Harry's Roadhouse

Great food and drinks, excellent service and all at a great price. We had lunch with friends, nice low volume music allowed us to converse freely. We couldn’t have been more pleased and will definitely return.

If I could give this 6 stars I would. Stumbled on this place and saw parking lot was crowded, which was the first good sign, especially a few days before Christmas! Service extremely pleasant, we had Shyan as our server, she was top notch! Ordered the grass fed green chile burger cooked medium rare and it was incredibly juicy, fresh and flavorful. Also got the rib appetizer cooked perfect, meat just fell off bone. Wife had the Buddha bowl with tofu and it was extraordinary. Everything was gourmet, fresh, and even coffee had incredible flavor (bonus)!

Saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and decided to eat here on a recent trip to Aspen. It did not disappoint. The three of us had different entrees. One of us had the smothered beef burrito, one of us had ribs and lastly one of us had the lamb special. The food was delicious! Our waitress (Shyan) was very friendly, quick and efficient. I highly recommend this place if you are in Santa Fe!

Harry’s is no joke - and I am not just saying that because my name is also Harry! We always stop here when visiting family in Santa Fe and it Never disappoints. The food at Harry’s Roadhouse is fresh, hot, and they prepare it the way you ask for it. It was our first time getting breakfast here, and the Green Eggs and Ham sandwich was absolutely delicious with Crispy home fries. And, for $10-$13 per meal, you can’t find comparable quality everywhere these days. The atmosphere brings you right back to the late 90’s/early 2000’s with its geometric layout and colorful art and walls. If you are lucky enough to sit out back on the patio you get to enjoy the fresh air and privacy created by the shrub arrangements. The servers are always slightly eclectic but kind, easy going, and great conversationalists. We will be back to Harry’s for sure. BONUS: Do NOT neglect to order pie!!! My favorite is the Coconut Creme Pie and I usually do not like coconut at all!! The bakery is legit.

My family came here for dinner and then breakfast the next morning. The service was super fast and the food was amazing! I ordered the Viatnamese caramelized fish for dinner which was a little too sweet but still good. The other meals we got were the double stacked blue corn turkey enchiladas, and then for breakfast we got the Tres leches French toast and the leo scramble (salmon, onion, cream cheese). All of these meals were off the charts and I highly recommend eating here for any meal.

Nestled about 10 minutes from Santa Fe's main strip and seemingly in the middle of nowhere, this gem is perfect for a hearty meal, but one has to get there early as the locals know the joint and frequent it so it gets crowded early. Decorated in southwestern motif, there's a counter, a bar, one room in the back, and a sunroom. Service is a bit on the peculiar side, but it's part of the appeal. Portions are big enough, and prices are closer to pre-inflation numbers.

We greatly enjoyed our visit to Harry’s Roadhouse! We enjoy visiting spots from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and this one did not disappoint. The service was great, and the food and drinks were excellent. I tried the stacked blue corn turkey enchiladas and they were delicious! Overall, this was a great meal in Santa Fe and I would definitely recommend it!

Nice drive out into the desert foothills and in the morning away from the city there is almost no traffic and the facility is amazing! This location is on a very interesting side of Santa Fe. Wowwww!!! The food and service are excellent! Come on by ... more fresh air seating and quieter than any restaurant around.

I love the food in New Mexico! I love when asked if I want something smothered, I can say Christmas and know I'm getting best of both worlds with red and green. We have visited Harry's on many of our visits to the area. The food is always good and the service is always on point. We sat in one of the side rooms so it didn't feel crowded. I ordered Huevos Rancheros with two basted eggs. The eggs were on top of a blue corn tortilla and there was a side of black beans to go with. The red and green chile smothered it to perfection. I could eat this meal breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was parched so my beverage of choice was water. My husband had the California Dreamin' hand-held burrito and a house margarita. He wasn't sure if he wanted a salted rim so our server offered to have half of it rimmed with salt. That was the perfect balance for him. My sis-in-law got a Turkey Reuben for her lunch and paired it with a martini. She said it was delicious and her drink was great.

