John's Place Restaurant

I was in Victoria for a month and Johns place was recommended. I went in every Sunday. To put it short, best breakfasts I've ever had. The food fantastically delicious, I ordered off their extensive weekly special menu every time. Paris was my wonderful server every morning and welcomed me every morning like I've been coming for years, not just Paris, but every other employee I saw was happy and friendly and seemed to really love what they do. I honestly can't recommend a better breakfast place. Just be warned, the meals (I had at least) were big and heavy, so come hungry!

Had an amazing brunch. The food was delicious fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. But what really stood out was the service attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made the whole experience even better. Definitely a go-to spot for a great brunch!

Best place for breakfast or brunch. The foods are tasty. We came in desember love the decorations Service was good and fast. The cappucino needs improvement tho. But we definitely will come back

This is easily the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I got the waffle and classic Benny, both were INSANELY good. Their espresso and milk frothing machine was broken, but they were still able to make cold drinks, which were delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone, and when I come back to Victoria this will easily be a place I return to!

Very nice and cozy place. I love the retro vibe and the music. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's definitely a must while being in Victoria. A fantastic Canadian business!

What a lovely little place! I visited with my boyfriend and we both loved it. It was surprisingly quiet when we came but the food was so delicious. The pictures on the wall are so interesting! Our server was so nice aswell, great value👍

Famous people eat here…. And so do regular folks. Very friendly service and just far enough from tourist ville that you don’t have to wait in a line on a Friday….. weekends though be prepared to wait.. had myself a delicious Benny … it’s always nice to try something different.. this new to me Benny was worth the risk of trying something new…. If you are looking for a Victoria classic … skip the j jar and head to johns.
