Jackalope Hotel Mornington Peninsula

Pure luxury with stunning views. Room and turn-down service are the best. They nearly made me joyfully teary by placing a Jackalope branded bookmark in between the pages of my half-read novel (books obsessed person here). I make a point to treat myself here at least once every year - it is worth it! HIGHLY highly recommend. Exceptional service, great food, fun cocktails, lots to do - simply pure indulgence!

Loved our stay at Jackalope. The pool overlooking the vines is stunning and everything feels very relaxing there. Love that you can get everything you need on site. Would highly recommend!

It’s been two weeks since my visit & I am still so very disappointed. 6 months ago I made a reservation & spent nearly $5000 for a two night stay to enjoy “The Midas Touch” package - paying extra for a “weekend stay”. I thought my experience would be exceptional….. however the team in multiple venues did not know of the package, I was charged an extra $6 for a Coke, extra $4 for a side of bacon & extra $20 for a glass of wine in my Dinner wine pairing with lobster!! I have received more value for my $5000 staying in a Club room in Singapore for a week! What a let down! By the way, if I came & stayed enjoying the package inclusions a la carte - I would have saved $1000. So very disappointed. I feel ripped off.

Beautiful setting, slick interiors, like something out of Squid Games with neon lighting and black walls. Our room overlooking the vineyard was well appointed, with a very comfy king bed, and the service overall was excellent. If only it wasn't so very expensive to stay here, then we could easily become regulars.

This hotel is the most luxurious hotel my partner and I have ever been to!|We couldn’t believe how beautiful the property was, we did the vineyard walk and it was so peaceful and relaxing!|We spent time in the spa and it was perfect overlooking the vines.|The complimentary snores kit and marshmallows by the open fireplace was also a lovely and unexpected touch! |The room was lovely, the view overlooking the carpark didn’t bother us at all as we hardly spent any time in the room! The room even had heated bathroom floor which we thought was amazing! |The complimentary inclusions such as breakfast (either in Doot Doot Doot or room service) was very nice and had good options! We also loved the complimentary popcorn and ice cream at night too!|We dined at rare hare for dinner and had a drink at the bar and everything we ordered was perfect!|Staff were also very friendly and helpful which goes a long way. |Highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a luxurious night/nights away!

Wow, I love this place. The accommodation was wonderful. Big rooms and plenty of extras supplied. Also offers a turn down service which I didn't think existed anymore. Flaggerdoot has wonderful cocktails and a great looking cocktail bar. Doot Doot Doot cannot be faulted. I loved watching the mechanics of the open kitchen. Plenty of variety on the menu. You will not go hungry. The lighting is impressive. I loved the little added touch of an open fire pit outside where you could toast s'mores. Included in your accommodation is a wine tasting experience which I would recommend. I could not fault the staff who were all accommodating and attentive. Jackalope is a great experience for a special occasion.

Our experience of staying at Jackalope was nothing short of perfect. I had to change the booking a few times and each time was met with a prompt and polite reply. Nothing was too much trouble. We were blown away with the property - it is just exquisite! We indulged in the Guilty Pleasures package which had so much incredible value! We loved each and every part of it from the wine tasting to the inclusion of mini bar, oysters and martini, PJ's and of course the sumptious dinner at Doot Doot Doot and breakfast the next morning. The staff are so attentive and proactive and always happy to accommodate requests and changes to the booking. An incredibly memorable stay to celebrate our 20 years of marriage!

My partner and I had two nights escape at the Jackalope hotel. From the drive in, we knew that all of our expectations were about to be exceeded. We stayed in two rooms with baths and views to vineyard and terrace. Both were exceptional, very clean and elegant, and so many complementary add-ons were a sweet surprise. The whole mini bar with drinks and snacks of local produce is complimentary, breakfast at their stunning restaurant Doot Doot Doot, wine tasting from their cellar door, and a big jar of aromatic with essential oils bath salts. All included. The spa and sauna overlooAll of the staff were next level accomodating! A big thank you to Nella, who made sure that we were well looked after!! There are many 5 star hotels in Victoria, but Jackalope is one of the few that actually stand up and exceed this standard. Attention to every detail .. even heated bathroom floors. We will be back definitely.

I was traveling on business to Australia and decided to take a few extra days to explore. I had read about the Jackalope in a magazine as it opened in April 2017. The newly opened Jackalope which is on The Mornington Peninsula, about an hour's drive south of Melbourne, is a $40 million luxury hotel on the Willow Creek winery with restaurants Rare Hare and Doot Doot Doot. My favorite dining option was the Rare Hare, a casual drop-in eatery, food store and and wine tasting barn offering smoked artichokes with burrata and venison carpaccio with views of the vines. I loved breakfast which included the likes of spiced lamb and fried eggs or crisp chive-flecked waffles with smoked salmon with a well made strong coffee to get your day started. I stayed in the vineyard room which had a great view over the infinity pool and vineyard. The room was spacious and luxurious with sleek black furnishings. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had underfloor heating, the double rain shower was amazing and the little nook outside the bathroom was convenient for relaxing. At checkout the amazing service continued as I was offered several water bottles for my hour long journey back to the city and given awesome black bag luggage tags as a parting gift. FIVE STARS as I highly recommend Jackalope for its luxury, its special touches, its awesome attentive staff, and its beautiful location.
