Kellogg’s Diner, a beloved Williamsburg staple since 1973, now offers curated comfort food and a cool vibe, perfect for late-night indulgence.
"Open 24 hours, this revived Williamsburg newcomer is becoming a favorite for its buffed retro chrome interior, Tex-Mex menu items, satisfying desserts, and drinks on a menu from Jackie Carnesi. Go here for items like guajillo-braised short rib hash, chilaquiles verde, steak and eggs, and huevos rancheros." - Melissa McCart
"A century-old space recently relaunched with a focus on preserving Williamsburg's history. It embodies the spirit of the neighborhood and serves classic diner fare." - Emma Orlow
"A Williamsburg diner launching a monthly dessert series with guest pastry chefs." - Nadia Chaudhury
"Kellogg’s Diner is so very back, as the Williamsburg institution opened the doors to a new chapter. Some may question whether Kellogg’s is still a diner by its strictest definitions (it now takes Resy, for one). Either way, the food at Kellogg’s is delicious and remains affordable. The menu — much of it Tex-Mex — includes enchiladas, poblano meatloaf, fried chicken with mac-and-cheese, housemade flour tortillas, strawberry pretzel salad, and one of most minty ice cream sundaes around (skipping dessert is not an option!). The best part? It’s now in service 24/7." - Emma Orlow
"Louis Skibar bought the old Kellogg’s diner, around since 1928, following his revamp of Old John’s Luncheonette on the Upper West Side. Then he hired Texas native Jackie Carnesi to oversee the menu, which includes Tex-Mex dishes, classic diner fare, and pastries like strawberry pretzel salad and coconut cream pie. Now it’s a revamped location that has stayed true to its history, maintaining retro vibes, and 24-hour service." - Melissa McCart, Robert Sietsema
