The reviews are great. Seems like I stayed in a different hotel. Complained about how dirty my bathroom was and how in general ugly and dirty was the room. Asked for the beds to be made one double... Was promised my complaints would be addressed, I would receive an email... Nothing. Even the toilet wasn't cleaned after my complain. As a compensation the breakfast was deducted from my invoice. The breakfast which I didn't have... I paid 460 for two nights at the low season 2-4 Dec.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful stay at your lovely hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer. The whole staff was so helpful with answering questions, letting us store our luggage before check in and then transporting it all up to our room for us when we came back after a day in Paris. Our room was very comfortable and the sounds of school children in the am being dropped off by their parents and also being picked up at the end of the day was charming. Our street was quiet during the night with an occasional laugh or outburst of folks enjoying the evening- it was not disturbing at all. The breakfast was delicious with a lovely lady( cannot remember her name who set it up) saying good morning and being so attentive. I could not carry my suitcase down the stairs and a very strong lovely lead staff member took care of this for me. And the folks at the front desk were so patient & kind with our attempts to speak French and answering our questions. The hotel is charming, old & classic and clean. And the outside garden sitting area is lovely. I hope to come back again to stay when I visit my cousins(who live SW of Dijon) and bring them to stay here too. Merci beaucoup for the lovely stay!

I liked the country vibe of the hotel. There is a very tiny elevator. I didn’t use it but it looked like it was helpful for people. They could send their bags up or down and just meet the bags at the designated floor. The lobby area and cafe area were nice to sit for a bit. I didn’t go out into the garden but it looked like a nice space. Most of the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I was able to go to the lobby desk even at night to get things I needed. I declined room service so this made things easy for me. The hotel hallway on my floor felt quite narrow. The room was very small as I expected and the shower was extra tiny. It was uncomfortable trying to shower in a space that small. The carpet in the room had stains. Overall the room could use some upgrading. The location was good because you could access several bakeries, cafes and coffees shops by walking but the downfall is that the street was sometimes blocked due to their being a school across the street. This presented issues for our Ubers at times. It was nice staying at this hotel for the overall experience and being located in a actual neighborhood, but if I returned to Paris I would stay in an area where the hotels have larger rooms more like American room sizes.

The associates are so nice! The rooms appeared very clean! The place smells of mold/mildew (stayed in two different rooms). The air conditioning is minimal / none. They use old keys which was kind of cool. The elevator is very small and not wheelchair accessible. Wouldn’t rate the hotel to be ADA compliant. ||||Would stay here again!

Hotel is easily accessible by many train lines, but not in the most charming section of the arrondisement. The look of the lobby, rooms, courtyard, etc. is all very lovely and well considered, however , the property needs a pretty serious maintenance-focused facelift. My room (which was too small to accommodate more than one person traveling with one suitcase) had peeling paint and moldy ceilings in the bathroom, my toilet seat was so loose it slid off the bowl whenever I sat down and one side of the flush didn't work. My friends had similar issues in their rooms, which were situated in a separate building across the internal courtyard, and had no heat though evening temperatures were in the 40s.||||So I'm not sure the value to price ratio is quite right. However, the staff was lovely and responsive. I'll try other spots before returning here.

Cute boutique hotel. Walking distance from many local eats and bakeries. A little north from all the excitement of touristy Paris, but not so heavy traffic, making it a quiet nice and safe hotel. Courtyard was cute. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here recently on our honeymoon and we will be back again! The location is perfect with easy access to the metro. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food in the area was delicious. Hotel Bienvenue is the hotel to stay at when you visit Paris!

Yelp
This hotel has so much potential, but is visibly lacking upkeep. Style is great, their front desk staff is kind but the rooms are tired and worn. Upon checking in, we were given a room with gnats, lots of mold, a cracked toilet seat, worn carpet, and overall musty smell. We asked to move rooms but every double room was full that night, so the staff accommodated switching our rooms the following day and applied a discount to our stay for the first night. However, the room we were moved to was tired and worn once again with dirty carpet, signs of mold, crooked sconces, and scratched up walls. Beds were also uncomfortable. Location is good, they need to address the mold, give it a deep clean and do some repair work. Not what I would expect for a four star hotel. Wish we would've stayed while it was being cared for and hope they turn it around.

Yelp
Located in the 9th Arrondissement, the Bienvenue is tucked away on a short one way street with a couple of other small hotels. Close to a good number of restaurants & shops with a couple of grocery stores around the corner. We had a triple room with 3 twin beds. Looked like they had quadruple rooms available also. Our room was small (ok as we didn't come to Paris to sit in a hotel room). The bathroom was very small & ours could've used a new shower door as it leaked. The room has a safe & mini bar although ours didn't keep the drinks cold. That said, we were here in late June during the heatwave & the air conditioner kept our room cool & comfortable. There is a nice terrace for meals and drinks. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant, the aroma was enticing. Elevator is one person only & an experience. If you're on a higher floor you'll get some exercise. Overall, ok with some old world charm & something different from the chain hotels. Extra star for the friendly and helpful staff & location.

Yelp
This cute little boutique hotel located in the 9th was such a great little find. The branding and design are super fun, the courtyard is a great place to have your morning coffee and the rooms were decorated nicely! The elevator in the building was easily the smallest of ever seen but, don't be alarmed as all the nuts and bolts have been updated to 2019 standards. Even still, I avoided because I don't love European elevators. ;) Friendly staff, great location and a great little breakfast if you're interested. For me, it's a Parisian crossiant outside of the hotel lobby.

Yelp
This was a great hotel with a great location very close to the Caday metro station. It was also like 100 meters from a small grocery store that came in handy as you pass it when you go to and from the metro. The hotel staff was very accomodating and spoke English very well. Our room stay came with a free breakfast that was ample and held us over well. We stayed with another family and we both agreed that this was a great place to stay. Also recommend buying metro tickets buy the week. It was a better deal. My only.comment to the hotrl.would be to have the cleaning folks scrub the tiles a bit harder as we had some of the orange colored mildew in the shower on floor 1.
