Stayed here 20 years ago, came back revisit with family on this trip. Still awesome in terms of service, staff is dedicated, amazing. Sunset view from lounge is breathtaking. Room is spacious, breakfast is high quality. Pros: 1. Free car park - just register your car number and you will be free in and out. 2. Lounge - one of the best, equipped, high quality in terms of food and environment. 3. Staff - Staff members are always very warm and welcoming, hardworking, take great care of customers. 4. Location- right at water front, everything is walking distance. Cons: 1. Pool - limited shade, can be very hot and sunny from before 8am until 7pm. Kids pool is big, but very basic, kids will get boring pretty fast without their pool toys. 2. No spa and massage in house, but there are few within walking distance.

I recently had a short staycation at Hilton Kuching, and it turned out to be just what I needed calm, comfortable, and refreshing. The staff were warm and welcoming but not so friendly, check-in was smooth and quick. ||The upgraded King Guest Room with River View and the room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The stunning view of the Sarawak River right from my window especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. which made the stay even more enjoyable. and offered a stunning view of the Sarawak River.||Breakfast was good and variety of both local and international options. I especially enjoyed the laksa, kolo mee and fresh tropical fruits — a true Sarawakian touch!||The location is perfect for a staycation. It’s right by the Kuching Waterfront, so I could take relaxing evening walks, and there are plenty of cafes and local attractions within walking distance. Hilton Kuching delivered a memorable and rejuvenating staycation. Whether you’re a local looking for a weekend retreat or a visitor wanting a riverside escape, this hotel is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back.

I spent 3 nights at Hilton Kuching on the first leg of my photo expedition to Borneo with Natural Habitat Adventures. This hotel is a little gem. Clean, comfortable, modern, large room and good location. My room had a fantastic view overlooking the river. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant, however, there are a couple of very good restaurants near the hotel. The area surrounding the hotel is pleasant to walk around, particularly the walk along the river. Overall, I found the hotel to be more than adequate for a stay in Kuching and would recommend it to family and friends.

This is my second stayed at Hilton Kuching, and as usual it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located right by the Sarawak River, my room had a great view and it was a very easy to get to the Kuching Waterfront, local restaurants, various sights. ||Check-in was smooth and the staff were warm and genuinely welcoming me as Diamond member. They gave a a great upgrade of room. ||The hotel has just been through a full renovation and everything felt new, modern, clean and it is in a very good shape. ||I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant every day and found the buffet to be generous and varied, with a good mix of local dishes and other options like omelette, bacon or what you request. Staff was very service minded. ||The Executive Lounge with an amazing view over Sarawak River in combination with their professional and service minded personal and very tasty food.||The gym is newly renovated well equipped with brand new Technogym equipment in a spacy area. ||The pool area was also is excellent to relax by on days. ||I can warmly recommend Hilton Kuching, very good service, value for money and a great location. |I will be back again in August this year 2025, and looking forward to Hilton Kuching hospitality.

Whenever I visit Kuching to catch up with family I have over there, I stay at Hilton Kuching and since my last visit (a few years back now), it has undergone a full renovation, which has brought in a more modern feel to the hotel and made it perfect for those travelling for business or with a family. ||Stand outs for me include:||1. The executive lounge (where you can grab breakfast and food/drinks throughout the day overlooking the river and in a very comfortable environment.||2. The recently opened kids club. This is a fantastic addition, especially if you're travelling with children. I was able to drop my 5 year old here while I went for a gym session and she loved her time there with the carer overseeing the space. It is well equipped - there's a TV, book corner, activity space, plenty of toys and a table for them to do creative activities. ||3. Location is great - you're a short walk away from shopping malls, restaurants, shops, the river and local food courts. And if you need to travel further, you can always use Grab (Kuching's equivalent of Uber). ||A great stay, made even better following all the recent upgrades. Thank you to the team, especially the carer at the kid's club and those working in the executive lounge.

