut water etc really make it stand out. The location is also ideal, it is right next to the main area of the town and it is easy to walk everywhere. The food in the hotel is also wonderful, the complimentary breakfast is delicious and I always appreciate a place that has almond milk/soy milk options for lattes. Then there are the bathrooms in the rooms which are incredible. Outdoor bath where you can lay and listen to church bells ring while gazing at stars....you feel like you are in a movie. If you are a picky traveler this place will cater to anything you could possibly need. It was beyond clean, well appointed, and beyond that just a comfortable place to relax. There are obviously nice hotels outside of the city, but for an in-town location, it really can't be beat. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world.

I'm so bummed I didn't find this place sooner. It's super high end and pricey. But I loved all the boutiques and food stalls/bars. It was chic. The designers and fragrances I saw were Mexican. Some other boutiques had Indian and African imports. I was pleased to see Mexican artists represented.

A fun high quality restaurant. Great work from experienced chefs. However the table service is relying on the kitchen to avoid any issues. You will need nudge them to ensure you have a good experience

It very nice and pretty but it's obviously new and not ready for international business. I've traveled all around the world and this is very nice- just isn't quite there yet. For a 5 star international hotel you'll generally have a staff that speaks English, which only one person here does. The TVs aren't programmed in English and you generally have to find one of the few people who work here to help. I'm sure it will get there and it is very pretty and centrally located.