Good food in a fun setting with lots of local and funky art. We went in around 2pm on a Sunday afternoon in mid-October. The parking lot was packed so we expected a long wait. The host told us 20-30 minutes but our party of 3 was seated in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the wild mushroom pizza. This was about a 10" pie with a nice assortment of mushrooms, mozzarella and spinach. I don't remember there being much spinach but the mushrooms were very good. I also had a small chopped salad as a side. It was a nice assortment of crunchy vegetables but I couldn't tell that it was dressed. Pizza and salad were both very good. My wife got the apple salad, which she said was very good. It had romaine, apples, blue cheese, walnuts and dried cherries with a light poppy seed dressing. The third in our party got a plain hamburger with fries, which she said was good. The service was fast and the prices reasonable ($12-$15). Harry's Roadhouse is a good spot to grab lunch away from the Plaza and when you want something besides Mexican (which they have but isn't the main food on the menu).

I've dined here for lunch and dinner before, and those meals were usually a solid hit. But today, I decided to mix things up and give breakfast a try. Enter the Lamb Hash. I'm not sure if it was having an off morning, but this dish just didn't quite wake me up. Imagine a concert where all the instruments are tuned and in place, but the lead singer just isn't hitting those high notes. That's what the Lamb Hash felt like--so close, yet so underwhelming. It came with all the usual suspects: feta, potatoes, egg, and a few peppers. But despite this ensemble cast, the flavor wasn't harmonizing. I kept waiting for that crescendo of taste that never came. Adding the habanero hot sauce definitely cranked up the volume, but by that point, I was more focused on solving the mystery of the missing flavor than enjoying my breakfast. And then there was the toast. Warm and inviting, slathered with some lovely butter... but then I looked over at the store-bought jelly sitting on the table like an uninvited guest. With all the fresh ingredients in this place, you'd expect something more artisanal, like homemade strawberry jam. The portion size? Let's just say if you're looking for a light dinner disguised as breakfast, you've found it! Thankfully, the meal wasn't a total flop. I grabbed the lemon ricotta pancakes to go for my husband, and those were the real headliner of the morning--fluffy, tangy, and worth every bite. Overall, I'd come back for the pancakes in a heartbeat, but the Lamb Hash? Not so much. Here's hoping it gets its groove back for the breakfast show.

Very popular place. We had a good meal with great service. The kitchen was busy but they were efficient and delivered in a reasonable time. We had some strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert. It was OK but not exceptional.

This is a regular for me that I don't visit often enough. Food is always excellent and service wonderful. We had sweet potato tacos. Delicious. Friendly and helpful staff in a restaurant that feels like home. Comfortable and welcoming.

Fast service, delicious food, fun atmosphere. Greeter was a small bit off-putting, but I'm guessing that is because so many people lie about their complete party being there. Hubs was just a few steps behind but greeter copped a bit of an attitude...until hubs walked in 15 seconds later. Loved how many staff and patrons dressed up for Halloween/dia de Los Muertos.

Fun place! I had migas, which were great, and a cinnamon roll, which was tasty, but not as good as I remember from the last time I was here; I think maybe someone else is making them now. They used to be extraordinary. This time, they were a little dry and needed a bit more icing. Anyway, everything was still quite good. Service is friendly if not overly fast, and the restaurant is clean and spacious.

The entry is so eclectic you feel like you've been transformed in time. Eric did an amazing job taking our orders, getting us served and having our table bussed on an incredibly busy night. Even though they were slammed for the holiday, he handled his tables super efficiently and with a smile. I enjoyed the Acorn Squash and will order that again. Don't pass up the pies. I enjoyed a piece of Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Food was excellent, drinks were perfect & and there is no doubt we'll be back.

