"Magic, Magic, Magic. One of the team's dad was a pro magician, so we know about magic. Run by proper magic fans, you can find anything from a joke present to a captivating illusion. Also, although this place is very specialist it's very welcoming, and they love to chat and demo all sorts." - Kin

It was a great little place, a little bit like finding ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ in the middle of London. The items were fairly priced, and the staff had some great tips for my daughter and her journey into performing magic.

To be honest, I want to like this shop. There aren't many brick and mortar magic shops left, and I miss the days where I could enjoy browsing a magic shop and talking with people who share this passion. Unfortunately, every time I have visited, I have not had a great experience. The staff have been very curt and give the distinct impression that they just want me to buy something and leave. I don't think I've ever spent more than five minutes inside. It's a shame really - they don't seem to understand the appeal of an in-person magic shop. If I simply wanted an item, I could get a much better variety online for much cheaper. The whole reason to visit is for the experience and human interaction, neither of which have been great for me so far. I hope that I just visited on a few bad days, but there does seem to be a pattern. Maybe I just got unlucky. Unless something changes soon, I doubt I'll be back.

Great little magic shop. The magician behind the counter can sell you just about any trick. If you’re in London it’s worth the stop

What a gem of a store :-) I visited last week with my husband and kids and we were instantly greeted by a very friendly, welcoming gentleman (Martin). We explained the sort of tricks we were looking for and he had exactly what we were after and so much more - the choice really was endless. We were also treated to our very own mini magic show where both Martin and another kind gentleman (whose name I believe is Barry) performed the tricks and brought my family a lot of joy. It was really lovely to discover the history of the shop as well. It was explained to us that the store was founded by Martin’s father decades ago. It came as no surprise that this was a family-run business as the cosy, intimate feel of the store really does leave you feeling that this is the case. We will definitely return here. I’m really happy that a quick internet search helped us find such a lovely place and lovely people behind it. Thank you for an enjoyable visit!

My wife and I were visiting London, and a friend had recommended that we visit this shop. We are so glad we did visit - it was one of the highlights of our week. Martin is so helpful and pleasant, and it was such a brilliant experience in today’s world where online shopping is taking away the joy of shopping in-person. Martin performed several tricks for us and helped us decide what to purchase both for me and our good friend back home. I can’t wait to be back in London, and will definitely be visiting the International Magic Shop and buying more of their excellent products

My favourite place to go. Love spending time chatting with Martin, Barry and Marco. I never leave empty handed and you never know who you might bump into when in there.

Found myself back in London for work and popped in for the first time since COVID. Amazing place full of everything a magician or amateur would ever need and more. Really nice to see Barry and have a good natter and reminisce. I won't leave it so long next time. Cheers.

Yelp
This is a lovely friendly little shop, run by people with a passion for magic. It does stock both ends of the market. At the lower end you've got the tackier stuff, like fake moustaches, devils horns and fake sick. At the other end they do serious magic stuff: instruction manuals and media, and boxed tricks. In a package you'll get all the props needed to perform a professional-looking magic trick. I've found they are good at advising on what to buy. Apparently they also run magic courses. Of course the shop is only small, so nothing big like cabinets for chopping people in half, but I have a suspicion they could help you get one should you so desire! Their website is: http://www.internationalmagic.com/

Yelp
The best magic shop. They spent a ton of time helping our 9 year old find tricks within his budget. They had a ton of cards, gimmicks, and books to choose from.

Yelp
I like this place, they have been doing magic for many many years and really know what is right for all age groups. They diligently work out what trick is right for each age group, showing it and teach the person how to use it. If you care about magic is beautiful and a great service. I have have come here for over 20 years, they have always been experts at magic and they still are. I hope this place continues for years and years and years.

Yelp
This is a neat little shop. I visited by chance - I was passing, and the dusky interior seemed to beckon me in. The shop is packed - every wall, shelf and table is covered with novelties, books or magic tricks. It is a tiny shop, but just full of stuff. It is very old fashioned looking, and some of the stock looks like it's been there forever, but in a good way (if you know what I mean) - it really is a flavour of yesteryear. When I went in, there was an older gentleman performing card tricks with great aplomb. He was charming, involved his audience (me, a mum and her child of around eight), and talented. Whilst I didn't buy anything, I was utterly charmed, and would certainly visit again.

Yelp
This is an amazing little shop. They have a huge selection of magic gimmicks, DVD's, cards, books and anything else you could ever want. On most items they are cheapest of the two magic shops in London. Also on the items I was pricing they where on average the same price or at the most £1 to £2 more than online options but no waiting for it to arrive in the post. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. They are more than happy to help me get what I wanted. They even taught me the basics to get me started with my items. I was even offered a cup of tea when I was in on a cold Sunday morning. I'm a big fan of this shop :)
