Love this store! Growing up Kensington had so Many produce stands and this is the last of them. Pricing is great and their quality is amazing. They go to the Ontario Food Terminal every morning at 4am to select the best produce. Local Asparagus just arrived for the season! Let’s support these folks over the chains!

I really enjoyed browsing through this market and checking out the different fruits and vegetables they offer. I picked up an orange watermelon and it was really good! I will definitely be returning.

This place is almost always fresher and less expensive than big box grocery stores. I also appreciate certain ingredients they stock (basically every vegetable) and ways of buying certain produce that they have (eg a few fresh bay leaves or red chilis in small bags, rather than a bunch that I won’t use up and will go bad). I will go out of my way to come here, which also has the perk of visiting other excellent small shops in Kensington Market.

If you want to buy fruits or groceries, forget supermarkets and go to Kensington Fruit Market! It is really worth it. The selection and quality of fruits is way better and it is quite affordable, too. They also have herbs and Portuguese specialties. By the way the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Best quality, unbeatable prices, and the most kind service. So much produce these days has no flavor, it's depressing to chance it when you're also breaking the bank on the basics. Kensington Fruit Market keeps fresh fruit and veg on our table year round and I don't know what we'd do without them <3.