What went well??? EVERYTHING! We've loved it. Lived in Santa Fe nearly 3 years and never have dined here until last night. Now we will go often. Our waiter Eric was so professional. He took care of the complete counter and 3-4 full tables. Flawless service. We had the fried catfish with green chili cheese grits! Turnip greens. The greens were cooked perfectly but a bit tart. (Needed brown sugar) I'm from the southern US and we make them a tiny bit sweet. Eggnog ice-cream was perfect. Coconut cream pie was good. Whoever is doing those dessert pies cakes is top dog! Cannot wait to take visiting family. The complete staff was like a well oiled machine! Thank you! Yummy

Another 5 star Sunday breakfast today. Guy's favorite waffle, blue corn waffle stuffed with bacon ! Go for the real maple syrup....this waffle is worthy of the good stuff....light and fluffy for a waffle. Wife's tres leche french toast with berries was terrific Quick service as usual, they can get busy so parking can be a challenge. Someday, gotta sit at the bar for snacks and a bloody mary. Always a great spot

Great breakfast. Eggs over-easy, applewood bacon, awesome potatoes. I also had one lemon pancake. Next trip will include a full order. Young lady had a wonderful smile, very courteous and very attentive. We sat inside, but I would also recommend the outside tables as well. Not exactly on a main road, but well worth the time and effort to find this place. I highly recommend a meal at Harry's.

We visited a quaint little piece of Santa Fe. This little restaurant is out of the way, by a few minutes, but not far. We were seated and greeted right away. The menu had a big variety of items to choose from. We started off with some homemade onion rings which was the best part of the meal. They came out super hot and crispy. They stayed together when you ate them and they were delicious. I ordered Buffalo burger, which was over cooked and under seasoned. The fries were hand cut, but lacked salt. My husband ordered the wild Mexican shrimp quesadilla. The shrimp were overcooked and rubbery, but the salsa was super tasty. We tried the lemon meringue pie for dessert. The filling was amazing, but the crust was not flaky as I would have liked. Overall the food was ok, but we recommend you all try it for yourself.

Vastly overrated. This place excels at mediocrity. No one goes broke selling heavy fats and sugars, the heroin of the food biz. The dishes at Heavy's, er Harry's are so loaded they should serve them with a defibrillator and a card of the local FA (foodaholics anonymous) chapter. In the two times that we tried it, as it was close to where we were staying, it was basic math. So... x So... gets you So-squared (So so) Lunch fail: The kale salad hid the kale in a sea of high cal. Simplify! The pizzas are popular, but nothing that you couldn't get elsewhere. The crust is slightly better than Dominos. Turkey stacked blue corn enchiladas? I say nay nay! Breakfast fail: The half-formed thing that claimed to be a blue corn waffle shouldn't have made it out of a prison line cook's school. The breakfast burrito was a fat topped mediocrity. Their New Mexican dishes are tourist inoffensive. Plating is 101 where avocado is used as both fat and an attempt to cover the mediocrity with happy bait. The ambience of the hipster Route 66 roadhouse, the very hip bar, and the outdoor seating are the big sells, especially to the tourists. Service is New Mexico friendly. They're busy. They're making money. Tips will induce smiles. Not much else. You would expect them to draw a big fifty foot line to keep the American Heart Association fanatics, imploring you not to enter, away from shaming you at the front door, but it's a town full of tourist calorias, so they get a pass. Won't thrill ya. Won't kill ya.

Great salads and quick service. Looking for a place still open in our hood and Harry's fit the bill!

Great restaurant with a cool patio. We walked through the main building and were seated at a secluded table on the patio surrounded by a wonderful garden. The service was excellent. The menu had many outstanding options but I went with the Grilled Cheese with sautéed onions and a portobello mushroom on sourdough bread. It was delicious! I also had their signature Sangria to drink. For dessert I had the rhubarb pie (and some of my wife's cherry pie). Both were delicious! Unfortunately the Yelp app only allows me to give it 5 stars, I personally would have gone higher!

We were given personal recommendations to go to Harry's by multiple locals, on different occasions. I was told that the ribs were excellent and " Harry's has the best Margarita in town!" The ribs dinner was more than I wanted so I got carne asada tacos and the famous house margarita. ( there are several different margarita offerings) Next time I might get a rib appetizer. The food was excellent, served quickly, and hot on a very cool night. Our server Joshua was very professional, kind and fun. The place was crowded, but the wait was minimal, and the staff made it fun in the whole place. Good for groups, and families. We will return!

This was a fun little spot that I decided to stop in for lunch. It really is like a roadside stop in place. Since it was just me I grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and he seemed to know everyone else at the bar. Got my food quickly and smashed it into my face (literally). I'd go back and do it again again.

