Step into Kindred, a whimsical vegan hotspot in South Park where gothic elegance meets heavy metal vibes, serving up creative cocktails and surprisingly hearty plant-based dishes.
"This South Park rebel makes its mark with the rarely-seen pairing of top-notch craft cocktails with a creative and comforting vegan menu. Add a dose of seriously eye-catching design and you’ve got a winner." - Candice Woo
"With a top-tier cocktail program, South Park’s Kindred pours the same levels of creativity into its non-alcoholic “XXX” menu. Try the Miracle Cure, a tropical goth blend of pineapple, lime, coconut, passionfruit, Thai basil, and lemongrass stained black with charcoal. Or. keep things light with the Bitter Death, a sparkling water spiked with bitters." - Kelly Bone
"Celebrating its 8th anniversary this month, the vegan cocktail palace’s recently overhauled menu introduced a slew of concoctions to their occult-tiki line up. Go strong with their Golden Alter, a whiskey sour with tart green apple, celery, mango and makrut lime leaves or stick to the Kult Classics like the rhubarb and strawberry gin Spinal Tap." - Kelly Bone, Candice Woo
"South Park’s very own heavy metal vegan restaurant also boasts a variety of tropical drinks on its menu, especially on Permanent Vacation Thursdays, when Polynesian-inspired food and rum soaked libations take over for the evening." - Jackie Bryant
"Kindred is an amazing new bar and restaurant serving up mystical cocktails and delectable dishes. Their style is a unique juxtaposition of feminine trappings with a hardcore metal aesthetic that you just have to see in person. The walls are covered with ornate pink wall paper that, upon closer inspection, depict eyeballs dueling it out with broadswords. The trim of the whole place is clean and dainty white and gold, with an inscription over the door that reads, "Hardcore will never die, but you will." When you visit, make sure to pay tribute to the glossy black four-eyed wolf-snake-skull totem mounted on the wall. Don't be intimidated though -- the staff are super friendly and the service is spot on. All of the plates and drinks are unique and tasty beyond expectations, so go forth and start your quest to try everything on the menu. Also, did we mention everything is vegan?! This fact will be an afterthought for you too when you try your first sip or bite at Kindred." - Visceral
