Experience upscale comfort at this chic West End hotel, boasting stylish rooms, a Southern restaurant, and an intimate bar with live music.
"How did it strike you on arrival? If you'll allow the metaphor, the Hutton is the Justin Timberlake of hotels—equal parts Southern sass and global rock 'n roll. Nashville's original boutique hotel has a well-designed, open-format lobby with various seating areas and striking art installations that lay the framework for a stylish stay. What’s the crowd like?Back before Nashville had a half-dozen luxury hotels, everybody who was anybody would stay at the Hutton when passing through. During CMA Fest and any awards show, you could almost be guaranteed a celebrity sighting if you camped out in the lobby long enough. Tell us about the rooms.Rooms definitely aren't large, but they're so smartly designed, you won't necessarily mind that you sacrificed on space. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?The bed will have you wishing you hadn't scheduled that 8 a.m. meeting. How about the little things, like minibar, or shower goodies. Any of that worth a mention?Rooms are outfitted with a coffee machine and a selection of complimentary teas. Raid the minibar for local treats like Colt's Chocolates and Goo Goo Clusters (available for purchase). How's the bathroom?Large mirrors, transparent countertops and shower walls give the illusion of more space. Anything else we missed? The hotel has started a partnership with Fender and will offer any guests who asks a guitar, bass, ukulele or iPad with the Fender Play app for use during their stay. Bottom line: worth it?It's worth it. What was once one of Nashville's most expensive hotels is now surprisingly affordable compared to its competition. You get more bang for your buck at the Hutton than you do elsewhere for this level of service." - Kristin Luna
"The exterior of this Midtown lodging won’t win any design awards—the building previously housed an insurance company—but that’s what makes the art-filled, wood-accented lobby such a pleasant surprise upon arrival. With its plush leather sofas and moody interiors, the Hutton exudes down-home charm with a modern touch: A friendly sit-down check-in coupled with swift service at the lobby’s WestEnd Kitchen & Bar make the hotel a favorite of touring musicians and visiting celebrities. Oversize guest rooms (some of Nashville ’s largest) feature soft blue and gray tones, fabric-covered walls, and vibrant artwork. At the 5,000-square-foot on-site music venue Analog, you can sip creative cocktails while listening to some of the city’s top performers, but if you’d like to see the view from the other side of the microphone, the hotel’s Writers Studios is stocked with state-of-the-art equipment for laying down your own tracks."
"The recently revamped and rebranded Hutton Hotel restaurant WestEnd Kitchen & Bar is now without its opening executive chef, Christopher Anderson. The split occurred this past Friday afternoon, with the circumstances surrounding the move currently unclear." - Matt Rogers
"The Hutton Hotel, the first hotel to truly capture the city’s sophistication and one of our (and our readers') favorites, is already ramping up for round two, pulling ahead of the rest. After a renovation late last year, the hotel has an updated look and, more importantly, a few reasons to visit even if you aren't staying there."
