Haugen's Chicken & Ribs Barbeque

We both had the chicken sandwiches and they were very filling and delicious. My friend also had the strawberry pie, which looked so good I had to try a bite even though I was so full from my meal. It was soooo good! The berries were delicious and fresh and this is the perfect desert for a hot summer day. It wasn't busy, so we were seated right away, our waitress took our order quickly, and our food came out hot, fresh, and fast. Waitress was very personable and pleasant. Not sure what the portion sizes are with other dishes, so I can't speak to all the comments that the sizes are too small, but ours were just right for a grown man and too much for me! I would visit again if I'm in the area.

We expected tasty food, but it wasn't what we expected. We ordered a Haugen's Club Wrap, a Quartet Chicken and a "Love me Tenders". They are average. We ordered small salads and had to pay for them separately. The service leaves something to be desired. Anyway next time we will skip it due to the cost and size of the dish.

This restaurant is pretty cool....brings back memories from when you were a kid. Foos is really good. The ribs are nice and tender. The chicken is very flavourful and juicy. The fries....oh the fries....just get them! The pies are tasty as well....we had the wild blueberry pie...and they were actually wild blueberries. Service was excellent. Everything was nice and clean. Check them out!

Haugen's is a cool spot that I've been wanting to go to for years. Food was delicious and satisfying. Great server and quick service. Quality overall was a bit lower than a five, but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Chicken was good! Very tender! A couple pieces were fridge cold for some reason, the bun wasn’t toasted so the chicken steamed the bun and gave it a doughy chew for a couple of bites, get the chicken dinner instead and it’s great!

So sadly disappointed. Was in the neighborhood and hadn't bought from there for at least a generation. The chicken was at best so so and I would venture Swiss Chalet was better. The absolute annoying part was that the fries were blanched and not final cooked. One taste and everything went in the garbage.

Chicken fingers were dry but the fries and the chicken quarter were good. Ordered strawberry pie, good but could be better. Waitress kind and sweet.

The food is good. The diner ambience is also really good. Well, I don’t understand one thing as to if we order a combo, and if we are willing to share, the restaurant doesn’t lets us. They charge an extra 9.99 for a head. I didn’t understand the logic . Since combo can definitely be shared among two, but why an extra charge. So we cancelled the combo, and we ordered sandwich and quarter chicken. Both was good though.
