First impression of this place as you walk in is that it's a lot bigger than it looks like from the outside. Coming from SF, my friends and I were worried having to wait for Korean food, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
We came for dinner at 7:30 on Sunday (last meal in SLC) and it wasn't crowded at all. There were some big groups, mostly families, there grilling, but since we weren't super hungry, most of us went with one of their soups. They also offer bibimbap, jap chae, tofu soup as well some hot pot and specialty items. Not a bad selection.
Banchan is pretty standard; you've got kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers, fish cake slices, potatoes, and broccoli. For my order, I went with a bowl of their galbi tang, which is short rib soup with glass noodles and eggs, for $11.99. It comes with a bowl of rice, but the soup is on the blander side so I mostly ate my rice with the banchan. This was only my second time ordering galbi tang, but it tasted pretty similar to the other one I've had in the bay area.
After 4 days of mediocre American food in the Yellowstone/Grand Teton areas, my friends and I were really excited to get back to civilization for Asian food again, and this definitely hit the spot!