The food is great and Tyler, who takes orders, obviously enjoys his job, is very attentive and even entertaining!

Truly a great quality New Mexican diner that is worth the wait, because there will be a wait. The staff is so friendly and the options were plentiful to cover all of our varying interests. I got the turkey enchilada which was good - grabbed sauce in the side, which I'm glad I did because the red chili had heat! Their mushroom pizza was one of the best - thin crust with various mushrooms. Their burgers were the best quality -- pasture raised by Native American ranchers. Prices were definitely more reasonable than some of the other restaurants we ate at closer to downtown.

Absolutely love Harry's Roadhouse. I am never disappointed! The atmosphere is always lively and the service is so friendly. I have never ordered a dish that I did not like. And the desserts are TO DIE FOR. Homemade and wonderful!! They have a fabulous patio in the back for any summertime visits. I absolutely recommend Harry's!

I ordered a pie to celebrate a birthday and couldn't have been happier. It was delicious and beautiful. I'd order again and hope to go back and try some of their menu. I've had nachos there but nachos are kind of hard to mess up. Food looks good and the people were all so friendly. It can get busy so try off hours to save yourself a wait.

Harry's Roadhouse is a long standing institution, that always lives up to its reputation. Open 6 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch $ dinner with 5 new specials every week. Operates like some of the great NY diners I grew up with before heading West. The staff is outstanding and somehow manages the hoarded that descend on the premises every meal every day.

On a recent trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico, my daughter and I had lunch at Harrys Roadhouse, since it was recommended by a couple friends. I ordered and really enjoyed a great sandwich. It was a fresh Roasted Turkey Breast Sandwich with green chile, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce and tomato on sourdough bread, served with a chipotle mayonnaise, coleslaw and chips. My daughter really liked the Turkey Reuben Sandwich on Rye bread with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing. It was served with some house-cut French fries. Harrys had a fun ambience, very nice and helpful waiters, and very tasty food and plenty of it. We really enjoyed it! We highly recommend that you visit Harrys Roadhouse when you visit Santa Fe!

Found Harry's Roadhouse on Triple D (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) hosted by Guy Fieri, so I thought it would be a great spot, the actual spot/location is great, but the food and service, not so much. We arrived close to sunset (before 7 PM) and put our name on the waiting list. We were told it would be 35 minutes at most, we ended up waiting 70 minutes for our table for two. We waited outside since the limited waiting area was overly crowded and packed with others patiently waiting to be seated. We were able to enjoy the beautiful view and sunset, so that was a plus, but then the clouds and rain rolled in, so it was muggy and sticky. We were finally seated in the back corner of one of the dining areas in the restaurant. It was near the kitchen, so we heard it all, an earful from staff and cooks, etc. The seating was close/cramped, but we weren't going to complain, we were hungry and ready to enjoy some "comfort food." There aren't many options around the area either and restaurants don't stay open as late (like LA/SD, CA). We ordered a Hawaiian Pizza. It came with ham, pineapple, red onion, tomato sauce, and mozzarella. It was a decent size pizza. The pizza was fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered a local beer, which was served flat; very little carbonation. He ordered the fried catfish plate with grits and collard greens. The plate was relatively small. The amount of catfish wasn't much and the catfish was dry/overcooked. The service was attentive at first, but after our food was delivered, we had to track down the waitress for water, napkins, bill, etc. It's unclear if it is still the same owner from the Triple D episode, doubtful... . I wonder if breakfast or lunch is better?! The locals and tourists really like this spot, if I ever return to Santa Fe, I will try it once more.

Huge menu. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The food is always excellent. You can't beat the back garden for ambience-- absolutely beautiful

We visited Harry's Roadhouse on the Sunday night of the Balloon Fiesta. We thought we went early enough (5 pm) to avoid a wait, but we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a table. The hostess encouraged us to grab a Margarita from the bar while we waited, which was an inspired suggestion. The house margaritas were lovely, and a second round with Grand Marnier was even better. After about 20 minutes we were seated in their back patio, and honestly we could not have gotten a more private, lovely table if we'd tried. The waitress was witty and knew the menu upside down and backwards. We ended up eating a combination of apps (chips and guac and quesadillas) and pizzas/kids entrees. Simple food, but everything was hot and fresh (slight demerit for no heat in the salsa). The best part was dessert. The lemon merengue pie was tart and fresh and really everything you expect from pie. The kids demolished a brownie sundae so no first-person reviews of that, but they were all smiles. The atmosphere of the place was the hero, but the service and the food weren't shabby either. We will be back! Thanks!!

