"HouseBoat Grill Hop on a small barge-ferryto bewhisked out to a larger boat for an unusual dinner on the water. Dine on the covered top deck, if you can snag a table, foran alfresco meal with a glittering night view of Montego Bay’s coast and the Caribbean. The menu is for seafood lovers but has options for everyone. The cozy, warmly litnautical interiorlends arelaxed and intimate vibe. Your fellow dinerswill most likely be locals, so you can feel like a Jamaica insider—previous passengers on the HouseBoat have included Steve McQueen, the Duchess of York, and the Beach Boys."

I don't know why people use these platforms to spread stupidity and negativity, but it should be used to spread love and support and awesomeness. This was our first time to this restaurant and my wife does like to look at reviews, but I do not! My method is very simple.I try the place and I judged it for myself. Hands down, this was one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. We had drinks, a main course, and even dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was simply delicious. Thank you, and we will be back.

To get to the houseboat, you travel by foot ferry. You get on the little ferry, and with a solid push and a pull, you arrive at the Houseboat. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas with lights. The interior is solid wood with a see-through fish pot in front of the bar. Make sure to admire the lights of Montego Bay from the deck. I would have added an alfredo sauce or pesto to the vegetarian pasta. The fish was well seasoned. The service was in line with fine dining restaurants on the island.

Lovely place, experience and service. Its just 5 meters from the land, but its a restaurant on a boat and so far the best experience at Montego Bay. The sunset at the rooftop its incredible. When the night comes the string of lights all over the place its charming. For the food we had the carbonara lobster and the surf n turf. Im still thanking me for asking the sauce apart, it would destroy, for me, the tasty of the lobster, too much spicy. And we tought the plates was too expensive for what it was. At the end 148 for 2, with only 2 glasses of wine. With tax but plus 15% of service.

Good Day Everyone While in MoBay we went to the House Boat Grill. A nice restaurant always crowed and you HAVE TO, HAVE TO make reservations. I couldn’t give it a higher review because the staff is not hospitable and they emphasized how some people did not come to work. The concept is cute you have to take a little boat a short distance to the restaurant. Will visit again- it’s nice to finally find a restaurant that is not casual.

This place was amazing. Restaurant on the water. The food was great; I had the snapper. The server was also super attentive. The only piece of advice I have is to put some bug spray on if you come here in the evening or the mosquitos will eat you alive.

This was the highlight of our entire trip. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch! We stayed at an all inclusive which doesn't even compare in food quality to what we got here. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in Jamaica and in the Montego Bay area. We visited many other local restaurants and none of them were even close to this.

If you are into unique, outdoor experiences then you will enjoy it here! The House Boat Grill offers a one of a kind experience. This restaurant actually floats!--we had to take a mini ferry ride to actually get to the restaurant; it was so cool! I enjoyed it here, the perfect spot for a chill brunch date or romantic date night under the stars. Had this place on my bucket list for a while and I'm happy I went, it's definitely worth checking out!