Two years ago, I celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Hilton Kuching buffet. I brought along my aunty, who was a vegetarian. Chef Naz went out of his way to prepare a special vegetarian pizza and Vietnamese wrap just for her. My aunty was so happy that day. Sadly, two months later, she passed away.||Every time I come back here and see Chef Naz, it brings back the memory of that beautiful evening and the smile on my aunty’s face. Today, I celebrated my daughter’s birthday here again, and I am reminded of how much those thoughtful gestures mean.||Thank you, Hilton Kuching, and especially Chef Naz, for creating not just great food, but also lasting memories.

My wife and I had six stays in June/July and August and the service standards, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were consistently at a very high level. Even during high occupancy occasions in the hotel and restaurants we always received very courteous and personalized attention. ||What stands out are the unique and non-scripted, yet professional and polite interactions which are so rare in the hotels nowadays. There are too many staff to name personally but the journey from arrival to departure is always a serious of "moments of magic" created by all team members: ||At arrival, the lobby ambassadors, Harith, Ateef and Oliver amongst others, are always at hand to help with the luggage and extend a cheerful "welcome back". Adrian, Aaron and Christopher always handle the check-in so personalized and without minimum fuss. Not forgetting Karrie in reservations who handles the bookings so efficiently. ||In the lounge, Engle, Sheila and Allessazier looked after us really well. Puan Mastura in the coffee shop equired in a shy but delightful way how to pronounce our names and Betty and her team always remember our preferences for coffee and tea. ||The food in the restaurants and bars is excellent with the Chinese Restaurant being our favourite. Helen, Terry, Haidir and the other team members remember our favourite dishes. Eric is a quiet high achiever at the lobby lounge and is very fast in preparing take away sandwiches for us. ||To create and maintain such high levels of service is no easy task and requires constant training and management. Congratulations to Adrian Teh and his team for matching the now excellent facilities, following the recent renovation, with service of the highest standard. ||With 35 years of history and an unbeatable location in the heart of the city, overlooking the Kuching river The Kuching Hilton is one of these legacy hotels that just gets better and better over time. ||We certainly look forward to returning soon and have no hesitation of recommending the hotel to any business or leisure traveller.

Yelp
This hotel gets the job done. The beds were singles; on the plus side, my wife was excited not to have to sleep next to me...but they were also only a slight upgrade over army cots. The shower is adequate, although if you're picky about your products, I'd bring your own shampoo and such. It isn't exactly brand new, but it was clean, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's as modern as any of the hotels in Kuching. The breakfast buffet has many options, some even tasty enough. I was happy to see some steamed broccoli and carrots one morning, as just about everything I'd had in Sarawak up to that point was fried, but they were nowhere to be found the following day. The staff is nice enough, although a bit forgetful. The guy who checked us in at the front desk ran my card twice for the deposit, and wouldn't have given our passports back unless I reminded him to go grab them off the copier. Nothing malicious, he just had a lot on his mind. The best thing about the Kuching Hilton is the location. It's a few short steps away from the Sarawak river, so you can easily walk out and wander the waterfront when everything starts to open up around 6:30 or 7 pm. It wasn't exactly full up when we visited, so chances are you can snag a view of the river, like we did. There's a pool. And that's all I have to say about that.

Yelp
It's a bit of a ride from KCH to Center City Kuching. Having never been to Kuching (which seems to be more Chinese than Miri or Kota Kinabulu) and didn't really know what to expect in terms of my accommodations and the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at what looked like any other upscale Hilton and near a waterfront promenade. Our business trip team checked in, and got outside to walk around. We really enjoyed the water, the various architecture, the passenger boats navigating the Sarawak River, and some really cool local gift shops. It seemed safer and more interesting than Kota Kinabalu and not self contained like we felt at the Miri Marriott. Inside the Hotel was a nice Chinese restaurant, and a buffet area below that served both dinner and the included breakfast. They also have a bar/club, but I found the tobacco smoke to be uncomfortable. My room was very comfortable and easily compatible to any other Hilton I've stayed. I got 2 nights of good sleep, the first time post jet lag from my flight to Malaysia from the US half a week previous. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed being their guest.

Yelp
Good location, quality service and amenities. Nice view if you get the river-facing rooms. Nearby shops and malls are just just walking distance.
