Fabulous hotel. Lovely lobby with fountain as you enter. Love the sound of water. And the fragrance. This hotel smells so good. Desk staff are very helpful and unrushed. My room had an excellent view of King Fahd's fountain. The room itself had plenty of space and was very clean. The shower pressure was strong and the water hot. I slept well on a big comfortable bed with comfortable pillows. The hotel has been around for decades but still looks great. It is a very short walk to the Corniche. I will stay here again next time I'm in Jeddah. Value for money.

Alhumdulillah, was an excellent stay at Intercon Jeddah! ||As expected, nothing was too|Much trouble for the staff at the Hotel, from check in through to departure, and everything in between.||Great facilities including an we’ll|Stocked Gym, with “proper” equipment - not your typical Hotel gym with a few cardio machines.||Swimming poor was a nice touch, albeit water was a bit warm for my liking. ||Rooms were very spacious and calming. Great views of the Fountain was a nice touch. ||We ate in Spears Brazilian restaurant. Could not fault it. Very nice food and everything was well explained. ||Buffet restaurant was very nice with a varied array of food||Breakfast was pleasant and in a calm|And serene atmosphere. ||Concierge team were very helpful and always at hand to offer help and advice.||Mr Anas, the manager, made it his business to welcome us and speak with us, which is a very nice touch. Very caring and considerate. Well done Sir!||Will definitely return

Hotel looks amazing from outside the lobby looks absolutely stunning. Unfortunately the rooms were disgusting. Hygienic levels are very low. Breakfast is average definitely does not reflect on the room rate cost Staff Were very friendly and that’s all I attempted to connect with the front desk manager Didn’t even show up after attempting twice to connect with him

Absolutely fantastic stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful. When they realised it was my wife's Birthday on the day of checking, we returned that evening and found a birthday cake in our room. So thoughtful, definitely will come again the next time we are in Jeddah.

I was in Jeddah for a month for business. Everything from the staff to room cleanliness and the Club was amazing. The staff in the restaurant always greeted everyone with a smile. The food was good and always fresh. I'm not sure who the lady was that was at the restaurant desk during the week, but she was always welcoming. the Club staff were great, as well. They always went out of their way to ensure every guest had what they needed. I even asked for a salad one night, which was not on the Club menu. the staff went out of their way to make one and delivered to the Club area for my dinner. The hotel was always immaculately clean. The lobby floors were swept and polished every morning, my room was serviced when requested and there was no trash left laying around. The pool and male gym was located in a separate building, while the female gym was located on Floor 1 in the main hotel building. I used Uber for my travels and the drivers never had any issues getting onto the property to pick me up or drop me off. Plenty of really good restaurant within walking distance, too. If I am ever in Jeddah again, I will definitely be back to this hotel.

Paid quite a bit for a night thinking it would be a comfortable stay, given it's a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, the standard didn't meet our expectations. The entrance is pretty glam, but it ends there. Once we got to our room, we noticed a layer of dust on the work desk and the balcony (which they don't seem to maintain). Only one power socket was working throughout the room (we were 3 people in a room). The lampshades were broken and tilted. The tea kettle had rust on the inside. The AC cooling wasn't strong enough. A lot of things seemed to be broken and outdated. The age of this hotel is starting to show, and I would expect that for such a poorly maintained hotel, prices would be cheaper. I booked looking at the pictures and the reputable name, but unfortunately feel like I wasted my money.

I recently stayed here and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the basic amenities. Housekeeping did a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout our stay. The location was convenient, close to local attractions which made exploring the area very easy. The hotel also offered a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner and were well-maintained. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and reliable hotel.

I had a truly wonderful stay at InterContinental Dar Al Tawhid in Makkah. The location is unbeatable — just steps away from the Haram, which made everything incredibly convenient. The food was consistently excellent throughout my stay. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared — the kitchen team clearly takes pride in maintaining high standards. A special note of appreciation to the reception staff, who allowed me to extend my checkout time until 4 p.m. free of charge. That gesture made a big difference for me, and I truly appreciate their flexibility and hospitality. The only minor downside was the aged furniture, which I mentioned to the team. Thankfully, I was informed that the hotel is planning a full renovation starting next year, with budget allocation already underway — which is great news. Overall, this hotel combines exceptional service, top-notch food, and a prime location, and I look forward to staying here again, especially after the upcoming renovations.
