Absolutely love love love Himkok! The vibe is great, staff are awesome and service is wonderful, and of course - the drinks, what can I say? They were interesting and featured local produce and the alcohol from the in-house distillery. Every drink tasted so good. My only regret is not finding this bar earlier during my trip. I live halfway across the world and would fly back in a heartbeat just to visit this bar again!

One of the best cocktail bars I’ve been in. Friendly and knowledgeable bar tenders, the menu selection is huge with a lot of interesting cocktails to try. I ordered around 10 cocktails over 2 days and every one of them was great. There is no wonder this place was awarded the number top 10 cocktail bar worldwide .

This place cannot be seen from the streets, it’s located inside a building, the speakeasy style type of hidden bars. The welcome is very nice and friendly, the service is great and of nice advice. The drinks are prepared with a great professional fashion, are well presented and delicious, the overall atmosphere is pleasant. One of the best bars you can do in Oslo.

Wonderful bar. Great tasting. The bartender was really nice and introduced us the bar, even recommended and whipped us up some special drinks. I’m obsessed, hope to visit soon!

Checked out this place based on reviews and was not disappointed! There are two sections here - a more casual brewery kind of scene and the cocktail bar inside where we sat. The bar had fabulous vibes - managing to be trendy, classy an d fun all at once - and some spectacular cocktails. Little wonder it’s found a spot in the world’s top 50 bars. Luca, who was part of the team there and chatted with us about the place and drinks seemed to have such a fun personality. A bit on the pricier side but if you are willing to indulge yourself on an evening out in Oslo then Himkok should top your list.

This place is legendary and for great reason. HIMKOK means moonshine in Norwegian and the reason is that they actually distill their own spirits which is super cool! The drinks are constantly rotating and they have a very cool menu this time where all the drinks are named off a fruit flavor with these cool fashion inspired drawings associated with them. The servers were super knowledgable and really knew how to suggest what drinks we would like based off our spirit preferences and flavor profiles. The bartenders were also super cool and really fun to interact with. They have 3 locations - the speakeasy immediately on the right, the garden on the left, and then an upstairs patio. I would highly suggest going to the speakeasy if you want their "known" for drinks and actual mixology. The garden is nice for group hangs and getting their premade batched cocktails. And then finally the upstairs patio seemed cool we never went up ther. Highly, highly recommend if you want great cocktails.