Fantastic! Richard was our server and he made the entire experience great. We had the burger, and salmon tacos. The burger was very good. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The burger was a solid 7.8/10. The fries were also amazing. The salmon tacos were good, especially for the price. It was cooked well and the toppings were perfect. I highly recommended getting a juice, we had the lemonade and watermelon juice which is all made in house. The atmosphere is beautiful. Flowers everywhere, and doesn't seem to be able to get to crowded or loud due to good spacing between tables. Overall a amazing experience and will definitely be stopping back in. If you come here, ask for Richard. He's very very happy to help and answer any questions you have!

Outdoor patio is wonderful. Food was good but a bite pricey for a turkey sandwich on gluten free bread.

Went for breakfast and it was busy! Despite that, we were seated quickly. Food was great and I regret not trying it sooner. Will be going back not only for breakfast, but for everything else they offer.

Stopped into Harrys Roadhouse on Oct 8th for breakfast. Wow, our experience was great. We were seated right away, asked about drinks and served those right away, our waitress took our order at the perfect time and the kitchen had it ready in no time with nearly a full house. The friendly staff worked efficiently and well together. The food tasted great, and there was a nice selection to choose from on their menu. The owners had plenty of people working that morning (Monday) and everyone seemed experienced, skillful and committed to their customers. My family and I can recommend Harrys Roadhouse as a wonderful place to eat based on our experience. Thank you everyone at the Roadhouse for making our morning enjoyable !

Harry's Roadhouse is well worth the few extra minutes it takes to get there from downtown Santa Fe. It's a local favorite and I always visit when I'm in Santa Fe. The food is high quality, prices are excellent and the service is second to none. Tyler was my server today and he's one of those rare individuals who understands that he has the opportunity to brighten people's day with his encouraging words and attentive nature. Make sure to try any of their made from scratch pies. I always order a piece of chocolate pie to go. The ambiance is filled with local artwork which changes from month to month. Do yourself a favor and visit Harry's. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped her on our way out of Santa Fe. Little out of the way but worth it! I have a chicken avocado sandwich and my husband had a pepperoni pizza. Then we had a brownie sundae with bourbon pecan sauce. So worth the price. Friendly service and the atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly.

Harry's never disappoints. The stuffed acorn squash is one of my favorite but if you are a meat eater the turkey meatloaf is another go to. Service is great. Not rushed but prompt. Drinks arrive promptly and appetizer is always ahead of your meal. Winter time we ate on the enclosed front patio which is quieter than the bar area. Make the stop and enjoy your lunch or dinner

I lied earlier... this is the third restaurant we visited twice in Santa Fe (previously said only two)... But for good reason. These guys consistently put out excellent fare. I mean we loved everything we had here... but if I had to pick just one item- that shrimp quesadilla is a thing of beauty. You might be discouraged by the huge crowds, but the restaurant is expansive. Just go with it and have yourself an excellent meal- doesn't matter what you ultimately end up choosing. These guys consistently produce excellent cuisine across the board. Not to be missed when in Santa Fe.

We always come to Harry's during our annual vacations in Santa Fe. Our experience this year was the best yet. Amazing service, and we could tell watching the waiters & managers what a well run restaurant this is. Couple that with an amazing lamb special & a fabulous blueberry pie, and the night couldn't have been better. We've had wonderful food in Santa Fe, but Harry's was, is, and will remain our one can't miss restaurant in town.

Used to be a great spot for delicious food. Service and food have gone downhill and continue the trend.... Unfortunately, Harry's isn't what it used to be.

