"The Bocadillo par Excellence The bocadillo is an art form. Crusty bread encloses fillings of your choice: usually tortilla española or thinly sliced cured meats. It's also a patriotic symbol and staple of daily life. What else would you carry to the Real Sociedad soccer game? The beach? Your pre-party on the port? Juantxo is widely accepted as the Old Town favorite for bocadillo consumption. Its prices are quite cheap and portions generous."
Probably Juantxo the best place for Spanish sandwiches in San Sebastian. Tortillas in bread with crab or potato, or just calamari. It has many options and good prices. There are some tables inside and some outside too. The stuff is fast and efficient. Recommend it!

A traditionally decorated cafe serving local Spanish sandwiches, tortilla and coffee. Very well priced and quick service. Only 6 tables inside but you are welcomed to stand and eat. We ordered the mushroom omelette which was extremely tasty and full of mushrooms. The bacalao omelette was fluffy and not too salty. A great little place to stop for a quick breakfast/lunch! 👍

We ordered some pintxos, bread with Spanish omelet and bread with shrimp 🍤 with garlic! They are all very tasty 😋 and 🥖 could filled up our stomachs for 2 meals, it means, 12€ for 2 girls for 2 meals. How crazily nice price! 😆

Very tasty tapas that fly out of the kitchen at a very rapid pace. Portions are quite large, so don't be too enthusiastic when ordering tapas for your party, 1 per person is probably more than enough.

Humble food done well, great prices and good portions. We ordered patata tortilla and kalamarrak - both absolutely delicious!

We had the “tortilla de patata” and the “Lomo, queso, pimientos con cebolla pochada” bocadillos.
Superr nice. Ingredients are good quality and full of flavour- with a good bread to filling ratio.
You get quantity and quality for a very reasonable price.
The bar has a friendly and casual vibe, it was also quite busy. There is an also a nice outside area if you want to stay in and eat.
Would recommend 🙂↕️and want to go back now

The staff were quite friendly but the only thing that is gluten-free is the tortilla de patata. They did go to the effort of throwing in some gluten-free bread though.

Nice spot for reasonably priced, local style sandwiches - typically a small white crusty roll with a range of simple toppings like omelette, bacon and hamburgers. Fairly humble offerings done well, it’s clear that care and effort has gone into them.