Always great food and service. Waited for garden table and worth it. Wild mushroom pizza the best DO NOT leave without having pie!! Garden beautiful and inside has well decorated rooms that are fun! Server Miles was EXCELLENT

We stopped here after hiking in the Galisteo basin with some hungry kids. We were pleasantly surprised at the unique decor and delicious food! We are so glad we stopped and gave it a try. I didn't get pictures of the grilled cheese sandwiches, but they were great too!

Very reliable for great food, as always. Sweet ambiance. It's a local landmark. Poor service. The server has been employed there for some time, although I I don't know how that's possible. He was passive aggressive, eye rolling, snarky looks at dining customers, and continuously pushed us into leaving. Strange situation. Probably won't be back for quite some time.

Went for lunch around 11:45 am and was told lunch didn't start till 1:00 pm. lol why 1:00?

The ambience was fun, and the service was excellent! There were lots of options in the menu, and our group of four enjoyed what we got. There were a couple of disappointing dishes. The ribs were tough, and the dressing on the Caesar salad was bland. Overall, though, I'd go back and try some more dishes.

Stopped in for brunch mostly because I saw Lemon Ricotta pancakes on the menu The pancakes were definitely good, but they were just missing that extra oomf to give my visit 5 stars. I also tried the salmon Benedict, and it was a good choice as well. The side of potatoes was really yummy. Service was friendly and quick, and you can tell they get a lot of regulars here. I would like to come back to try the tres leches French toast

We tried Harry's from a recommendation from our hosts at the Bobcat Inn. It was so delicious, we went back three more times during our stay in Santa Fe.

I visited for brunch this past Sunday and although it was busy, the wait was only about 15 minutes for the 2 of us. There's plenty of parking and a waiting area inside. Once we were seated, our server was quick to take our order and we were able to pay quickly when we needed to leave. The special of the day was Breakfast Huaraches and it was excellent. I loved the Mexican hash with the adobo and fonduta sauce. The black beans were some of the best I've had in a while since these were perfectly cooked and seasoned well. I also tried some of the scrapple and blue cornmeal waffle and both of these were really delicious. I've never had scrapple before, but it reminded me of thanksgiving stuffing. So good!

I have been at Harry's Roadhouse several times and I have to say that I have been happy except for yesterday. I was up north for work and I decided to stop by on my way back with a friend that has never been there. I have no complaints about the food but the service was horrible. Our server was not interested in us at all. She forgot to order our appetizer and not once came to check on us, did't offer more water, another drink or dessert (but she was constantly checking on other guests). It was very disappointing and hard to leave a tip. Then I called back to give feedback and the lady that answered the phone said "is there anything you want me to do?".

Extremely disappointing. Came here two years ago and it was the absolute peak of our whole vacation. We talked endlessly of returning to Harry's to enjoy a special meal here. The fried oysters started our adventure and they were amazing however it followed with two main dishes that disappointed. The Vietnamese catfish was undercooked and not carmelized. The dish was hastily cooked/undercooked with a sweet sauce that had been drenched on the catfish, and then thrown on the plate with some mediocre, mushy onions, The rice was mushy (mushy rice is never acceptable...)and the BOK choy way hastily chopped and sautéed with no umami or flair. I was so upset I asked the waite staff why?.. what changed?... and apparently they have a new owner which is the previous general manager but they were pretty adamant and saying that the chef had not changed. To the credit of the staff my inedible catfish was removed from the bill. (Thanks)... I would really like to know what happened? Why have you guys changed from the pinnacle of something that we literally talked about over and over again at home and dreamed about coming back to Santa Fe to have a meal at Harry's to something that.... just disappointed on so many fronts., I am inviting commentary by the owners or the chef. What happened?

Ordered carne asada tacos, which arrived cold. Meat was gristly, chewy, almost inedible. Taco mostly gristle and onions. I doubt someone would ask for a cold gristle-onion taco. Long ago, Harry's was so good, even serving bread with the meal. You apparently have to know what to order, or maybe it has declined overall. And the atmosphere, which I remembered as quirky but fun, was only quirky. We couldn't sit outside on a day that was in the 70's, too bad because their outdoor areas are lovely.

Best Bloody Mary in Santa Fe! They make the mix in house and it's amazing. Highly recommend!
